Admit it — you had pictures of Justin Timberlake in your locker and "Mrs. Leonardo DiCaprio" doodled in your binder in the '90s. And while we know what's happened to JT and Leo over the past two decades, we sometimes wonder what happened to all those other hunks we all crushed on. In honor of his 41st birthday on March 8, 2017, we'll kick things off with the dreamy Freddie Prinze Jr. When a '90s movie needed a lovable jock, he was the go-to guy. From playing an Ivy League-bound stud in "She's All That" to hottie Ryan Dunne in "Summer Catch," he certainly made the rounds. Keep reading to see where Freddie and your other favorite crushes ended up!
Freddie Prinze Jr. married fellow '90s superstar Sarah Michelle Gellar in 2002. The couple have two children together and are one of the few '90s celebrity pairings that are still going strong. Professionally, Freddie has had a varied career. He has continued to act, mostly on television, as well as do voice-over work. He's also been a producer and a director for the WWE (yes, the wrestling organization!).
Dreamy Andrew Keegan was always just a call away when a '90s movie needed a muscular stud. From playing bad boy Zack in "Camp Nowhere" and teen dad Wilson on "7th Heaven" to wannabe model Joey Donner in "10 Things I Hate About You," he was everywhere.

In recent years, Andrew Keegan has made headlines, but not for his acting: In July 2011, he was arrested and allegedly tasered after he refused to turn down the music at a house party. Two months before that, Andrew received stitches on his mouth after being attacked on the street by six men. And in 2009, ex-girlfriend Kristi Parrales accused him of throwing her into a wall and slashing her tires (he denied her claims). His most recent trouble with the law came in May 2015 when Full Circle Venice, the spiritual center he co-created — yes, you read that right: Andrew started a New Age religion — was raided by undercover agents from the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control and busted for illegally selling kombucha. In 2016, he and girlfriend Arista Ilona welcomed daughter Aiya Rose.
Mario Lopez aka A.C. Slater was everyone's favorite wrestler who heated up Bayside High all through the '90s on "Saved By the Bell."
Mario Lopez stayed in the spotlight after his "Saved By the Bell" days but transitioned from acting to hosting. From "America's Best Dance Crew" to a season of "The X Factor," Mario honed his hosting chops on reality television and now has a regular gig on the nightly entertainment show "Extra." He wed model Ali Landry in 2004, but the marriage was annulled two weeks later. He went on to find love with Broadway dancer Courtney Mazza, whom he married in 2012. They have two children together.
We had to include our favorite primetime pouter in this list: James Van Der Beek. Oh, Dawson Leery, how we loved your dreamy hair flips and all that drama! Heck, we even ignored this "Dawson's Creek" star's ugly crying. He tried to break out of his TV persona by dying his hair for 1999's "Varsity Blues" and playing bad boy Sean Bateman in 2002's "The Rules of Attraction," but James remained stuck up the creek.
While James Van Der Beek's career hasn't eclipsed "Dawson's Creek," the actor has never taken his former teen heartthrob status seriously. He's parodied himself on his own website as well as on Funny or Die and took it to a whole new level on the ABC sitcom "Don't Trust the B—- in Apartment 23," where he played an over-the-top version of himself from 2012 to 2013. James has been married twice: From 2003 to 2010, he was wed to actress Heather McComb. He married his current wife, business consultant Kimberly Brook, in 2010. The couple have four kids. James most recently starred on the CBS series "CSI: Cyber."
Of the three "Home Improvement" boys, Jonathan Taylor Thomas was the most crush-worthy. Aside from his stint on the sitcom, the actor — and his adorable dimples — broke into movies, starring in "Tom and Huck" and "Wild America." He also voiced young Simba in "The Lion King."
After "Home Improvement," Jonathan Taylor Thomas continued to take on small parts on TV shows but soon left Hollywood behind to attend college. (Going by his legal name, Jonathan Weiss, helped him in that endeavor.) JTT– who in 2000 denied widespread speculation that he's gay — was at Harvard from 2000 to 2002, spent a semester abroad in Scotland, and finally graduated from Columbia University in 2010. More recently, he returned to acting with a role on his old TV dad Tim Allen's ABC series "Last Man Standing."
Nick Lachey, Justin Jeffre, Jeff Timmons and Drew Lachey might not have been the first — or the most successful — boy band of the '90s, but didn't the 98 Degrees crooners look snazzy in their matching red-and-white outfits back in the day?
The guys of 98 Degrees reunited on stage at the MixTape music festival in Hershey, Pennsylvania, in August 2012. A year later, they released a new album titled "2.0" and signed on to 2013's "The Package" tour alongside Boyz II Men and New Kids on the Block. They were on the My2K Tour in 2016. When it comes to the men's personal lives, there are plenty of updates: Nick Lachey married Vanessa Minnillo in 2011 and went on to have three kids with the former MTV VJ. Brother Drew Lachey has been married to Lea Dellecave since 2000 and together, they also have two kids. Drew also took home the Mirrorball trophy on Season 2 of "Dancing With the Stars." Jeff Timmons did a stint with the Chippendales male stripper show at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas in 2011. Jeff shares custody of his two children with his ex-wife. Justin Jeffre became a political activist and blogger for The Cincinnati Beacon. He was arrested at the Occupy Cincinnati protest in October 2011, and nowadays you can keep up with his whereabouts via his Twitter account.
Skeet Ulrich (born Bryan Ray Trout) had a huge year in 1996: He starred in teen flicks "The Craft" and "Scream." The following year, he had a small role in the Oscar-nominated movie "As Good as It Gets."
In 1997, Skeet Ulrich married British actress Georgina Cates on their farmland in Virginia; the only attendees were the preacher and their dogs. The couple's twins — son Jakob and daughter Naiia — were born in 2001. But things went awry, and they split in 2005, citing irreconcilable differences in divorce papers. Skeet later married actress Amelia Jackson-Gray, whom he divorced in 2015. He's now reportedly engaged to model Rosa Costa, who has a young son with ex James Marsden. One of his last starring roles was in "Law & Order: LA," but his character was killed off after nine episodes. His latest project is playing Jughead's dad on The CW's "Riverdale."
Eric Nies is one of the pioneers of reality television. After getting his start as a cast member on the first season of "The Real World," the ripped — and often shirtless — star continued on with MTV as host of "The Grind."
In 2006, Eric Nies was inducted into the Television and Broadcasters Hall of Fame for his pioneering work in reality television. But that didn't keep his career afloat. Three years later, he tried to regain his former fame by appearing on "Confessions of a Teen Idol." Eric also developed a superfoods detox program called The Beauty Way and advocates for better labeling of genetically modified foods. He's reportedly married with one child.
Mark-Paul Gosselaar played the resident heartthrob on "Saved by the Bell," Zack Morris: the guy who all the guys wanted to be and all the girls wanted to date.
Mark-Paul Gosselaar married Lisa Ann Russell, whom he met when she was an extra on "Saved by the Bell: The College Years," in August 1996. They had two kids and divorced in 2010. In August 2011, the actor announced his engagement to advertising executive Catriona McGinn, whom he married in July 2012. They now have two children. Mark-Paul's most most recent big roles were starring as Peter Bash on TNT's comedic legal procedural "Franklin & Bash" from 2011 to 2014 and as a veteran MLB catcher on FOX's buzzy drama "Pitch" starting in 2016.
Edward Furlong shot to stardom in 1991 when he appeared as John Connor in "Terminator 2: Judgment Day." He also starred in Aerosmith's 1993 music video for "Livin' on the Edge." Off-screen, Edward was no stranger to scandal. He began dating his 29-year-old tutor, Jacqueline Domac, when he was 14, and they remained a couple until 1998. When they broke up, she alleged that he'd physically assaulted her and sued him for 15 percent of his earnings.
Edward Furlong has struggled with drug and alcohol addiction through the years and has been in and out of rehab. In 2001, he was arrested twice in the same day — first for driving without a license and later for a DUI. Three years later, Edward was arrested for public intoxication in Florence, Kentucky, after pulling lobsters from a grocery store water tank. In 2006, Edward married actress Rachael Kneeland and their son, Ethan, was born five months later. Rachael filed for divorce in 2009, citing irreconcilable differences, and that October, she filed a restraining order against the actor. In 2011, Edward was jailed for violating the restraining order and ordered to pay $15,000 in back child support, despite his claims that he was broke. Amid all the chaos, Edward has continued acting, mostly on small movies and on television, though his biggest role in recent years was back in 2011 in "The Green Hornet."
We first wanted to tackle this Canadian actor when he starred as Junior Floyd in 1994's "Little Giants." Lucky for us, Devon Sawa continued to grace the big screen throughout the '90s.
Devon Sawa has had his fair share of run-ins with the law after life as a '90s heartthrob, including a 2000 public intoxication arrest, a 2003 DUI charge and a strange incident in 2005, when a SWAT team was called after he allegedly beat up his girlfriend. The actor settled down in 2010, marrying Dawni Sahanovitch, with whom he had a son in 2014. In his professional life, Devon's last big project was The CW's "Nikita" from 2010 to 2013. In the summer of 2017, he'll star alongside Paula Patton on ABC's "Somewhere Between," a thriller drama series with a supernatural twist.
Matthew Lawrence grew up as a child actor and transitioned into a '90s teen idol. But he learned how to be a heartthrob from one of the best — his older brother, Joey Lawrence. His '90s projects ranged from playing Robin Williams' son in "Mrs. Doubtfire" to co-starring with the other Lawrence boys on "Brotherly Love."
Matthew Lawrence (seen on the left here in 2016 with brothers Joey and Andrew) got engaged to actress Heidi Mueller in 2004, but the two split in 2006. He went on to date "Dancing With the Stars" pro Cheryl Burke from 2007 to 2008 — and in early 2017, they got back together! Though he's still working, Matthew's biggest projects since the '90s have been 2002's "The Hot Chick" and 2007's "The Comebacks."
Josh Hartnett hit the heartthrob scene in the late '90s when he starred in "The Faculty" and "The Virgin Suicides" (seen here).
Josh Hartnett has honed his acting chops over the last two decades on the big screen and in the theater. Josh also ventured behind the camera, producing a music video for artist Kid Cudi. His last big gig was starring on Showtime's "Penny Dreadful." In February 2017, Josh and girlfriend Tamsin Egerton revealed they're expecting their second child together.
Hanson's Isaac Hanson, Taylor Hanson and Zac Hanson penned "MMMBop," arguably the most infectious earworm of all time, before they even got their driver licenses. They were known for their wholesome image and dedication to Christian values.
All three brothers are now married with children! Isaac Hanson has three kids, Zac Hanson has four little ones, and Taylor Hanson has five children — putting the total crop of new Hansons in the double digits. But even though they all have their own full houses, they haven't left music behind. The Oklahoma-based brothers released their most recent album, "Anthem," in 2013 on their own label, 3CG Records. They last toured in 2015 and were back in the studio in early 2017.
Barry Watson's claim to fame is playing Matt, the eldest Camden child, on "7th Heaven." He also starred opposite Katie Holmes in 1999's "Teaching Mrs. Tingle."
In May 2002, Barry Watson was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma, which caused him to take a break from filming "7th Heaven" until April 2003, when he went into remission. At that time Barry also hit a rough patch in the romance department, splitting from his first wife, Laura Payne-Gabriel, in 2002. In 2006, he wed his former highschool classmate Tracy Hutson. They went on to have two sons but split in 2011. He's currently married to actress Natasha Gregson Wagner, with whom he welcomed daughter Clover in 2012. Professionally, Barry's biggest recent roles include parts on "Murder in the First," "Masters of Sex" and "Hart of Dixie."
Rider Strong is best known for playing Cory Matthews' cool best friend Shawn Hunter on "Boy Meets World," a part he played for seven seasons.
After spending time at Occidental College, Rider Strong graduated magna cum laude from Columbia University in 2004 with a B.A. in English. He then went on to get an M.F.A. at Bennington College, graduating in June 2009. In 2013, he created Literary Disco, a literary podcast and blog, and he continues to act. The same year, he married actress Alexandra Barreto, with whom he welcomed his first child, son Indy, in 2014. Most recently, Rider reprised his role as Shawn Hunter on "Girl Meets World," the Disney Channel spinoff of his old show.
Jeremy Jackson scored a pretty plum role in the '90s: playing David Hasselhoff's son Hobie Buchannon on "Baywatch." What teen boy wouldn't want to be around all those babes in bathing suits day in and day out?
Jeremy Jackson has battled drug abuse issues since his time on "Baywatch." In 2009, he appeared on "Confessions of a Teen Idol," a VH1 reality series that chronicled former heartthrobs trying to regain their fame. Two years later, he was back for more reality TV, this time on "Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew," where he received treatment for steroid addiction. As for his personal life, Jeremy married longtime girlfriend Loni Willison in 2012, but the two separated in 2014.
From 1993 to 1999, Jonathan Jackson came into our living rooms nearly every afternoon as Lucky Spencer on "General Hospital." The adorable, musically gifted son of "GH" supercouple Luke and Laura landed his own romantic storyline in the late '90s when his character fell in love with Liz Webber.
Jonathan Jackson wed his former "General Hospital" co-star Lisa Vultaggio in June 2002. They have three children together. Jonathan won five Daytime Emmy Awards for his work on the daytime drama and has continued to act since leaving the show in 2011. He currently stars on the drama "Nashville."
Erik von Detten played Wally Cleaver in 1997's "Leave It to Beaver" movie and the title character in the Disney Channel Original Movie "Brink!" in the '90s.
Decades later, Erik still has his surfer-boy looks. Still, despite snagging numerous voice-over roles and parts on shows like the short-lived series "Dinotopia," he never really became a leading man. His last credited role was as the voice of Sid in 2010's "Toy Story 3." In 2016, he resurfaced to take his niece and nephew to the premiere of the Disney Channel Original Movie "Adventures In Babysitting."
For some of us, the solution to Joey Potter's love triangle problem was a no-brainer! Pick Pacey! Joshua Jackson brought lovable screwup Pacey Witter to life on "Dawson's Creek" in the '90s. He was Joey's true soul mate — and arguably one of the sweetest boyfriends in television history (he bought her a wall!). Even Katie Holmes wasn't immune to Joshua's charms, as the co-stars dated for two years during filming.
Joshua Jackson has maintained a successful acting career since playing Pacey Witter. He starred on the hit series "Fringe" on FOX from 2008 to 2013 and currently stars on the Showtime series "The Affair." Josh and his girlfriend of a decade, Diane Kruger, ended their relationship in 2016.
Zachery Ty Bryan might not have been the biggest pin-up from the "Home Improvement" cast, but he certainly still had plenty of admirers in the '90s. Although he played Jonathan Taylor Thomas' older brother Brad on the show, in real life, Zachery was one month younger than JTT!
"Home Improvement" remains Zachery Ty Bryan's biggest show to date, but he continued to work in Hollywood after his '90s heartthrob days. Zachery popped up on shows like "Veronica Mars," "Smallville" and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" in the '00s. More recently, Zachery has shifted gears and worked behind the camera as a producer. He married junior high sweetheart Carly Matros in 2007 and they welcomed twin girls Gemma and Taylor in June 2014. Daughter Jordana arrived in 2016.
