The Billboard Music Awards are here! The trophies were handed out to some of our favorite names in music on Oct. 14, 2020, so now it's time for Wonderwall.com to round up the night's fashion! First up, the host of the evening — Kelly Clarkson. While we loved her emcee skills, we weren't wild about this sparkly silver number. From the all-over shine to the fringed sleeves and hemline to the black bustier underneath, this frock fell flat for us. Keep reading to see more of the best and worst fashion of the night…

We got a better look at this one when Nicole Richie presented an award during the ceremony. With its single sleeve and asymmetrical neckline, her gorgeous gown incorporated ruffled embellishments, cut-outs at the waist and plenty of sheer fabric for an equally pretty and edgy vibe.

What's going on here, Julia Michaels? The singer rocked a whole lot of tulle on top in the form of this insane cream confection and paired the frilly item with black pants and shiny boots — a serious fashion miss.
Does it get cooler than Lil Nas X? The star arrived in this killer pale green snakeskin Gucci getup, which featured unexpected hot pink accents that took the suit to the next level.
Gorgeous! Brandy opted for this high-necked knee-length gown in a bold multicolored print. It included wide sleeves and a thick belt detail at the waist. Her performance look, however, was a different story…
We're not quite sure where to start with Brandy's performance look. She donned this funky outfit — comprised of a cream top with strange draped details, a matching duster coat over top, baggy black pants and a pair of white ankle boots.
Sia can always be counted upon for an over-the-top fashion moment! Her Billboard Music Awards getup was no exception — the star rocked this pretty candy pink cape made of silk taffeta for the occasion. It included dramatic puffy sleeves and an oversized bow detail at the neckline and sat atop a yellow chiffon gown, all by Dolce&Gabbana. Next up? A look at her headpiece…
Now that's a hair bow! Sia donned this massive yellow silk Dolce&Gabbana bow atop her head during her performance.
It was all a subtle floral camouflage print for Billie Eilish! We're used to the star's quirky fashion by now, and we were impressed by the all-over matching, from the bucket hat to her collared and buttoned long-sleeved top and wide-legged pants.
Jane Lynch kept things a little too casual. The actress arrived in a buttoned-up blouse, white suit jacket, black trousers and boots — a very ordinary ensemble that didn't feel right for an award show.
Lizzo made a serious fashion statement at the Billboard Music Awards! The superstar rocked this black-and-white minidress with the word "Vote" written all over it, delivering a powerful message while accepting her award.
Jharrel Jerome gave us an optical illusion on the black carpet — are his pants silver or black? The star donned dual-toned trousers with a busy printed jacket and black sneakers for a low key — yet visually interesting! — look.
Looking fab, Cher! The iconic singer arrived in this black two-piece set — a long-sleeved crop top and a miniskirt — embellished with plenty of silver sequins, and finished her look with tights and black sandals.
We're used to Kane Brown looking sharp on the black carpet, but this outfit was an instant miss. We're weren't into that wild shirt, or the casual way he paired it with dark jeans and boots.
When it comes to fashion, Garth Brooks is dependable! The country star rocked double denim — a dark shirt and blue jeans with boots — when he collected his trophy.
Yikes! Doja Cat went for the overdone sheer trend in this long-sleeved jumpsuit with strategically placed jewels and sequins. Though it gave us some nostalgia — Britney Spears' iconic "Oops! I Did It Again" performance costume vibes — it ultimately missed the mark.
Ty Dolla Sign is another star who kept things seriously casual on the carpet. But despite his less dressy getup, we were fans of this fit. He rocked a flannel-inspired cardigan over top a white T-shirt, white jeans and Vans sneakers.
Stephen "tWitch" Boss kept things fresh in this casual yet cool ensemble. He rocked a graphic T-shirt, leather jacket, black pants and stark white sneakers and then topped everything off with a black velvet hat.
Though we loved the top half of Allison Holker's black velvet blazer-style frock, it lost us when it transitioned into sheer lace from mid-thigh down.
Swae Lee looked sharp in this black-and-white getup comprised of a black turtleneck with white designs, black trousers and shiny black boots.
