Music's biggest stars jetted over to Seville, Spain, for the 2019 MTV EMAs on Nov. 3. The red carpet was on fire, but not everyone was dressed to impress at the annual show. Wonderwall.com has all the best and worst looks of the night, starting with Halsey's. The "Bad at Love" singer was clad in some… er… interesting attire. Her floral wrap dress featured at least three separate fabrics, which sort of clashed together in an incredibly spectacular way.
Aside from Halsey's getup, the 25-year-old singer's makeup was also a bit out there. She donned matching eye shadow and lipstick, paired with some wild lashes that looked like they might have been left over from her Halloween costume.
Joan Smalls looked every bit the supermodel, showing off her bod in a gorgeous, high-slit silky pink skirt paired with an asymmetrical black crop-top. With bright red nails and a nude lip, she was the perfect combination of stylish and sexy.
Nicole Scherzinger went for a red-hot look. The former Pussycat Dolls singer donned a figure-skimming ruby-red sequined long-sleeved mini. Black patent stilettos and a nude lip and nude nail combination finished off the sleek and sexy look.
Dua Lipa's all-black bondage look didn't do her any favors. The interestingly layered ensemble included a sheer, long-sleeved top that exposed a black bra, a leather belt, a black garter and thigh-high boots.
However, we were super into Dua Lipa's hair and makeup look. The singer wore her blonde locks sleekly tied back into a tight bun and paired a subtle smokey eye with nude lips.
Niall Horan was definitely the best-dressed man on the red carpet. He looked so perfectly put together in a grey subtly-plaid suit and Gucci loafers.
Becky G was on fire in a red ruffled tulle number featuring a plunging neckline. She paired it with black boots and wore her dark hair sleekly straight and parted down the middle.
Instead of going the sexy-dress route, supermodel Doutzen Kroes rocked a fierce leather jumpsuit. She wore the riveted number belted, adding stiletto sandals and chandelier earrings to complete her look.
Whoever coined the term "real men don't wear pink" clearly never met Akon. The rapper seriously rocked a bright pink blazer with a white button-down shirt and pants, completing the fierce look with shimmering kicks and plenty of ice!
Paz Vega looked seriously stunning in a playful, sheer black balloon-sleeve mini that featured silver embroidered polka dots. The Spanish actress paired it with thigh-high black stiletto boots, a messy top bun and a bold red lip.
Model Leomie Anderson was a walking work of art, wearing a super-structured, abstract dress that felt like a cross between a blooming flower and a butterfly. While most humans probably couldn't pull off such an intense fashion piece, the Victoria's Secret Angel nailed it gorgeously. We love the addition of her gladiator stilettos and perfect ponytail as well.
Cristiano Ronaldo and longtime love Georgina Rodriguez both opted for bold hues. While the Spanish soccer star donned a bright red suit, his model girlfriend flaunted her curves in a figure-hugging cobalt-blue long-sleeved gown.
Apparently Jasmine Sokko didn't get the memo that Halloween was last week. The Singaporean singer wore a face mask that scarily resembled some sort of a gas mask with her long, gorgeously beaded and embroidered gown.
Jasmine Sokko's eccentric accessory completely covered up her mouth and nose. We can only assume it made it quite difficult to do red carpet interviews!
Israeli singer, actress and television host Noa Kirel really went with her psychedelic-style theme. Literally everything she wore — including her lipstick — was an iridescent shade of purple. From her structured minidress, which appeared to be made out of plastic, to her clunky purple boots, her blast-from-the-past (or to-the-future?) homage might have been taken a little too far.
You might want to take a closer look at Noa Kirel's clunky, funky footwear!
Maruv decided to take the PVC route and also added a little iridescence into the mix. The Ukrainian singer donned a catsuit, which covered every inch of her body, with Lady Gaga-style platform boots, an extremely wacky hat and a shimmery little dress over the whole thing.
Argentine singer and actress J Mena — aka Jimena Baron — channeled Britney Spears' early 2000s style with sparkly denim separates. Only the "La Cobra" singer took things next-level sexy — like way too sexy — by pairing her pants and off-the-shoulder jacket with a cobra inspired bejeweled bra.
J Mena's bejeweled bra barely covered up her assets!
