FKA Twigs is NOT jealous of Kristen Stewart or her career, despite a bogus report. Gossip Cop can bust this claim. We're told it's "false."
According to the repeatedly discredited Celeb Dirty Laundry, the singer is following in Stewart's directorial footsteps after becoming the Creative Director of NikeWomen's new Spiral Zonal Strength Tights campaign. The often disproven outlet alleges, "many fans can't help but notice that FKA's directorial debut comes only a week before Stewart is scheduled to show her film — Come Swim, at the Sundance Film Festival. The site asks, "Is FKA Twigs trying to steal Kristen Stewart's thunder? Could she be jealous of Kristen's career?"
Absolutely not. Without any evidence or legitimate sources, it comes as no surprise that the notoriously unreliable site has got it wrong. Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to Twigs, who assures us the report is completely "false." The singer is not jealous of Stewart or her career, and any stories claiming otherwise are entirely inaccurate.
As we recently reported, Twigs released a Nike-inspired music video for her song, "Trust In Me," to promote her new sport clothing line. In a statement about the creative process behind the video, the singer said, "I made the song in the campaign film before I got approached about this project. I realized it would be perfect, because the lyrics say, 'Put your trust in me.'" Twig's directorial debut shares no correlation with Stewart's, and once again, CDL has fabricated yet another fake news story.
