Tessa Thompson clarifies Janelle Monae comments
"Sometimes we cheer so loudly at someone speaking their truth, that we miss what they say." That's how "Westworld" star Tessa Thompson kicked off a tweet over the weekend that suggested her comments to Net-a-Porter about her rumored girlfriend, Janelle Monáe, may have been misconstrued. "…I didn't say I was in a relationship. But I said lots of other things. All below. One thing I missed — Pride Has No End," Tessa continued, sharing a link to the Net-a-Porter story. The feature does include plenty of discussion of Tessa's close bond with Janelle, who included Tessa in her video for "Dirty Computer." But a closer read shows Tessa's comments could simply be a reaction to romance rumors about the stars. (Janelle has said she identifies as pansexual, while Tessa identifies as bisexual.) "It's tricky, because Janelle and I are just really private people and we're both trying to navigate how you reconcile wanting to have that privacy and space, and also wanting to use your platform and influence," Tessa explains. "I'm attracted to men and also to women. If I bring a woman home, [or] a man, we don't even have to have the discussion. That was something I was conscientious of in terms of this declaration around Janelle and myself. I want everyone else to have that freedom and support that I have from my loved one, but so many people don't. So, do I have a responsibility to talk about that? Do I have a responsibility to say in a public space that this is my person?" When the writer mentions that, in her words, "the Internet would very much like" it if Tessa did explain her relationship with Janelle, Tessa is described as seeming "tickled" and "unfazed." "We love each other deeply," Tessa says. "We're so close, we vibrate on the same frequency. If people want to speculate about what we are, that's OK. It doesn't bother me."
Victoria Beckham shows off engagement ring No. 14
When Victoria Beckham arrived at the Dior Homme Menswear show at Paris Fashion Week in late June, her style was typically on point. One detail that was initially overlooked, however, began circulating over the past few days. That detail would be the yellow diamond engagement ring she demurely posed with from her front-row seat. If it looks different from you remember seeing on Posh's dainty left hand in the past, that's because it's reportedly the fourteenth engagement ring in her growing, multi-million collection. According to Bustle, which rounded up reports about Victoria's rings from the Daily Mail and Harper's Bazaar, the new addition is worth more than $157,000. Which is not to be confused with the $85,000-plus ring David Beckham slipped on his lady's finger when he proposed back in 1998 … or the pink diamond ring he reportedly gifted to her for her 30th birthday, thought to be worth more than $918,000. "He doesn't buy Victoria a ring every few years, but he's treated her to some of them," a friend of the Beckhams told the Mail. According to Bazaar, Victoria herself has plunked down money for some of the others, including the "oval-cut sapphire on a skinny pave band" she snagged in 2010. Her entire collection is estimated to be worth more than $11 million.

Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus are spending the summer 'exploring L.A. together'
With filming wrapped on Ben Affleck's latest project, "Triple Frontier," and "Saturday Night Live" on a break until the fall, Ben and his girlfriend, "SNL" producer Lindsay Shookus, are making the most of their summer together in Los Angeles. "He seems very happy that Lindsay is in L.A. now," a source tells People. The two have stepped out together around town regularly, taking Lindsay's mom and dad out for a hike and a recent meal at Cassia a week after dining together at Felix Trattoria in the Venice neighborhood. Although Lindsay has not yet been introduced to the three kids Ben shares with his ex, Jennifer Garner, he and Lindsay are reportedly "spending more time together while they both have downtime from work," according to a friend of Ben's, who adds that the pair are "enjoying doing normal couple things and exploring L.A. together." Lindsay, who will need to be back in New York City once production starts on the next season of "SNL," also has a home in Los Angeles, where she's been staying when she's not with Ben at his mansion. Earlier this year, the lovebirds reportedly holed up together at a deluxe, oceanfront pad in Hawaii while Ben finished shooting his forthcoming Netflix film. Speaking to InTouch, an insider said at the time: "Ben is going all out to show Lindsay just how special life with him can be."
Johnny Galecki was 'brought to tears' at Kaley Cuoco and Karl Cook's wedding
When Kaley Cuoco and Karl Cook said "I do" over the weekend, they did so surrounded by friends, family — and Kaley's "Big Bang Theory" costars, including her ex and onscreen love, Johnny Galecki. "Couldn't be happier for my fake wife @normancook and @mrtankcook whose words brought us all to tears last night. So much love for you both," Johnny posted on Instagram after the wedding (via E! News). In another post, he added, "Deepest congrats to the newlyweds. Love you both so much @normancook & @mrtankcook So moved by tonight." Mayim Bialik seemed just as moved when she chimed in on Instagram after the festivities wound down. "What a wedding!" she gushed. "Hearty and beloved congrats to possibly the happiest couple ever 😉 @normancook and @mrtankcook on their marriage, and for throwing a truly unique and EPIC party!! #kcsquared I know my table had a great time 🍹🐴♥️♥️♥️." The bride, who wore Reem Acra, and equestrian groom, tied the knot at Karl's horse ranch near San Diego. Congrats!
Why Kim Kardashian made Tristan Thompson unblock her on Instagram
Now that Khloe Kardashian, Tristan Thompson and their daughter, True, are back in Los Angeles with Khloe's family, Tristan should probably get used to the occasional ribbing from his girlfriend's relatives. Case in point: The public request Kim Kardashian West made for Tristan to unblock her on Instagram. "I had to do it. I had to!" Kim recently told "Extra" (via People). Kim captured the potentially uncomfortable exchange on social media during Khloe's birthday party. "I did [the video] just spur-of-the-moment," she said. "I thought about it, I was like, 'Wait a minute, you have your phone out and this is really awkward 'cause you blocked me. … We're all in the same room again, can I get a follow, can I get an unblock at least?'" A smiling Tristan, who had apparently blocked Kim after she said in an interview that his cheating scandal was "so f—– up," obliged and unblocked True's aunt on video. "I was just raised, you know, that blood is thicker than water and family first," Kim explained. "And that's also what keeps us sane. When we have those family dinners and we just get to hang out and be together through all the craziness that we've been through, we love each other and support each other, so it's always just fun to be together and no matter what we'll support each other, and we know that."
Khloe Kardashian says the best part of motherhood is 'the unconditional love'
While Tristan Thompson gets used to life with the Kardashian-Jenner Los Angeles fam, Khloe Kardashian is happily acclimating to life as a new mom. She exchanged a few tweets with a fan about motherhood on Saturday, June 30, and opened up about how things have been going since she and Tristan welcomed True. "Honestly it's amazing!" she tweeted. "Of course it's an adjustment but it's so beautiful! Sometimes I don't know what day it is or I don't get a shower LOL but she is finally on a great sleep schedule so I get adult time which is awesome! 🥂." Asked to share her "favorite part" about becoming a mom, she replied, "The unconditional love! I absolutely love the fact that I get to have this beautiful little being in my life for the rest of my life! We get to love each other forever."
Michael Che sends Colin Jost a surprise birthday gift
What happens when your coworker is a professional comic? Clowns ruin your birthday dinner, apparently. "Saturday Night Live" star Michael Che, who shares head writing duties for the show with his "Weekend Update" costar, Colin Jost, sent Colin a little surprise gift to mark his special day over the weekend when Colin was out with his girlfriend, Scarlett Johansson. Michael later shared a screenshot of the text Colin sent after he received his "gift" on Instagram Stories (via the Daily Mail). It showed a delighted-looking ScarJo seated alongside the unamused-looking, birthday boy, whose head was clad in some kind of balloon sculpture hat. Michael explained in the caption, "I sent a party clown to colins very intimate birthday dinner." At least Scarlett approved!
Miley Cyrus is working on new music; is Lady Gaga involved?
Miley Cyrus is hard at work on her first album since 2013's "Bangerz," and if her fans are right, it could involve a special collaboration. Speaking to Us Weekly, an insider recently said the singer "has been in New York since middle of this week and is officially working on new music." The source went to tell Us Miley's been using "the same [Electric Lady Studio] that [Lady] Gaga uses" and has "been recording the past few nights till 4 a.m." Meanwhile, a Miley fan site reports a fan who allegedly met both Lady G. and Miley heard Miley say she could "neither confirm it nor deny it" when asked if she's collaborating with Gaga. "Lady Gaga & Miley Cyrus have been in 'Electric Lady Studios' at the same time these days," another fan wrote on social media last week. "Mike Will Made It (Miley Cyrus' producer) liked a tweet about it. Something has to be coming!" One thing we know for sure about the new project is that producer Mark Ronson was working with Miley at the studio last week. Mark also worked on Gaga's 2016 album, "Joanne."
Jamie Foxx parties into the wee hours amid Katie Holmes split rumors
If those pesky Katie Holmes split rumors are true, they sure don't seem to be weighing too heavily on Jamie Foxx, who spent much of the weekend throwing down onstage and off at Irie Weekend in Miami. A snitch tells the New York Post that a few days after Jamie appeared with Ludacris and other pals at a concert on Friday, June 29, he hit the festival's afterparty at hotspot E11EVEN as the weekend came to an end on Sunday. "He was with Jason Derulo at the VIP table of the club that was tucked away," said the source, adding that Jamie and Jason showed up at the bash in a Rolls Royce around 4:30 a.m. "He was not with any women as he was probably trying to keep a low profile with all the Katie Holmes rumors … [Jamie] was definitely in a good mood and was seen laughing with the crew he was with." Katie's rep as well as the Post's sources have all dismissed last week's rumor that she and Jamie have called it quits.
