For most of election night, both Donald Trump and Joe Biden stayed mum while watching the results come in. Eventually, the former vice president urged patience. Trump, however, declared victory and said that he wanted vote counting to stop in states in which he was ahead at the time. (Meanwhile, he wanted counting to continue in states where he was trailing). His premature victory claim angered many in Hollywood, prompting celebrities to tweet out their anger at Trump. Leslie Jones went off in a 45-second NSFW rant, calling Trump's victory lap "underhanded reverse psychology." She also called Trump "delusional." "Trump is basically just skewing logic anyway he can at this point. In regards to close but not called states, if he's up; he says it counts. if he's down; he says it doesn't count. he says people voting for Biden are 'disenfranchising' his supporters. now he's just making noises." –Halsey

"You don't get to declare yourself the winner, Donald. The American people choose the winner through the Electoral College. We do this though our votes. You can't change that," George Takei said. "GOP leaders: Now would be a good time to grow a backbone and denounce Trump's early claim of victory when there are millions of votes still to be counted in hotly contested states."

"You don't come out & say you've won states you have not won unless you're worried about actually winning them. That sad and pathetic and absolutely ludicrous speech, says exactly that. He's acting the gov't is trying to take the election from him but HE IS THE GOV'T." –Kevin McHale
