Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at the stars of "Game of Thrones" and how they've changed over the years. In honor of the eighth and final season's premiere on HBO on April 14, 2019, keep reading to see how Emilia Clarke (seen here back during Season 1 as Daenerys Targaryen), Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey and many more members of the fantasy-drama's cast have switched things up in their careers and personal lives since the show debuted back in April 2011…

Peter Dinklage is now an award-winning actor. Though he made his feature-film debut back in 1995, it wasn't until "Game of Thrones" started airing that Peter finally earned mainstream recognition for his talent. He's taken home two Emmys (and earned five more nominations) and a Golden Globe Award for his portrayal of Tyrion Lannister on "GoT." In 2019, he'll star in "The Angry Birds Movie 2." Peter and his wife, Erica Schmidt, welcomed their first child, a daughter, the same year the HBO series debuted. Their second child was born in 2017.

Lena Headey stars as Cersei Lannister on "Game of Thrones." She's seen here in 2012.

Lena Headey made her feature-film debut in 1992 but it's "Game of Thrones" that made her a star. She's earned four Emmy nominations and one Golden Globe nomination for her portrayal of Cersei Lannister on the hit HBO series. In 2019, she'll star in "The Flood." The same year "GoT" debuted, the natural brunette beauty separated from musician Peter Loughran, the father of her son, Wylie, after four years of marriage. They settled their divorce in late 2013 following a heated custody battle. She reportedly moved on with not one but two "GoT" co-stars: Jerome Flynn (Bronn) and Pedro Pascal (Oberyn Martell). In 2014, the Telegraph reported that Lena and Jerome's breakup was so bad that members of the crew were forced to keep the co-stars apart on set. In 2015, the "300" alum welcomed a daughter, Teddy, whose father she at first declined to reveal publicly. In 2017, she got engaged to childhood friend Dan Cadan, a director, and revealed that he's Teddy's father. The couple wed in 2018.

Emilia Clarke made her major Hollywood debut on "Game of Thrones," for which she's earned three Emmy nominations since 2013. Her performance as Daenerys Targaryen aka Khaleesi on the hit HBO series helped her win roles in "Terminator Genisys" and "Me Before You" — and introduced her to stars like Seth MacFarlane, whom she briefly romanced in 2012, and Jai Courtney, to whom she was linked in 2015. She was linked to film director Charlie McDowell in 2018, but the couple reportedly called it quits in February 2019. In 2019, she'll star in the romantic comedy "Last Christmas."

Kit Harington stars as Jon Snow on "Game of Thrones."

Kit Harington made his acting debut in 2011 with "Game of Thrones." Since then, he's earned one Emmy nomination for his portrayal of Jon Snow and won roles in films like "Silent Hill: Revelation," "Pompeii," "Seventh Son" and "Brimstone" — none of which managed to make an impact at the box office. Kit found film success in 2013 when he began voicing the character of Eret in the "How to Train Your Dragon" franchise. He most recently lent his voice to 2019's "How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World." The English actor found love on the "GoT" set: He and actress Rose Leslie (Ygritte) have been together, save for a brief breakup, since not long after they first played on-screen lovers. In mid-2017, Kit revealed that they'd moved in together; they got engaged that September. They married in June 2018 in front of family, friends and their "Thrones" co-stars in Rose's native Scotland.

Sophie Turner stars as Sansa Stark on "Game of Thrones."

Sophie Turner made her acting debut in 2011 with "Game of Thrones." Since then, she's appeared in several feature films including 2016's "X-Men: Apocalypse." In 2019, she'll star as Jean Gray in "Dark Phoenix." The English actress, who was once linked to The Vamps guitarist James McVey, has been happily coupled up with Joe Jonas since late 2016. The couple got engaged in October 2017 and are planning to wed in the summer of 2019.

Maisie Williams made her acting debut in 2011 with "Game of Thrones." She scored an Emmy nomination in 2016 for her performance as Arya Stark on the hit HBO series, made her feature-film debut with 2013's "Heatstroke" and had a four-episode stint on "Doctor Who" in 2015. The English actress had been dating a childhood pal, Ollie Jackson, since around 2015, but in 2019 was spotted holding hands with communications director Reuben Selby, leading to rumors she may have a new beau.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau stars as Jaime Lannister on "Game of Thrones." He's seen here during Season 1 in 2011.

Though Nikolaj Coster-Waldau has been acting since the early '90s, it wasn't until he debuted as Jaime Lannister on "Game of Thrones" that he achieved Hollywood heartthrob status. Since then, he's starred in a wide range of feature films from "Mama" and "Oblivion" to "The Other Woman" and "Gods of Egypt." Next up, Nikolaj will star as Macbeth in a 2019 production of Shakespeare's tragedy at the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles. He and his wife — Greenlandic actress, singer and beauty queen Nukâka — have two daughters.

Iain Glen stars as Jorah Mormont on "Game of Thrones." He's seen here in 2014.

Iain Glen was one of the more established members of the cast when "Game of Thrones" debuted in 2011. The Scottish actor — whose biggest pre-"GoT" hits include "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider," "Kingdom of Heaven" and two installments in the "Resident Evil" franchise — has since appeared in "The Iron Lady," "Kick-Ass 2" and "My Cousin Rachel." Iain and his longtime partner, actress Charlotte Emmerson, reportedly welcomed their second daughter, Juliet, in 2012. In addition to their first daughter, Mary, the actor has a son, Finlay, from his first marriage to actress Susannah Harker.

Alfie Allen had already appeared in "Elizabeth," "Atonement" and "The Other Boleyn Girl" when "Game of Thrones" debuted. Since, the British former child actor — whose sister is pop star Lily Allen — has acted in other films such as 2014's "John Wick" and 2018's "The Predator." Alfie was first spotted packing on the PDA with DJ, model and fashion designer Allie Teilz while vacationing in Spain in June 2017. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter, in October 2018.

"Game of Thrones" marked Gwendoline Christie's major Hollywood debut. Since she joined the cast of the HBO series in 2012, the English actress has appeared in severl big movies including "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2," "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" and "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" as well as on the second season of "Top of the Lake." Next up, she'll appear in "The Personal History of David Copperfield." Gwendoline and designer Giles Deacon have been an item since early 2013.

Aidan Gillen stars as Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish on "Game of Thrones."

Aidan Gillen has been acting since the '80s and was already well known for his work on "The Wire" when "Game of Thrones" debuted. He's since appeared in projects including "Calvary," "Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials," "The Lovers," "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword," "Peaky Blinders" and "Bohemian Rhapsody." In 2019, Aidan will star in "Project Blue Book." The Irish actor split from wife Olivia O'Flanagan, the mother of his two children, in 2014. He and singer Camille O'Sullivan have been an item since 2015.

Kristofer Hivju stars as Tormund Giantsbane on "Game of Thrones."

Two years after he made his Hollywood debut in 2011's "The Thing," Kristofer Hivju joined the cast of "Game of Thrones" as Tormund Giantsbane. He's since appeared in "After Earth" and "The Fate of the Furious." In 2019, Kristofer will star in the movie comedy "Downhill" and the TV drama "Twin." In August 2015, the Norwegian actor wed longtime partner Gry Molvær, a TV host and documentary director. She's the mother of his two daughters.

Carice van Houten stars as Melisandre on "Game of Thrones." She's seen here in 2012.

Carice van Houten had already worked alongside some of Hollywood's biggest stars — like Tom Cruise in "Valkyrie" and Jude Law in "Repo Men" — when she joined the cast of "Game of Thrones" in 2012. She's since appeared in "The Fifth Estate," "Race," "Brimstone" and "Incarnate." In 2015, the Dutch singer-actress and Dutch director Kees van Nieuwkerk called it quits after two years as a couple. She moved on with Australian actor Guy Pearce just a few months after his wife of almost 20 years ended their marriage in early 2015. In 2016, the "Brimstone" co-stars welcomed a baby boy, Monte.
