Meet the hosts of your 2019 Golden Globe Awards: Andy Samberg and Sandra Oh! Ever since the news was announced, we here at Wonderwall.com have been counting down the days until two of our favorite TV stars take the stage for hosting duties on Jan. 6, 2019. In honor of this awesome duo ruling the roost, let's check out some things you might not know about Andy and Sandra!

First up, did you know this won't be the first time Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg have shared the stage? No, they didn't co-star on a show together (we would know, because we would have have watched it if they did!), but they did present together at the 2018 Primetime Emmy Awards! The stars were tapped to announce the winner in the best director of a comedy series prize. What followed was a hilarious back and forth that involved Sandra ripping up the winner's envelope while presenting and even jokingly announcing that "La La Land" won, an allusion to that epically awkward misstep at the 2017 Academy Awards.

Andy Samberg owes his start to YouTube! Yep, long before he started performing on "Saturday Night Live," he was a YouTuber, creating things for his sketch-comedy site The Lonely Island. It's his work on the web that nabbed him an agent and eventually landed him a sweet gig on "Saturday Night Live."

Sandra Oh is Canadian! Her parents actually settled in Canada after leaving South Korea in the early '60s. She was born in Ottawa, where her father was a businessman and her mother was a biochemist. She also has a brother, Ray, and a sister, Grace. Sandra remains close to her family and even brought along mom Young-Nam Oh to the 2018 Primetime Emmys!

Hosting is not a new gig for Andy Samberg. His first job running a show? That came back in 2009 when he hosted the MTV Movie Awards. He more recently hosted the 2015 Primetime Emmy Awards.

Sandra Oh's first big American flick? That was "Under the Tuscan Sun" in 2003. After honing her skills in Canadian films and garnering critical acclaim for her performance on the HBO series "Arli$$" from 1996 to 2002, Sandra was cast in a supporting role in the popular Diane Lane flick. She followed that up with a supporting role in the Academy Award-winning film "Sideways."

It might surprise you to hear, but Andy Samberg was once a groupie. He was a big fan of the music performed by his future wife, Joanna Newsom, before going to one of her concerts, where he eventually met her in 2008. Fortunately for Andy, Joanna was interested — the two started dating and were engaged five years later.

Sandra Oh does a great job keeping her personal life private. In the early '00s, she was married to director Alexander Payne, who actually directed her in "Sideways." After they split in 2006, Sandra kept the details quiet and from then on kept her next relationship even quieter. The star has been linked to musician Andrew Featherston, a member of the band The Hereafter, for years, but don't expect to see photos of the duo on the red carpet. They've kept an incredibly low profile despite their nearly 11-year-long relationship.

Andy Samberg attended not one but two pretty impressive colleges during his undergraduate career. He started out the University of California, Santa Cruz, before transferring after two years to New York University's Tisch School for the Arts.

Sandra Oh is the only one in her family without a master's degree. The star rejected a scholarship to study journalism at Carleton University in order to pursue her dream — acting. She instead attended and graduated from the National Theatre School of Canada. (And we think she's doing alright sans that extra degree!)

Andy Samberg's house is a part of Hollywood history. The star lives with wife Joanna Newsom in Charlie Chaplin's old home. They bought the Hollywood Hills mansion in 2014 for $6.25 million.

Sandra Oh might not have a master's degree, but she's no slouch in the learning department! She's fluent in four languages — English, French, Korean and Spanish. Wow!

Halfway to EGOT?! In 2014, Andy Samberg won a Golden Globe Award for best actor in a TV musical or comedy series thanks to his work on "Brooklyn Nine-Nine." He'd already picked up a Primetime Emmy Award for best original music and lyrics back in 2007 for the "Saturday Night Live" sketch "D— in a Box." And he nearly won a Grammy when he earned a nomination for best rap/sung collaboration for his 2009 track "I'm on a Boat" with The Lonely Island and T-Pain.

We all know Sandra Oh's most famous role — Dr. Cristina Yang on "Grey's Anatomy." Sandra played the beloved physician from 2005 to 2014. But did you know how many accolades she picked up for the part? Five Primetime Emmy nominations, a Golden Globe for best supporting actress and three Screen Actors Guild Awards — one for outstanding performance by a female actor in a drama series and two, along with her castmates, for outstanding performance by an ensemble in a drama series.

Did you know Andy Samberg is a dad? Yep, the comedian and wife Joanna Newsom welcomed a daughter in 2017 — and no one even knew they were expecting. They've kept her name private.

Sandra Oh is making history as the first Asian actress to host the Golden Globes, but that's not the only record she's setting. In 2018, she also became the first woman of Asian descent to ever be nominated for best leading actress in a drama series, all thanks to her performance on the hit show "Killing Eve."
