Love for Teresa
As Teresa made her way back to her home in New Jersey early on Dec. 23, her famous pals hopped on social media to wish her well after nearly a year in prison. "This morning I'm thinking about how much I love @amyschumer & how happy I am about @Teresa_Giudice coming home for Christmas #RandomThoughts," tweeted Kyle Richards, according to Us. Hitting up Facebook, Tamra Judge wrote, "I can't believe its been a year already. No surprise here
When Bill Cosby sued Beverly Johnson for defamation, the former supermodel — one of more than 50 women who claim the comic drugged and sexually assaulted them — was prepared for it. "She expected this to happen," a pal told the New York Post. "She didn't seem upset [with the news], but I think she's prepared to counter-sue." The insider also points out that Beverly's allegations aren't new, noting that "she had put this in her book before [all the Cosby controversy] happened … She has been very calm and wants to move on. She likes to move forward."
Best dressed duo
The end of the year means list after list of superlatives, and Benedict Cumberbatch and his wife, Sophie Hunter are topping this one: The Red Carpet Awards (via Celebitchy) have named the stylish pair the Best Dressed Couple of 2015. The new dad also got some love from voters as one of the most stylish men in the U.K.; he shares third place with Daniel Craig, just behind top-seeded David Beckham and runner-up Idris Elba.
Off the market
Congratulations are in order for "Glee" alum Max Adler and Jennifer Bronstein, who said "I do" on Dec. 21 in Hollywood, Calif. "The wedding was a very intimate affair of 75 of their closest friends and family," said an insider, according to JustJared. "Despite the rain, everyone had a great time." Max popped the question to Jennifer back in 2012 during a vacation in Rome.
Impromptu comedy
Is there anything Amy Schumer can't do? During a pit stop in St. Louis recently, she stopped by Jazz at the Bistro, a well-known jazz club, and when the stage was free, she jumped up and grabbed the mic to give the audience a quick dose of standup, according to a video posted by TMZ. Before wrapping up her impromptu performance she also took a seat behind the drumkit and proceeded to rock out. Amy, you can join our band anytime …
'Less fear'
Renee Zellwegger's been dealing with more criticism than most over tweaks she's made to her face lately. But as she recently told EW, there's a bright side to the situation. "What good comes from knowing that something like that happened? Less fear," she said, according to the Daily Mail. "All that I know about is what friends and associates would send in texts and emails. They were sending support, which means that I must have needed it, and I prefer it that way. So when people come up to me to ask 'How did that feel?' I don't know, and I like it like that. I don't know. I know it sounds pretty unlikely that a person might be able to make herself, I guess, keep clear of those words or of that experience, but I have and it takes effort. But I have succeeded."
