It's almost time for another rose ceremony! The 14th season of "The Bachelorette" premieres on May 28, 2018, and Wonderwall.com is catching up with its star, Becca Kufrin. The lovely lady got her heart broken on the last season of "The Bachelor" but is once again ready for love. In celebration of her upcoming season, we're brushing up on all things Becca, starting with her Midwest roots. 4. She has no desire to be a reality TV star
Becca Kufrin hopes that, after she finds love on "The Bachelorette," she can go back to living a normal life. "At the end of the day… I love my career and I love having the drive to wake up and go to work every day. So I still always want that," Becca told Us Weekly. "I still want to try to get back to my life as normal as possible and eventually start a family, have children and have a career, have my partner have his own career, everything. I don't want this to change me too much. I still want to be the same old Becca that I was at the beginning."
5. She inspired political action
After "The Bachelor" star Arie Luyendyk Jr. dumped fiance Becca Kufrin as cameras rolled so that he could propose to his rejected runner-up, Lauren Bunham, people were outraged. One U.S. representative from Becca's home state of Minnesota was so upset that he offered to propose legislation banning Arie from the state! "If this gets a thousand retweets I'll author a bill banning Arie from Minnesota. #TheBachelor #PriorLakeLakers," State Rep. Drew Christensen tweeted after the shocking finale.
6. She's forgiven Arie for breaking her heart
The world might still be upset about her getting dumped but Becca Kufrin is over it! She managed to do what many of us cannot and forgave her ex, Arie Luyendyk Jr. "He's a good person. I don't think he's a monster and purposely did this to hurt me and make me feel this way. But it's just the result of his actions," Becca told People magazine. "At the end of the day, I don't think he thought through everything of how ending things with Lauren would be, how being engaged to me would be and what breaking up with me and going back to her would be. I don't think he thought it through, but I don't think he did it maliciously to break my heart."
7. She has three tattoos
Becca Kufrin might look like America's Sweetheart, but the Midwest girl had dabbled on the wild side. She has three tattoos — one on her right foot, one on her right wrist and one on her hand.
8. She loves "Sister Act 2"
Becca Kufrin absolutely loves "Sister Act 2." She list the Whoopi Goldberg flick as one of her favorite movies (along with "Gladiator" and "Pitch Perfect") and listens to the soundtrack all the time. "I don't think it's embarrassing at all, but my friends disagree," she told ABC of her obsession.
9. She's super-close with her family
Becca Kufrin is very close to her family, especially big sister Emily. "The Bachelorette" star will serve as her sister's maid of honor at her wedding in September. "Emily is lucky enough to not only call Becca her sister, but best friend as well, and is so honored to have her as maid of honor," Emily and fiance Robbie Kosmeder wrote on their wedding website. They also revealed one of Becca's special talents. "Fun Fact: Becca can beat online solitaire in 42 seconds!" the wedding website brags.
10. She has the perfect attributes to attract love
Becca Kufrin lists loyalty, honesty and charisma as her best attributes. All perfect ingredients for long-lasting love! "I still truly want to find what I wanted to find last year. It didn't work out, but I never wanted that to stop me from finding my partner and what my parents have and what my sister and her fiance have," Becca told Us Weekly. We're rooting for you, Becca!
