Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are 'very serious' following Paris trip: Report
Ah, springtime in Paris … Over the weekend, Katie Holmes flew to the City of Light to spend a few days with Jamie Foxx, who was wrapping up filming his 2018 "Robin Hood" film nearby. Although Jamie was working for much of the weekend, the pair got some quality time together at their hotel, the five-star Park Hyatt Vendome, according to Us Weekly. At one point, Katie stepped out with a driver to pick up some vacation reads. "I guess she was interested in [Ernest] Hemingway's Paris," said an insider, who reported Katie's driver picked up "A Moveable Feast" and "A Farewell to Arms" as well as "The Old Man and the Sea" for the actress at the used English book shop, San Francisco Book Company on Rue Monsieur-le-Prince. Katie also visited Jamie on set at Cité du Cinemas studio. "She didn't really mix with the other actors and crew," said a spy. "We were barely aware of her. There are always hundreds of people milling around, so it would have been pretty easy for her to keep a low profile." Sources are saying Jamie and Katie are "very serious" at this point and that after more than four years of secretive dating, they want to go public. "She's head over heels for him," says an insider, noting that while Katie "was super worried about the attention" when she first started dating Jamie, she's had a change of heart. "She's tired of playing this hiding game," says the source. Says another: "She gushes about how amazing he is. She says she loves him from the tips of her toes to the top of her head."

Elle King's husband booked with domestic violence before split
The relationship between Elle King and her recent ex, Andrew Ferguson was apparently more dangerous than many realized. A few weeks before the singer's split, Andrew was arrested for felony domestic violence, according to TMZ. It seems Elle and Andrew got into a fight in late April in which Andrew "grabbed [Elle] by the throat with both hands, tossed her on a bed … and said, 'I'm gonna f—— kill you," TMZ reports. Police later noted Elle had scratches and marks on her neck and arm. Despite Andrew's allegedly violent outburst, Elle did not press charges. The D.A. subsequently dropped the case.

Taylor Swift's alleged stalker indicted
Yikes. A man was indicted this week for loitering outside Taylor Swift's New York penthouse apartment for three months straight. The New York Post reports Mohammad Jaffar began hanging around Taylor's building trying to contact her in December 2016 and continued to do so into early 2017. He reportedly snuck onto the roof of the condo at one point. Another time, he was spotted ringing her doorbell for a solid hour. He also allegedly called Taylor's manager 59 times demanding to contact the singer before he was arrested in March on burglary and stalking charges, according to the Post. He was not present for the hearing and is currently being held on $20,000 bond. In November, another stalker was busted for violating a restraining order Taylor has against him.
Kim Kardashian 'startled' by 'overeager' fan
With Kim Kardashian West's security team working extra hard to protect her after she was robbed at gunpoint, there's no love lost for fans who get too close to Kim at public appearances. That didn't stop a man described as "sketchy" from approaching Kim on the red carpet at NBC's Upfront Presentation in New York on Monday, May 15. "He just breezed past the guard and got in Kim's face," a source told the New York Post. "Kim was startled and tried to walk away but got stuck, so [she] hesitantly took a picture." Although one insider called the guy's selfie ambush a "security scare," another said he was simply "overeager."
Bethenny Frankel's NBC Upfront invite angers Bravo stars
Why was Bethenny Frankel the only Bravo reality TV cast member invited to NBC's Upfront presentation this week? That's what some stars from "Vanderpump Rules" and "Below Deck" are asking, according to the New York Post. Although a network insider told the tab Bethenny was there to pitch a real estate show — not to represent "Real Housewives" — her invitation irritated multiple cast members from other shows. "The cast members all want to go to hobnob at the upfronts. They always feel insulted if the networks don't want to parade them out in front of the advertisers," says a source. "Another sore spot is if they hear their castmates are invited and they aren't. I've witnessed that with [various shows]. Those on the West Coast love being flown in and put up at swanky hotels by the networks." Andy Cohen was apparently the only other star from Bravo's reality shows who made an appearance at the annual event. Reps for Bravo and Bethenny either declined to comment or did not respond to the Post's request for a statement.
Kathie Lee Gifford explains how she 'fell in love' with Hoda Kotb
The love between Hoda Kotb and her "Today" BFF Kathie Lee Gifford wasn't immediate. "We didn't have the chemistry for the first year," Kathie Lee told E! News this week at the Boozeday Tuesday event in New York, "We did have the chemistry when we first sat down, when I first met her and we had lunch because I was sitting with the real, authentic, unbelievably fascinating Hoda. I said, 'You know Hoda, if you could be the same person on camera as the girl I had lunch with, we could have a good show,'" she continued. "As we worked together a little bit more, she got rid of the IFB in her ear, she got rid of all of her notes and just started talking and sharing life. You start sharing life and you start falling in love with the person. You become real, genuine friends." Kathie Lee went on to say she ended up staying at "Today" for nine years because she had such strong feelings about Hoda and the rest of the staff. "I just remember when it was time to talk to NBC about staying or not, I remember thinking, 'Oh, I like starting my days with Hoda," Kathie Lee said, "The same way I liked starting my days with Regis Philbin."
Chris Soules files not guilty plea
Former "Bachelor" star Chris Soules won't appear in court anytime soon to deal with the car accident that left one man dead. TMZ reports Chris pleaded not guilty in a written plea filed on Tuesday, May 16. The plea — a response to one charge of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death — means Chris no longer has the right to be arraigned in open court, according to the website. Earlier this month, prosecutors claimed Chris bought alcohol before he hit a man who was driving a tractor in Iowa. This week, a judge dismissed a motion to drop the felony charge against the reality TV star.
Brad Pitt and Stephen Colbert ask the 'Big Questions'
We could all use some levity these days, especially Brad Pitt, who's given multiple interviews about his divorce from Angelina Jolie and custody negotiations regarding their six kids. Luckily, it was all about the fun stuff when Brad stopped by "The Late Show" to chat with Stephen on Tuesday, May 16. In a segment called "Big Questions With Even Bigger Stars" (via E! News), the pals lay back and stared up at the sky. "Hey Stevie-C, Do you think mathematics are the underlying structure of the universe, or did we just invent it?" Brad asked. "Whoa. Blew my mind, Brad," Stephen replied. "I'm not sure if numbers are the underlying reality. But one thing is absolutely true: You're a solid eight." A giggling Brad offered, "You're sweet, thanks, thanks," in response. Later, Stephen asked, "Is it possible to describe infinity?" Brad had the perfect response: "Yes. Yes, it is," the actor said. "It's one less than the number of 'Ocean's' sequels we're going to make." Badum-ching!
Abby Lee Miller: Former dance moms laughed at me at my hearing
When "Dance Moms" star Abby Lee Miller appeared in court May 9 to face bankruptcy fraud charges, some of the mothers of her former students were there, sitting in the back of the courtroom. They weren't there to support her, though. Abby, who was sentenced to a year behind bars, tells InTouch Kelly Hyland, Christi Lukasiak, Dawn Check and Diane Pent "were laughing at me," when they showed up at her hearing. The same day, the women posted a photo of their champagne toast on Instagram, along with the caption, "Who is the happiest???" Abby Lee, meanwhile, is distraught over the prospect of going to jail. "I just keep thinking I'm going to wake up and it'll all have been a nightmare, that someone is going to see the light and say, 'They went after the wrong person,'" she says. "I'm not as strong as I may appear on TV."
