TMZ reported on May 13 that Mary-Kate Olsen is seeking an emergency court order to legally end her marriage of more than four years to Olivier Sarkozy. The former child star claims her estranged husband has given her a deadline of May 18 to vacate their New York City apartment after terminating their lease without her knowledge. She's reportedly asked him to extend the deadline to May 30 due to the coronavirus pandemic, but he allegedly hasn't responded to her request. According to TMZ, she now says "the only way she can protect her property" is if she files for the emergency court order to grant her a divorce, which would "trigger an automatic court order preventing him from disposing of her property." The former "Full House" actress claims she first signed a divorce petition on April 17 but was told that New York courts are only handling emergency divorce petitions due to the pandemic. In her divorce documents, she asks the court to honor the terms of her prenuptial agreement with the French financier, which an Us Weekly source described as "ironclad."

Emma Stone prompted speculation that she'd secretly married her fiancé, Dave McCary, when she donned a simple gold band rather than her engagement ring on the May 5 episode of Reese Witherspoon's "Shine On" web series. The "La La Land" star further stoked the secret-wedding talk when she referenced marriage while chatting with another featured guest on the episode, Dr. Harold Koplewicz. While discussing how anxiety can impact a marriage, the psychiatrist said, "If you marry an anxious man, you're going to have to know me the rest of my life." Replied the Oscar-winning actress, "Thankfully, I didn't do that." Emma and Dave were set to wed in Los Angeles in March but reportedly pushed their wedding date due to the coronavirus pandemic. It appears they have gone through with their plans to legally tie the knot after all!

Similarly, Lily Allen fueled rumors that she and David Harbour secretly took their relationship to the next level (again) when she took to Instagram on May 7 to share a mirror selfie showing off her "ripped" abs … while rocking what appeared to be a diamond engagement ring. When a fan asked in the comments section if the bling is an engagement ring, the singer reportedly replied, "first rule of engagement club………" (The comment references the iconic line from "Fight Club" that "the first rule of Fight Club" is "you do not talk about Fight Club.") Lily and the "Stranger Things" star were first linked in mid-2019.
The Sun reported on May 8 that, according to a source, Kim Kardashian West and husband Kanye West have been "arguing and at each other's throats" as they quarantine together with their four kids amid the coronavirus pandemic. "Kim is getting stir crazy, as she's used to being on the go. It's also a lot of time alone with the kids for her," said the source. "She is frustrated with Kanye and thinks he's not pulling his weight in family responsibilities. They've been staying at opposite ends of the house to keep things civil." The insider echoed a late-April report claiming that the rapper has been "focused on creating" lately, leaving the reality star feeling like "all the parenting duties are falling on her." On May 13, an Us Weekly source added that the mother of four "feels like she needs some space" from her husband. "She is trying to be a great mom, focus on [her] law [studies] and her work commitments and it's hard to do all of this without Kanye helping as much as he can," said the source, adding that the Skims mogul has also been struggling with the chart-topper's "super-controlling" nature. "Kim's been feeling as though he's been trying to impose his views on her life," said the insider. It hasn't all been bad for the duo, though: "They've had more time together to talk about their feelings, about the kids, her law career goals and his business ideas," continued the source. "She's trying to keep her family together, especially for the kids' sake."
In other Kardashian clan news… Us Weekly reported on May 13 that, according to a source, Khloe Kardashian and ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson "are very much acting like a couple" while in quarantine with their daughter, True, amid the coronavirus pandemic. "They are being affectionate, and Tristan has been very attentive," said the source, adding that it's unclear what will become of the duo. "Who knows what will happen when the quarantine ends, and of course, the NBA resumes. Khloe has always believed that if Tristan wasn't on the road, they would have no issues." For the past month, there have been reports that the basketball star is extra-eager to reconcile with his ex.
On the May 10 episode of Ilana Levine's "Little Known Facts" podcast, Broadway star Noah Galvin revealed that he and Ben Platt are dating and quarantining together amid the coronavirus pandemic. "It's still relatively new," he said. Both men have starred in the title role in the Broadway production of "Dear Evan Hansen."
During a deeply personal interview with Vulture that hit the Internet on May 6, Hayley Williams said she only "went through with the marriage" to her now-ex-husband, Chad Gilbert, because she "had a lot of shame about mistakes" she made early in their relationship — specifically that he was still married to his first wife, Sherri DuPree, when they first got together more than a decade ago. "I got into that relationship prematurely," she said. "He was not divorced yet. I was very lonely. … Ten years trying to redeem one terrible mistake will send you to a lot of wrong doors, including directly down the aisle." Continued the Paramore frontwoman, referencing that Chad ultimately allegedly cheated on her as well, "I felt powerless and ashamed. It felt like the only way out was to stay in it. … I had a lot of shame about being the other woman, about being betrayed, about staying." Since her divorce from Chad, Hayley has "been able to make amends" with Sherri. "It took me far longer than I'd have liked, but we understand each other on a level," she said. "The person I offended when I was the other woman, at that point in my life, was the only person in the entire world who could have understood my specific pain. Because I was betrayed and felt alone and stupid. Considering that at one point we were at odds with each other, that's interesting. … [Making amends] helped me finally let go, because so much of why I stayed was to prove I wasn't a bad person." The Grammy winner also explained how her parents' divorce affected her own relationships: "I'd been trying to fix where mom and dad went wrong in my relationships," she said. "With my ex I felt like, 'Finally, someone picked me.' My mom felt like that in her relationship. But at the first sign of danger I said, 'I'm gonna redeem this.' It doesn't matter if someone's not faithful, it doesn't matter if I feel crazy all the time, I'm strong enough, I'm gonna fix this. … Some of the worst parts of their relationship, I've been reenacting."
The May 7 episode of "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation" revealed that Jenni Farley and Pauly D nearly hooked up back in November during Angelina Pivarnick's co-ed bachelorette party in New Orleans. (At the time, JWoww was on a break from her relationship with off-and-on love Zack Clayton Carpinello.) While partying in The Big Easy, both the mother of two and the DJ — who nearly hooked up on the very first season of "Jersey Shore" more than a decade ago — made it clear that they were interested in "smashing." But despite encouragement from their castmates, they decided to keep things platonic — aside from a quick kiss JWoww planted on Pauly's cheek. "JWoww, I will never disrespect you like that. You know that, right? I will never do anything that would jeopardize anything," he told her … before promising that once he "gets that greenlight," he's gonna do some explicit things to her that aren't fit for print! Later, during a confessional, Jenni said that she "would be very open to talking to Pauly, but he hasn't shown that effort yet." Pauly, meanwhile, acknowledged that the attraction between Jenni and himself is complicated because she's "family."
On May 7, E! News reported that amid the coronavirus pandemic, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have indefinitely postponed their plans to become husband and wife. "They have been struggling for weeks over this decision, but with no return to normalcy in the near future, the couple felt postponing the wedding was the safest and smartest choice," said a source. "Guests have recently been notified that the wedding will not be happening in late summer as anticipated." The insider added that J-Rod still hope to "have the wedding of their dreams" eventually — but not anytime "soon."
Us Weekly reported on May 7 that, according to a source, there's "no truth … whatsoever" to recent reports that Kristin Cavallari grew "increasingly impatient" with Jay Cutler's "unmotivated" and "lazy" behavior after he retired from professional football. Rather, the estranged couple simply "fell out of love," said the source, adding that the reality star "never had a problem with him retiring" and "didn't find him unmotivated or lazy." Continued the insider, "She never criticized him about not working or not working hard enough. She didn't care."
Us Weekly reported on May 8 that, according to a source, Elon Musk and Grimes "have experienced a lot of ups and downs" over the course of their relationship of two years. The duo, who recently welcomed a child together, "have been on and off," said the source. "Through it all though, they have and will continue to maintain a close friendship," added the insider.
According to Us Weekly, "Grey's Anatomy" star Caterina Scorsone filed to divorce her husband of more than a decade, musician Rob Giles, on May 8, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split and noting their date of separation as March 1. "[They] have separated. They remain friends and are committed to co-parenting their children in a spirit of love," the couple's reps later confirmed in a statement to People magazine. Caterina gave birth to their third child less than five months ago.
More new parents calling it quits! According to Us Weekly, Princess Love filed to divorce Ray J in Los Angeles on May 5 — mere days after he told Wendy Williams that he was "gonna ride" with his estranged wife in spite of their issues. The duo — who welcomed their second child, son Epik, in late December — have been at odds since late 2019.
Us Weekly reported on May 8 that Catt Sadler and off-and-on love Nick LaKind recently called it quits again. The former E! News anchor reportedly confirmed the breakup in a newsletter to her fans, writing, "I suffered a breakup. My best friend and I are letting go in love. Did I just admit that? It hurts. A lot." Last August, Catt said that she and Nick were "back together permanently" and planning to move in together following an early-2019 split.
Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph sparked split speculation when they decided to spend some time apart after previously quarantining together amid the coronavirus pandemic — she memorably nursed him back to health after he became extremely sick from COVID-19. But Us Weekly reported on May 12 that, according to a source, "everything is fine" between the Bachelor Nation couple. "[Colton] is just in Colorado visiting with his family since he hasn't been with them since the pandemic broke and recovering from COVID-19 himself. He was with Cassie up until the night he left for Colorado, but he'll be back in L.A. soon. They're both just enjoying time with their families," said the insider.
In other Bachelor Nation news… During an interview with E! News that hit the Internet on May 13, Tyler Cameron hinted that he's open to the idea of dating former love Hannah Brown again sometime in the future. "I'd say we're friends right now. I'm not in a place where I'm ready to date anybody. So once I get to that place, maybe one day, but right now I'm just grateful that we can be friends," he said. "She's someone who's a dear friend of mine. I'm very grateful that we can have a friendship now." Tyler also told Us Weekly on May 8 that he and Hannah "have a great friendship" and "care about each other a lot and want each other to be happy." Added the male model of their new dynamic, "It was nice to kind of put our past behind us and be able to have that friendship again. … It's a very, very nice thing to have."
Meanwhile, Hannah Brown took to Instagram on May 11 to reflect on the first anniversary of her failed engagement to Jed Wyatt. In the lengthy caption of a photo of herself taken moments before the musician popped the question, the former pageant queen wrote that she remembers feeling doubts about their relationship: "I could fake a smile but I couldn't shake the doubt, and looking back, I know why," she wrote. "That ending was not easy, but it was necessary to get me here. If I could go back and tell [myself] something, I would whisper, 'It's going to be ok. You're right, this ain't it, but it's the direction. So open up your hands, and let go of the control. Trust this process, it's going to be worth it. …Hold on. Keep moving. You're going to make it. This ain't it but what's coming is so much better.'" Concluded the reality star, "Sometimes you've gotta walk through the shadows to stand in the sun."
On May 13, Cameran Eubanks took to Instagram to shoot down rumors that she's leaving "Southern Charm" because she's worried the show will expose the fact that her husband, Dr. Jason Wimberly, has a mistress. "It has come to my attention that insidious rumors are now spreading and fake articles are being written…some of which pertain to my marriage," she wrote. "While upsetting, it sadly doesn't surprise me as this is what reality television has come to nowadays and a large reason why I kept my marriage off air. You must protect what is sacred to you. Some things aren't worth a big paycheck. What upsets me the most is that my husband, who is the most sincere and faithful human I know, is being falsely dragged into this. It disgusts me. He always supported me filming the show even though he wanted no part of the spotlight. I can't get too upset though because this is what you sign up for when you put your life on reality TV… and why I'm getting out of it now. Drama is needed to stay relevant on reality television and sadly false rumors about others are sometimes created. Make of that what you will and consider the source. My decision was made and given to Bravo months ago and had absolutely nothing to do with ridiculous and fake rumors about my marriage." On May 13, AllAboutTheTea.com reported that Jason has been involved in a two-year affair with a Charleston-based makeup artist who bears a striking resemblance to Cameran. According to a source, the duo are serious about each other and haven't been "very discreet" — he's reportedly met her family and they've vacationed together. "[Cameran] knows about the other woman but was handling it privately off camera," said the alleged insider, adding that the reality star "was devastated when she found out that the show was planning" to unveil her husband's infidelity.
On May 12, Karamo Brown took to Instagram to reveal that he proposed to his partner of a decade, Ian Jordan, for the second time. "I'm Engaged… Again! During this Quarantine I have fallen even deeper in love w/ my fiancé @theianjordan so on his bday / which is also our anniversary I proposed again. Our wedding has been canceled/postponed like so many other people but I still wanted to celebrate our love. I love you Sugah!" he captioned a video of the question popping. In the super-sweet clip, the "Queer Eye" star reveals that he and his fiancé were forced to cancel their wedding plans due to the coronavirus pandemic. He also reveals that Ian lost his engagement ring. "Ian, as you know, I love you very much, and after this quarantine, I realized how much I love you," he says. "We were supposed to be getting married, but now that's getting canceled cause of corona. And also you lost your engagement ring. So I decided to ask you if you'll marry me again and bought you another engagement ring."
During a May 12 interview with Us Weekly, Busy Philipps called quarantining with her husband, Marc Silverstein, "the worst." Said the actress, who's no stranger to openly discussing rough patches in her marriage, "I mean, I obviously couldn't do it without him, but ugh. … Listen, it's been a process — like everything — but we have been making a point to make sure … that the other one gets time to themselves. … So for Marc, a lot of times he really enjoys sitting outside by himself in the middle of the day, which is great. When he's out there, I'm like, 'I'm not texting him, I'm not asking him where the spatula is that he was the last one to use.' It's just, like, go outside, sit down, look at your phone, look at Twitter, do whatever you want to do for an hour." The mother of two went on to describe her me-time: She relaxes on an upstairs balcony during the afternoon or evening. Taking time to themselves has been "really helpful," she said, adding that they've also "been making it a point, recently especially, to have really nice dinners together."
On the May 7 episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," Courteney Cox explained why she and longtime love Johnny McDaid aren't quarantining together amid the coronavirus pandemic: "He was supposed to go to Switzerland to write [music], and instead, he had to go to England first, and then all of a sudden, [quarantine] happened," she said. "I have not seen him in so long. … We spend a lot of time on FaceTime, but now it's like, oh my God, I just miss his physical touch — just all of it. It's really been hard. This is the longest time."
During an interview with People magazine that popped up online on May 7, Kelly Rowland said that divorce is not an option when it comes to her marriage with Tim Weatherspoon: "Before I was married, I was like, 'Well, if it doesn't work, you just get a divorce,'" she said. "[But now,] that's not an option for me. That's not an option for me because I know I have a good man. I know I have someone that loves me unconditionally and we're gonna sort this thing out, we're gonna figure it out. Above anything, we've got faith and we've got each other. Marriage means a lot to me. It's something that I hold very sacred." She went on to say that she and her hubby are "so proud" of the fact that they "go to therapy every week" to "keep the relationship and the space of communication open, [so we're] ready for each other." Said the singer, "I have a husband who supports me and is there for me and loves me and I'm the same for him. I met my best friend. There's nothing that we can't talk about. When I meet an older couple, I always ask them, 'What's the one thing that can break up a marriage?' and they're like, 'Money and communication.' With every challenge, there is a solution and I think he and I have grown to talk about everything." She also addressed their sex life, saying that she's open to doing "role-play" and "dress up" to "surprise [Tim] in the middle of the night or something [if] it needs to happen." Continued Kelly, "We spice things up a bit and keep it fun. When we met each other, we had fun. Two years from now, we'll have fun. I think if you hold that close to you, it can always show itself in your relationship."
Edmonds no more! On the May 10 episode of her "Intimate Knowledge" podcast, the reality star formerly known as Meghan King Edmonds revealed that henceforth, she'll be known as simply Meghan King after dropping estranged husband Jim Edmonds' last name amid their divorce.
During a May 8 appearance on "The Breakfast Club," Kehlani said that she and off-and-on love YG actually had an open relationship but called it quits earlier this year because his interactions with another woman became "intricate and strategic and dishonest." Said the singer, "I wouldn't even say [his texts to her] were extremely deep. They just showed me a side that I didn't want to see." The "CRZY" singer claimed she gave her ex "space for communication" about his involvements outside of their relationship, but that "wasn't honored." Explained Kehlani, "[It's] worse when you're like, hey, I low-key am saying any [stuff] can go down as long as everything [is] communicated and everyone's adult — because I know how this life is, and I'm not really a big tripper off of most things in general. … Certain things I really genuinely don't care about, and certain things bother me more than other things." She went on to say that there were "a lot of lies and a lot of covering up" on YG's part. "It was deep. It was intricate, and it was like a big weaving of something that turned into something else," she said. She then explained why she never publicly addressed the late-2019 rumors that he cheated on her at a Hollywood nightclub: It "wasn't a rule-breaking situation" and "wasn't something that mattered" to her, she said. As for whether or not YG was OK with her seeking attention outside of the relationship, "He wasn't super-down, but I also wasn't interested," said Kehlani. "He was like, 'I don't like the idea of that.'" He also didn't approve of the idea of her hooking up with other women: "He wasn't like, 'It's a girl, so it doesn't matter,'" she said. "He was like, 'No. You will like girls and you could really fall in love with girls, so I don't need you going and falling in love with a girl.'"
JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers took to Instagram on May 13 to mark their fourth anniversary. "Yesterday marked 4 years with you @jrodgers11 — this is just a short minute of little moments that I am blessed with every day. You make me laugh, love me endlessly, encourage me to be brave, and always, without fail, are my biggest cheerleader. Also appreciate the fact that you still love me in my weirdest moments. (& like my dance moves) 💃🏻Can't wait for what the rest of our lives have in store for us," the former star of "The Bachelorette" captioned a video montage dedicated to her fiancé. Wrote Jordan in the caption of another video, "Happy Anniversary to the best dancer I know. I love you more than words can describe, and in these hilarious moments of you, just being you…I fall in love even more. 4 years down and an endless lifetime of being weirdos together ahead! Love you @joelle_fletcher."
On the May 13 episode of "The Howard Stern Show," Ali Wentworth said her husband, George Stephanopoulos, was "like a Pitbull with a chew toy" when it came to pursuing her. "I did not think I was going to end up with George Stephanopoulos. I thought, you know, Hugh Grant — someone like that," she joked. Her hubby, meanwhile, said that for their first date, he asked the comedian to dinner. "She downgraded it to lunch," he said, adding that they both knew "within a couple days" that they were meant to be.
