Since 2015, the Latin American Music Awards have celebrated the best in Latin music. Musicians at every award show love to go all out with their fashion and the LAMAs are no exception. In honor of the show, Wonderwall.com is looking at the chicest outfits — and the craziest — starting with Becky G, who was nominated for a number of Latin American Music Awards, including Favorite Female Artist. The diminutive musician looked fierce at the October 17 show, adding height to her look by showing off her legs and wearing strappy platform heels. The skirt on her dress added the perfect amount of flair for a big night out.

Reggaeton artist El Micha turned heads for the right reasons in his white tuxedo. He jazzed it up perfectly with a polka dotted bow tie and hat.

Telemundo star Cynthia Bague turned her injury into a message for good, and that we can get behind. Bague paired her black and gold slinky gown with a neck brace that said "Don't Text and Drive."

Cynthia Bague's important message was equally dazzling and noteworthy as her dress. Way to turn a negative into a positive!
Sofia Reyes Latin American Music Awards' look was confusing. The long gloves to match the dress? Unnecessary. The pink poofs under the Favorite Video nominee's armpits? Bizarre. And the blue, pointy shoes? A total mismatch.
A basic black gown won't often nab a celebrity a spot on a best dressed list, but Denise Rodriguez's frock is far from basic. Her glittery, long-sleeved, off the shoulder look dazzled and she looked like a million dollars.
Telemundo presenter Ana Jurka pushed the acceptable levels for sparkles in this long-sleeved dress. The deep color with the satin bow made it feel too winter-y for October in Southern California and the flashy dress, shoes, purse and jewels were just too much all together.
While Elle Woods would certainly give her seal of approval on Farina's pink cocktail dress, we can't. The fabric, the giant sleeves and the clashing pink hair made this look an eyesore.
Mexican TV host Carla Medina wanted to show off her incredible physique at the Latin American Music Awards but the look was too prom-inspired to be a hit. She would have been better off shortening her crop top, ditching the red lip and wearing her hair down.
Actress and former Miss Universe contestant Jacqueline Bracamontes brought haute couture to the Latin American Music Awards. With understated makeup and her hair pulled back, she let the embellishments on the top of her gown stand out and elevate her to the top of the best dressed list.
A teeny tiny dress and knee-high boots are a risk, and for Erin Lim, they were a risk that did not pay off. Erin continued to make fashion risks with her yellow-tinted glasses, which simply did not go with her ensemble.
While we could have done without the bump in Angelica Vale's hair, the rest of her look was pretty close to flawless. The 43-year-old looked beautiful in a midnight green dress with unique shoulder embellishments and gold woven throughout.
Wisin y Yandel, who were nominated for three awards including favorite duo or group, clearly wanted to stand out on the LAMAs red carpet and that they did in their unique suits. Wisin's pink and silver suit was a unique choice, but he made it work. And Yandel's brightly colored jacket, gold pants and purple boots sounded like an odd combination, but worked for the colorful event.
Jessica Cediel's dress was too lingerie-looking to be a hit. While the shoulder embellishment and dramatic slit could have made this more red carpet ready, it ended up just feeling like something from the Victoria's Secret fashion show.
Had Catriona Gray lost the puffy sleeves, the heavy necklace and the calf straps from her shoes, this look could have been saved. Instead, those three choices kept her from having a standout fashion moment.
This is not Lupita Infante's color. The singer tried to tone it down for the LAMAs red carpet, but instead failed to stand out, even with the ill-placed arm fringe, which seemed like a last minute addition to the dress that lacked logic.
Colombian actress Catherine Siachoque wore a literal work of art to the Latin American Music Awards. Catherine's dress and its endless embellishments made her dress a standout. She showed just the right amount of skin and tailored her hair and makeup appropriately, letting her dress be the natural hero of the evening.
Men have less options when they want to dress to impress on a big night out. Nacho set his sights on standing out, and succeeded, but the matching blazer and pants were too much in this loud, funky print. He would have been much better off losing the wallet chain, changing into a pair of black pants, and calling it a night.
