Kanye West seems to be brushing off a jab that Jennifer Aniston threw his way last week while voting in the 2020 election.
On Oct. 23, the "Friends" star said she voted for Joe Biden.
"This whole thing isn't about one candidate or one single issue," she said. "It's about the future of this country and of the world. Vote for equal human rights, for love, and for decency."
In her parting shot, she added, "PS – It's not funny to vote for Kanye. I don't know how else to say it. Please be responsible."
Kanye clearly caught wind of the shade. In a since-deleted Instagram post, the rapper shared a screenshot of an article titled, "Jennifer Aniston Endorses Joe Biden, Tells Fans 'It's Not Funny to Vote for Kanye.'" E! News said Kanye wrote alongside the screenshot, "Wow 😳 that Rogan interview got em shook Let's gooooooooo."
The "Rogan interview" that Kanye is likely referring to is his recent chat on Joe Rogan's podcast. In that chat, he urged people to write his name in, as he's only on the ballot in a few states, making it essentially impossible to win 270 electoral votes.
"There couldn't be a better time to put a visionary in the captain's chair. I'm not here to down [Donald] Trump or down [Joe] Biden, I'm just here to express why God has called me to take this position," he said. "I'm a great leader because I listen and I'm empathetic. I do believe in world peace."
Since his decision to run for President, there's been much talk that the bid is nothing more than a ploy to get President Trump reelected, as most political experts believe Kanye's candidacy would siphon votes away from Joe Biden. When Forbes asked him about the theory that he's in the race to be a spoiler on behalf of Trump, Kanye said, "I'm not going to argue with you."
