Adele and rumored new beau Skepta's fans are all about their rumored romance
"Are we looking at Adepta or Skedele?" That's what one portmanteau-obsessed music fan asked on Twitter this week amid reports Adele is dating British rapper Skepta. The user wasn't the only one on social media clamoring for confirmation of romance rumors about the music stars, either. "We ain't ready for the fire if Adele and Skepta do a collab," gushed another giddy Twitter user (via E! News). Adele just filed for divorce from her husband Simon Konecki two weeks ago, although they announced they'd split back in April. Skepta, whose real name is Joseph Adenuga, was rumored to have dated Namoi Campbell not long ago. But the Mirror is now reporting Adele and Skepta "have a close bond" and are "spending more and more time together" in recent weeks. The two are known to be pals — Skepta told ES magazine about their friendship in a recent interview. But neither has openly said they're dating. According to The Sun, the pair have been spotted spending time together lately and their friends are "hoping" a bona fide romance is imminent.

Angelina Jolie reflects on seeing her younger self in her children
Angelina Jolie brought five of her six children to the "Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil" premiere in Los Angeles on Monday, Sept. 30 — and it sounds like their presence actually helped her get out the door and on her way to the red carpet. "They wrangle me. Honestly, they're more together [than I am]," she told ET, adding that her 14-year-old daughter, Zahara is "the most organized in the family." After praising Zahara some more ("she's growing up so beautifully," she marveled), Angelina gushed about having the support of her kids, who also include Pax, 15, Shiloh, 13, 11-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne and 18-year-old Maddox, whom she recently "dropped off" at college in South Korea. "They're my friends," the star said. Asked about the fact that it's now been 20 years since Angelina won her first Oscar (for 1999's "Girl, Interrupted"), the actress, director and U.N. activist said her children help her get more in touch with the person she was back then. "Maybe it's 20 years on in your life, and you kind of circle back to that girl," she said. "Your kids are teens. My son is closer to that age [than I am now]… and so all the things I love about that girl, I'm seeing in the spirit of them, and it's helping me return to myself a little bit."

North and Saint West 'steal the show' at Kanye's 'Jesus Is King' listening party
Kanye West had New York City fans excited over the weekend as he brought his Sunday Service event to Jamaica, Queens, followed by the listening party for his new album, "Jesus Is King," that he staged in Manhattan's Washington Heights neighborhood. And while those who attended the listening party made it clear they were supportive of the new music, Page Six reports it was Kanye and Kim Kardashian West's kids, North, 6, and Saint, 3, who stole the show. "There was a movie with music, and their son and daughter were dancing onstage in front of the projector," a spy told the tab. "They were doing praise dances — like gospel-type dances — and people were laughing at how cute they were. [North] was going hard, doing the dances, and their son was trying to mimic her." North has been a staple at her dad's Sunday Service events for some time. In the past year, her little brother has been joining her, singing with the choir.According to Pitchfork, the famous sibs' "performance" on Sunday took place onstage at the United Theater while their dad rolled the IMAX movie pegged to the album's release. Despite Kim's promotional social media posts about "Jesus Is King" last week, the Friday release date came and went — as did the weekend's Sunday Service — without any official album dropping.

Kylie Jenner's Paris Fashion Week cancellation reportedly threw Balmain 'into meltdown'
Kylie Jenner's sudden, mostly unexplained hospitalization last week apparently left the staff at Balmain reeling after she announced she wouldn't be coming to Paris Fashion Week, where she was supposed to promote her new Balmain makeup collaboration at the label's runway show on Friday, Sept. 27. "They've been working on this deal with Kylie for over a year. It is huge, worth millions and millions of dollars," a fashion source tells Page Six. "When Kylie canceled at short notice, Balmain went into meltdown. The entire team at Balmain were in chaos mode because they lost the star of their show. They were devastated and begged her to reconsider, but she didn't. Millions of dollars in product had been ordered to celebrate this collaboration, and the plans had been in the works for over 12 months." Kylie had planned to serve as the show's "artistic director of makeup," in which capacity she was slated to personally apply cosmetics from the new Kylie X Balmain collection and join Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing on the runway for a final bow. Instead, she checked into a Los Angeles hospital with flu symptoms similar to whatever prevented her from making it to the Emmy Awards last week. Although Twitter momentarily erupted with rumors her illness was related to a second secret pregnancy, Kylie has since announced she's feeling much better — she's also shown off her abs, seemingly to prove she's not pregnant. Neither Kylie's nor Balmains reps replied to Page Six for comment.
Bebe Rexha's new 'women's anthem' was inspired by Serena Williams
When Bebe Rexha wrote what she's called her "women's anthem," "You Can't Stop The Girl," there was one woman, in particular, she had in mind. "I actually wrote the song in the studio and it was around the time when Serena Williams wore her tutu during one of her games," the singer told ET this week. She was referring to Serena's 2018 US Open look, which featured a black tutu in defiance of an umpire she and others had declared to be sexist — after she was deemed to have disrespected "the game" by wearing a catsuit to the French Open. (The catsuit was worn in an effort to aid her recovery from blood clots she faced after welcoming her daughter, Serena has said.) Whether worn in defiance or an interest in conserving her health, Serena's tutu had an effect on Bebe. "It actually really inspired me because I was like, 'Wow… she is a badass,'" the singer said. Bebe spoke to ET on the red carpet at the premiere for the "Maleficent" sequel, whose soundtrack is anchored by "You Can't Stop the Girl."
Olivia Newton-John is done worrying about cancer statistics
Olivia Newton-John is all about the power of positive thinking. The 71-year-old singer announced this year that she's fighting cancer again. Despite the serious physical pain — not to mention, the statistics, she's learned over the years that the best approach is one that prioritizes enjoying life. Speaking to Gayle King in an interview for CBS this week, the "Grease" star joked that "denial is really good, it's really healthy," when faced with the question of how she avoids growing obsessed with worry. "But it was consuming my day," Olivia says. "And after a time, I went, 'You know what? I don't know what my time is, but I need to enjoy my life. So, I'm going to eat a cookie if I want it. And I'm gonna have a cup of tea if I want it. And if I wanna have a little bit of wine, I'm gonna do that.' Because the joy of life and everyday living has to be a part of that healing process as well." Now 71, the singer was first diagnosed with breast cancer at 43. It returned in 2013, then spread to her back, which she revealed last year. "It's almost like, I think I know what the statistics are. And — if, and, but — I put them away," she said. "But I'm gonna live longer than that. I've made that decision. And I don't buy into the statistics 'cause I think they can make you really nervous. It's a decision, how you choose to feel about something," she added. "So, I've chosen that path. I'm happy. I'm lucky. I'm grateful. I have much to live for. And I intend to keep on livin' it."
Nick Jonas was almost in a coma before he was diagnosed with diabetes as a teen
When Nick Jonas' cover story for Cigar Aficionado magazine's September/October issue debuted, he took a hit in the Jonas Brothers fan world due to the health implications of smoking. But People points out that part of the interview actually dealt specifically with Nick's health. Before he was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 13, Nick found himself losing a dangerous amount of weight while craving sugar-packed sodas. He finally went to the doctor and learned his blood sugar was nine times the normal level. "I was very close to a coma. Like a day away, if I hadn't gone to the hospital," Nick recalled. As a kid, he was terrified about requiring medical insulin to stay alive, since a diabetic's pancreas doesn't produce enough, if any, on its own. "I kept asking my parents — am I going to be OK? I was just so concerned that it was going to limit my ability to do all the things I wanted to do. I was very scared — it's a big life change," he shared. Once he got an insulin pump, though, he said he "found out very quickly it's a very manageable disease … as long as you're really diligent." In a separate chat with People, Nick said he hopes he can use his experience to help others see why it's important to "prioritize a healthy life." He added: "You must go see your doctor and get your check-ups and make sure you're in the healthiest space you can be in because it's going to make every aspect of your life better."
Demi Lovato supports former 'Bachelorette' Hannah Brown at 'DWTS'
The "Dancing With the Stars" audience on Monday, Sept. 30, contained not one, but two famous friends of former "Bachelorette" Hannah Brown – and both were named Demi. Yep, Billboard reports Demi Lovato, who's reportedly dating former "Bachelorette" contestant Mike Johnson, was seated alongside her friend Demi Burnett, of "Bachelor in Paradise" fame. The pair spent much of the evening screaming encouragement at their pal while posting on Instagram Stories as Hannah performed the Rumba to Wilson Phillips' "Hold On." Their fans were more than here for the duo's appearance, too, as evidenced by dozens of posts celebrating the presence of "Demi Squared."
Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell eventually want to have kids after they tie the knot
Bindi Iwin and Chandler Powell aren't set to say "I do" until next year, but as Bindi told her Instagram followers this month, "wedding planning is in full swing" for the happy couple. Over the weekend, the 21-year-old conservationist and TV personality revealed she's picked her wedding grown. The pair previously announced the wedding would take place at Australia Zoo with "family, friends and lots of gorgeous animals" by their sides. And in a recent chat with E! News, Bindi reiterated that she still intends to honor her late father, Steve Irwin, by having her younger brother — who helped Chandler surprise his sister with a proposal in July — take over aisle-walking duty because that's what Steve would have wanted. "It's so important to include the people that can't be there with you. So on the day [of the wedding], I know that Robert [Irwin] is absolutely gonna walk me down the aisle and I think that's what would make dad happiest," she explained. She also told the outlet she and Chandler plan to have kids. "One day we'll have a family," she said. "One day we'll have our own little wildlife warriors, but not yet."
Prince Harry urges teens in Malawi to take advantage of health services and 'hold onto [their] dreams'
As Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan continued their tour of Africa on Tuesday, Oct. 1, the prince visited with teenagers in Malawi about sexual health, climate change and conservation. He previously stopped through the village of Blantyre, where a project helmed by the U.S. and U.K. governments has been making vaccines, medicine and various medical treatments more accessible and offering everything from maternity support to malaria treatment to HIV testing, according to the Daily Mail. "They asked him what challenges he faced when growing up and he did have challenges but he said they were not similar as the context was different," a health official told the outlet. "He told the young people to 'hold on to your dreams' and he urged them to show kindness, empathy and work together." He also reminded teens, "You need to know your status and know there's medication, so you can have a happy and healthy life."
