Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's split is finally becoming less thorny. "Angelina regrets the way she handled certain things and wants to be at peace with Brad," a friend of the actress tells E! News. Brad, meanwhile is reportedly determined to "put the kids first and not say anything negative about their mother." That said, there are still some lingering negative feelings between the two. "He feels like his life fell apart in one day. His kids are everything to him and their happiness and success is what's most important. He would never ever put them through what they went through if he could have prevented it," says one source. "Brad is way too upset still. He blames Angie for how public everything became," says another. "He knows that eventually it is best to forgive her and be on good terms for the sake of the children but he feels let down in a way he never thought was possible. He saw a different side of her and he can't forget. The way everything went down has been beyond comprehension." Ultimately, "Brad hopes that somehow, some way, they will come out of this stronger and better off.," according to the source. Physically seeing his children is expected to get a little easier this summer: Angelina found it was too hard to travel with the kids back and forth from Malibu to Brad's house in Los Feliz so she reportedly got a place "a few streets away" from Brad. "They will be moving in this summer," says an insider, "and will continue to see Brad more regularly."

Mother-daughter BFFs Goldie Hawn and Kate Hudson teamed up for a feature in the new issue of Interview, with Goldie giving her daughter some advice while reflecting on her past. Don't tell me I can't direct this movie. Watch me." Kate also asked her mom why she hasn't made a movie in 15 years. "Because I believe that life is about doing. It's about changing. It's about transitioning. I can't imagine, as a human being, not being able to grow," Goldie said. "When I turned 50, I asked some of my girlfriends, all actresses of the same age, 'What are we going to do now?' I wanted to go live somewhere for a while, learn archaeology, or take part in healing the world on some level. I wanted to dig deep and say, 'Who am I now? What do I have to offer? What do I have to learn?'" After that experience — and the attacks of Sept. 11, 2011 — Goldie changed her outlook on life. "I ended up writing two books and creating MindUP," she said. "It's now in Jordan, Serbia, the U.K., America, Canada, Hong Kong. I never looked back. I never wished to be acting again. I was so engaged."

Despite Katie's extensive experience reporting at all three major networks, the told the Post she doesn't see herself as an "icon" in the eyes of young women in journalism. "I do not feel like I am an icon to young female journalists, not at all," she said. "But I am happy if I have helped in any way to inspire young women. I have tried all my life to be a role model and to conduct myself in a way that I could be smart and authoritative to have equal footing with men."

John Legend: Trump is unqualified to be president

Would Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder or Chrissy Teigen make better presidents than Donald Trump? If you ask John Legend, the answer is probably "yes." Speaking to Entertainment Weekly at the Time 100 Most Influential Gala this week, John listed Marvin, Stevie and Chrissy as people he admires. As for the POTUS? "I think he's a terrible president. He's manifestly unqualified, not curious, not good at legislating or doing anything that his job requires," John said. "He doesn't have any depth about any subject and he's also using the office of the presidency as a way to make money for himself with his business, so he's corrupt. I can't say anything nice about the guy. I think he's one of the worst people I've ever encountered in public life." On the bright side, he noted there is one not-so-horrible thing the Donald has done (or not done): "We haven't gotten in a nuclear war," John said, "… yet."

Kim Kardashian is simply happy to be alive after she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris. "It was meant to happen to me. I really feel like things happen in your life to teach you things," she told Ellen DeGeneres this week (via Today). "I was definitely materialistic before, and not that there's anything bad with having things and working hard to get those things. And I'm really proud of everyone around me that's successful. But I'm so happy that my kids get this 'me' and that this is who I'm raising my kids [as]. Because I just don't care about that stuff anymore. I really don't."

In the same interview, Caitlyn admitted Khloe Kardashian hasn't spoken to her in two years, something both Caitlyn and Khloe have hinted at in the past.

Phaedra Parks asks court to uphold terms of prenup

Phaedra Parks is trying to fix her divorce papers after a judge threw them out due to her misspelling of her husband Apollo Nida's name, among other things. As she moves forward with new papers, she's reminded the court she and Apollo signed a prenup in 2009 preventing either one from requesting spousal support should they split. The prenup also maintains the two will divide their assets in the event of a divorce. Phaedra has asked the judge to uphold those terms, according to TMZ.
