This time, it worked! After a rocky road to romance, new "Bachelorette" star Becca Kufrin is getting her happily ever after! Becca, who infamously got dumped on-camera by her fiance — "The Bachelor" Season 22 star Arie Luyendyk Jr. — has found love on her season of the ABC franchise. On May 22, host Chris Harrison confirmed on Instagram that Becca is "happily engaged" while Becca talked to People magazine ahead of her season's May 28 premiere. On the heels of Becca Kufrin announcing that she found love as the star of "The Bachelorette," her "The Bachelor" ex, Arie Luyendyk Jr., made a big announcement of his own: He has set a wedding date with the lady he left her for! Arie and Lauren Burnham appeared on "The View" on May 23 where they revealed that they will be getting married in Hawaii on Jan. 12, 2019. The couple has chosen not to televise their wedding, instead opting to keep it to "a close group of friends." Considering the reception Arie received after his season ended, that's probably a wise choice!

News broke this week that pop star Avril Lavigne has a new beau — and he's a billionaire! Avril is reportedly dating Phillip Sarofim, the son of Texas billionaire Fayez Sarofim. According to a report from E! News, the two have been seeing each other for two to three months and met through friends at a dinner party. In late April, they were photographed together in Los Angeles, where they spend time when not in Phillip's native Texas. Phillip reportedly has been married before, like Avril, who was wed to Sum 41's Deryck Whibley from 2006 until 2010 and Nickelback's Chad Kroeger from 2013 to 2015. She was last linked to music producer J.R. Rotem in 2017.

Though their romance first made headlines late last year, Shailene Woodley and her boyfriend, professional rugby player Ben Volavola, waited until May 23 to make things red carpet official: The couple posed for photos together at the Los Angeles premiere of her new movie, "Adrift." Shailene reportedly met the Union Bordeaux Bègles fullback, who hails from Australia, during the film's 2017 shoot in Fiji.
We'd be remiss if we didn't include a little understated wedding that happened to take place this week — the royal wedding! Prince Harry and Meghan Markle — now the Duke and Duchess of Sussex — wed at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 19 with an estimated billion people tuning in to watch. From Meghan's Givenchy gown to Harry's now iconic "you look amazing" message to her at the altar, it was one of the most romantic weddings we'll see in a while. But the part of the festivities we didn't get to see? Their private evening reception, which reportedly included a first dance to Whitney Houston's '80s jam "I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)," a DJ set from Idris Elba and George Clooney briefly playing bartender. Too cute!
It's about time! Hugh Grant is finally set to walk down the aisle for the very first time — at age 57. The actor will be marrying longtime girlfriend Anna Eberstein, a Swedish TV producer, in late May. The news was revealed when multiple outlets reported that their marriage banns had been published at the Kensington and Chelsea register office near their West London home. The two have been together for six years and share three children together. Hugh also has two kids with former love Tinglan Hong and famously dated Elizabeth Hurley for 13 years.
An "Americal Idol" romance! The two finalists on the rebooted reality competition show ended up finding love backstage! Winner Maddie Poppe and runner-up Caleb Hutchinson revealed during the May 21 finale that they were actually a couple and that they'd kept it a secret during the season. Caleb opened up to Us Weekly after coming in second, sharing, "Watching Maddie win was the coolest thing ever, really. Before she was my girlfriend and all that, she really has been my best friend since we met. Through this whole thing, me and her haven't really been apart, and I'm there for her whenever she's worried about anything and she's there for me. It's been great." As far as how long the two have been an item, Caleb adorably responded, "If you ask me, it was Jan. 21, which was the first day I laid eyes on her." Aw!
Are Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield back on? That's how it looked to some patrons at New York City's Dell'anima restaurant on May 22, Page Six reported, as the exes — who split in 2015 after nearly four years of on-and-off dating — enjoyed a meal together. "They were talking and sitting very close. They were laughing and smiling. They both seemed happy," a source told Page Six, adding that he two were "looking very much like a couple." But not so fast… The New York Post's gossip column hedged its bets in its report, writing, "The pair, who we hear are just friends, have been on good terms since their breakup and regularly compliment each other publicly."
Tori Kelly is a married lady! The singer tied the knot with her basketball player beau, Andre Murillo, the weekend of May 19. The pair started dating back in 2016, with an engagement following in September 2017. Tori broke the news on Instagram on May 20, sharing a sweet photo of them alongside a sweeter quote by Tim Keller that read, "To be loved but not known is comforting but superficial. To be known & not loved is our greatest fear. But to be fully known & truly loved is, well, a lot like being loved by God." Congrats, guys!
One of the most awkward parts of breaking up after being engaged? Figuring out who gets the ring. In the wake of John Cena's split from Nikki Bella, the wrestler reportedly refused to accept the ring when Nikki attempted to send it back. A source close to the couple told Us Weekly, "John is hoping they will get back together, which was the main reason why he refused it. Even if they don't get back together, John wanted Nikki to keep it as a reminder of their love." And not only will Nikki still have a ring to remind her of John — she'll have a wedding dress too! The "Total Bellas" star told Life & Style magazine of keeping her dress, "I keep it because, honestly, I think that John and I will probably end up together. He is my best friend and I love him." Sounds like it might only be a matter of time before these two lovebirds are back on again.
After ex Mac Miller was arrested and charged with DUI in May, Ariana Grande started getting hate from fans — and the pop star was not having it! Ariana sounded off about her "toxic" relationship with the rapper, shedding light on the reason they split earlier this year by posting an image with the text, "How absurd you minimize female self-respect and self-worth by saying someone should stay in a toxic relationship because he wrote an album about them, which btw isn't the case (just Cinderella is ab me). I am not a babysitter or a mother and no woman should feel that they need to be. I have cared for him and tried to support his sobriety & prayed for his balance for years (and always will of course) but shaming/blaming women for a man's inability to keep his s— together is a very major problem. Let's please stop doing that. Of course I didn't share how hard or scary it was while it was happening but it was. Reports surfaced this week revealing that the two just started seeing each other, with a source telling Us Weekly that "it's casual." The proof seems to be in the pudding — Ariana was spotted hanging out with Pete and his mom at an "SNL" afterparty in New York City on May 12, and People magazine reported that Pete was backstage with Ariana at the Billboard Music Awards on May 20. This new romance comes on the heels of Ariana's split from rapper Mac Miller in April. Pete also recently split from his longtime love, comedy star Larry David's daughter Cazzie David.

This one isn't a shocker. After a lot of back and forth, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Jen Harley have decided to call it quits again! A friend of the couple told Us Weekly that the pair are "done… for now." This comes after their initial split — which was filled with drama that included a public fight on Instagram — at the end of April and then a subsequent reunion in mid-May. The two welcomed their first child, daughter Ariana, in April, so here's hoping that they work things out again.

We're getting more information on how the unlikely romance between NFL star Aaron Rodgers and race-car driver Danica Patrick started! Danica revealed on Sirius's "The Jenny McCarthy Show" that they first connected way back in 2012 when Danica met him at the ESPYs and asked for his email address. They kept in touch but went years without talking — and both obviously dated other people. One cute detail she shared with Jenny? The two had code names for each other! "We referred to each other as Chicago and Green Bay," Danica admitted, sharing that it wasn't until recently that they made the switch from email to phone numbers. Amy Smart's husband, HGTV star Carter Oosterhouse, was recently accused of sexual misconduct by a former co-worker, and the actress is standing by her man. Amy recently spoke to Us Weekly about the accusations, sharing that while she's supportive of the Me Too movement, she also thinks it's important to realize some stories may not be 100 percent true. "People can say a lot. And I just felt ready, like I needed to speak up for my husband because I just think there was a lot of not truth that was put out there," Amy explained. The accusations against Carter arose in December 2017. This isn't the first time Amy's been vocal about her husband's innocence. She also sounded off on Instagram when the news broke, saying the relationship between Carter and his accuser, which took place four years before Amy married him, was consensual at the time.
