Selma Blair shares an update on her MS stem cell therapy

When Selma Blair was released from the hospital last week, having undergone Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation to "reboot her immune system," as the National MS Society puts it, she was happy and excited about the potential results. Six days later, the actress is facing the reality of how difficult her healing process from the treatment will be. Sharing a photo of her bruised legs in a bath tub on Instagram, the 47-year-old wrote, "Insomnia. I am like a waking baby. Afraid and want to cry. I want my mom. I do. I will take a bath. And cry. The beginning is hard. I have to Remember. #hsct #baby." Since she was diagnosed with MS and began posting candidly about her experience with the disease on social media, followers and fans have come out in droves to support her in her times of need and thank her for her honesty and strength. This time was no different. While some responded with references to their own experience with "HSCT," others, including some of Selma's famous friends, simply sent love and reminders that she's doing great and surrounded by people who have her back. Penelope Cruz shared a red heart in the comments, while Halle Berry wrote, "Sending so much love and light your way. You got this! I always feel better after a good cry too 🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️." Paralympic snowboarder Amy Purdy encouraged Selma to "cry and cry some more," admitting she, too, cries in the tub and telling Selma, "You aren't alone. So many people love you."

In what may be her second biggest opening-up since she discussed the kiss she shared with Tristan Thompson on "Red Table Talk," Jordyn Woods appears on the cover of the September edition of Cosmopolitan U.K., where she opens up about how her life and perspective have changed since the incident, which resulted in the end of her long, close friendship with Kylie Jenner and the end of Khloe Kardashian's relationship with Tristan. The magazine makes a point of noting the double standard that seems to exist in cases of infidelity, which seemed to impact Jordyn much more than it did Tristan, even though she's said he kissed her — a move that would be in sync with his previous cheating incidents. "I didn't know how to feel," she says, recalling the kiss. "I was like, 'That didn't just happen.' I [told him] 'I need to go.' I was leaving already so I walked out immediately. I got in the car. I was in shock." She says she isolated herself because she didn't know what to do and felt so alone. "I just need[ed] some time by myself to try to understand what [was] happening, why it [was] happening, and how am I going to react to this internally, you know?" she explains. "How can I make things right with myself, with God and with my relationships? It took some time off in order for me to have a level head on how I should react." Those attempts, she admits, weren't helped by the shaming she got on the internet — or the death threats. Still, she sounds optimistic when asked about Kylie. "I love her. That's my homie," she says. "I hope everything falls into place and that we can all grow and build our relationships with our family and God and come back together one day and be stronger and happier. A lot of people can be around when things are good. But you don't know who's really around until things are bad."

Is Leah Remini suing the Church of Scientology?

A new report from Us Weekly suggests Leah Remini is putting together at least one lawsuit against the Church of Scientology in her ongoing effort to help expose and dismantle it. "There are multiple lawsuits," a source close Leah tells Us, "one having to do with children who were allegedly physically, mentally and sexually assaulted while in Scientology and another regarding adults who've allegedly been harassed due to the policies of Scientology." Though the actress has not commented on the alleged lawsuit, a rep for the church maintains any allegations of assault and harassment are "false and unfounded" and bear " no credible evidence." The church has similarly denied claims made in Leah's award-winning docu-series, "Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath." A previous report from Us claimed Leah believed she was being watched and followed by members of the church and had met with lawyers in the interest of protecting her show. A rep for the church denied those claims as well, dismissing Leah's alleged concern as a "conspiracy" theory. In June, THR reported a former Scientologist, like Leah, had filed suit under a Jane Doe moniker against the church, alleging crimes including child abuse, forced labor and human trafficking. Doe's complaint also asserts the church began spreading misinformation about her after she escaped from the church and began working for Leah — and that Doe's relationship with church leader David Miscavige's wife, Shelley Miscavige, who has not been seen in public since 2007, landed in "the hole," or solitary confinement, because she knew too much about the couple's relationship.

Oh, and about $68,000, which is what The Sun reports the couple spent on their recent trip to the Caribbean island of Mustique a couple of weeks ago. According to the British tabloid, Will and Kate, along with their kids, Prince Louis, Princess Charlotte and Prince George, and Kate's parents, Carole and Mike, rented the Villa Antilles in the Endeavor Hills for their stay. The new villa was reportedly built by William's pal, developer Andrew Dunn. It generally goes for the equivalent of nearly $33,000 a week, according to The Sun. That hefty price tag gets renters a 60-foot infinity pool that looks out over the sea to the islands of Bequia and St. Vincent, a private garden, an al fresco dining space with an all-inclusive menu boasting items like prawn ceviche and grilled lobster and an in-house chef and butler. "Antilles is the newest villa on the island and is totally set up for a family," a friend of Will and Kate's tells The Sun. "The kids who have stayed there before absolutely love the bunk beds and child friendly facilities. As the villa is fully staffed they can also ask for whatever they want, whenever they want," the pal adds. The family reportedly returned home to England this week.

Billie Eilish opens up about her anxiety and depression

By the time she was 15, Billie Eilish had an EP that had gone platinum in multiple countries. Things only got more intense from there — her new album, "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go," has been streamed more than 2 billion times and within a week of its release she had broken a record for the most tracks, 14, in the Billboard Top 100 at once than any female artist in history . Now 17, the singer tells Rolling Stone that while she gets that she has "an amazing job," there are aspects to her success that wear heavily on her. "I've loved attention my whole life … but I don't think anyone knows what fame actually is. Because if I did want to be famous—it wasn't this kind," she admits in the cover feature, which opens with the teen's mom telling her to clean her room in spite of the Rolling Stone reporter sitting on their couch. "The things I get to do in my career have just been unbelievable," she says. But they've hardly undone her struggles from the past. After joining a dance company at 12, she developed severe insecurity and body dysmorphia. Eventually, a hip injury, she says, "sent me down a hole" of depression. "I went through a whole self-harming phase — we don't have to go into it. But the gist of it was, I felt like I deserved to be in pain," Billie reveals. "When anyone else thinks about Billie Eilish at 14, they think of all the good things that happened. But all I can think of is how miserable I was. How completely distraught and confused. 13 to 16 was pretty rough." Today, Billie says she's no longer depressed — then counters that by describing the excruciatingly hard week she's just had. It left her feeling "hopeless," as if she were in limbo because of a tour that seems like it will never end, and having panic attacks. Still, as she prepares for another few months on the road in November, she has ways of getting through, like seeing her therapist and chartering a "friends bus" on tour to protect her mental health. When she sees girls at her shows with clear marks of self-harm, she says, "it breaks my heart … I've said to a couple of them, 'Just be nice to yourself.' Because I know. I was there."

Nikki Sixx is a dad for the fifth time. The Motley Crue bassist and his wife, radio show host Courtney, 33, announced the birth of their daughter, Ruby, on social media on Wednesday, July 31. "Saturday night my wife Courtney and I welcomed into our world and family a very beautiful baby girl named Ruby Sixx. A spunky little girl with a full head of hair making her the 5th Sixx joining her two sisters and two brothers," the 60-year-old musician told followers. "Fatherhood has been the greatest joy in my life…..and @how2girl is a real natural as a mom," he added. "We are already sleep training her with a metronome and I got her a pink bass," he wrote. The happy parents wed in 2014. Nikki's also dad to Gunner, 28, Storm, 25, Decker, 24, and Frankie-Jean, 18, according to Page Six.

Ryan Seacrest weighs in on whether he'd consider joining 'the Bachelor'

The fan that wrote in to "Live With Kelly and Ryan" to ask if Ryan Seacrest would ever consider appearing on "The Bachelor" got a pretty hard "no" this week when Maria Menounos ran the option by Ryan. "You know, I don't think so," he admitted, saying that while "you never know," he's probably too "tied up" with work (via Us Weekly). Maria pressed him, asking how Ryan would respond to a direct plea from ABC to lend his services to the series. That didn't seem to sway him, though. How about that whole "making out with like 30 or 40 different girls every night," Maria wondered, coyly. "You've got to do what you've got to do," Ryan joked before back-peddling with, "My parents watch [the show]."

Salt-N-Pepa slam Spinderella's lawsuit as a 'smear campaign'

Nineties rap stars Salt-N-Pepa have responded to a trademark infringement, fraud and breach of contract suit filed against them by their former DJ, Spinderella, who claims she was denied royalties as far back as 1999, that she was never paid for performing with them at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards and that her former bandmates cut her out of a VH1 show about the trio's ascent to fame. The Blast reports Cheryl "Salt" James and Sandra "Pepa" Denton recently filed a response to Spinderella, born Deidre Roper, pointing out that she's the one who left the group. "After decades of friendship, Spinderella has embarked on a smear campaign, and sued her friends, based on blatantly erroneous assertions. The truth, however, is that Salt and Pepa have always tried to do right by Spinderella," the rappers say in their response. "Spinderella decided to quit performing with Salt and Pepa years ago and asked to rejoin the group 'Salt N Pepa' in December, 2013. Nostalgia and the desire to help a friend motivated Salt and Pepa to agree," the response continues. "They offered to pay Spinderella on a per show basis to perform with the group. Spinderella, grateful for the opportunity, agreed, and they performed together again."

Why Whitney Cummings left 'Roseanne'

A year after she walked away from "Roseanne," Whitney Cummings is explaining why she made that choice. In a recent interview on the Daily Beast's "Last Laugh" podcast (via JustJared), she blames Roseanne Barr's anger-inducing tweets about race, saying she was too frustrated and offended to stay. "I wanted her to get off Twitter," she said, praising the cast and crew for their hard work. "I felt like it was going to come to a head. It was like whack-a-mole." Ultimately, she said she felt like what everyone had put into the series ended up being "just for nothing" because of Roseanne's Twitter statements.
