Shia LaBeouf has endured his fair share of troubles with the police. The "Even Stevens" alum, who wrote an essay called "Error Breeds Sense" for a book titled "Prison Ramen," shared that he was just 9 years old when he got arrested for the first time — for stealing a pair of Nikes. When he was 11, Shia was arrested for stealing a Gameboy. Fast-forward a few years to 2005: At 20, Shia was charged with assault with a deadly weapon after he tried to stab a neighbor and spent two days in jail for it. Just two years later in 2007, he was arrested and charged with misdemeanor criminal trespassing for refusing to leave a Walgreens in Chicago. In 2014, Shia was jailed for disorderly conduct after an incident at a performance of "Cabaret" on Broadway in New York City. According to Shia, "I didn't behave very well during the performance and ended up spending 25 hours or so behind bars…"

"High School Musical" alum Vanessa Hudgens recently got herself in some trouble with the feds. In February 2016, Vanessa was investigated for defacing rocks in Coconino National Forest in Arizona after she wrote "Austin + Vanessa" inside of a heart on a rock on Valentine's Day — then posted a pic of it on Instagram. She took it down shortly afterward and was fined $1,000.

Former Disney star Lindsay Lohan is the definition of a good girl gone bad. The infamous redhead first spent time in jail in May 2007 on DUI and cocaine possession charges. Just two months later, Lindsay was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence, driving on a suspended license and possession of cocaine. In August 2007, Lindsay pleaded guilty to misdemeanor cocaine use and driving under the influence and was sentenced to a day in jail, 10 days of community service, an alcohol education program, rehab and three years of probation. Things simmered down — kind of — until July 2010, when Lindsay Lohan was sentenced to 90 days in jail for skipping out on court-ordered weekly alcohol education classes. Some more jail time, a failed drug test and rehab followed, and in February 2011, Lindsay was taken back into custody for allegedly stealing a $2,500 necklace from a Venice, California, jewelry store. More jail time and a period of house arrest followed that, then came another probation revocation in October 2011. In addition, Lindsay was arrested in September 2012 for an alleged hit and run and again that November for allegedly assaulting a woman at a New York City nightclub. Phew, we made it.
Christina Aguilera got her start on "The All-New Mickey Mouse Club" in 1989, but 22 years later in 2011, Christina was arrested for public intoxication while driving with her then-boyfriend Matthew Rutler (who's now her fiance). He was arrested on suspicion of DUI, though wasn't ultimately charged after his blood alcohol content was determined to be under the legal limit. Xtina wasn't prosecuted either.
Mischa Barton wasn't exactly a quintessential Disney star, but she did act in Disney's "A Ring of Endless Light" in 2002. In December 2007, Mischa was arrested for DUI, driving without a license and possession of marijuana. She spent seven hours in jail before being released on $10,000 bail.
The one and only Britney Spears began her rise to teen idol fame on "The All-New Mickey Mouse Club." She was charged with hit and run and driving without a license in September 2007. Both misdemeanors were later dropped.
Do you remember Lizzie's right-hand gal pal, Miranda, from Disney's "Lizzie McGuire" show? Well, her real name is Lalaine Vergara-Paras and she was arrested in 2008 for possession of meth. After she completed a drug treatment program, it was removed from her record. But the internet never forgets!
Orlando Brown was a Disney mainstay in the early aughts, appearing on "That's So Raven" and the animated show "Proud Family." Things began going downhill for Orlando in 2007 when he was arrested for possession of marijuana. Then in 2013, Orlando was sentenced to jail in a 2011 DUI case. In August 2014, the actor allegedly threatened to kill a woman and her daughter, but struck a plea deal. In January 2016, Orlando was arrested on suspicion of battery, possession of meth and resisting arrest charges. Oy.
Debby Ryan, who starred on the Disney Channel series "Jessie," was arrested for drunk driving in April 2016 after failing a sobriety test. Debby's sentence? Three years probation, three months of a DUI program and community service.
Soap star Kirsten Storms got her start on Disney as Zenon in "Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century," "The Zequel" and "Zenon: Z3." She was arrested in September 2007 on DUI charges and released on $5,000 bail. Kirsten was then sentenced to 36 months probation and ordered to pay $1,643 in fines and complete a 90-day alcohol program.
Brian Bonsall, who played Preston Waters in "Blank Check," has been arrested several times. He faced two DUI charges in 2001 and 2004. In 2007, Brian was arrested for third-degree assault against his girlfriend. In 2009, Brian was arrested for hitting a friend with a bar stool and subsequently violating his bond in the 2007 assault case. What a mess!
Omar Gooding was all over television in the '90s, including a stint on the Disney Channel's "Smart Guy." Omar was busted for DUI in August 2013 and later cut a deal that saw the DUI charges dropped, TMZ reported at the time, when he pleaded to one count of reckless driving. He got two years of probation and had to take an alcohol education class.
David Henrie played Justin Russo on "Wizards of Waverly Place." In 2010, David and his brother were arrested following an argument and a scuffle with security guards at California's Universal CityWalk. Both boys were cited for challenging a person to a fight — sort of like disturbing the peace — and released to their dad.
In 2011, "Hannah Montana" star Mitchel Musso (who was underage at the time) was arrested for drunk driving. Mitchel was sentenced to 36 months of informal probation and ordered to take an alcohol education class and pay a fine.
And another one! Ryan Merriman got his start in Disney Channel original movies such as "Smart House," "Luck of the Irish" and "Ring of Endless Light." He was arrested in November 2011 on DUI charges. He pleaded no contest to one count of driving under the influence with a blood-alcohol level of 0.08 percent or more and another DUI count was dismissed. His punishment? Nine months in a first-offender alcohol program, three years of unsupervised, informal probation and $390 in fines.
"That's So Raven" cast member Anneliese van der Pol was arrested in July 2006 after a drunk driving accident. She pleaded no contest to driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol level above 0.08. The former Disney star received 36 months of probation and was ordered to pay $2,844 in fines and enroll in an alcohol education program.
Best known for his role as Max Russo on "Wizards of Waverly Place," Jake T. Austin was involved in a hit and run following a four-car crash in November 2013, but was later found not guilty. A month prior, Jake, who was underage at the time, was pulled over for drunk driving.
Phil Lewis appeared on a number of Disney Channel series including "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody," "That's So Raven" and "Lizzie McGuire." Unlike most Disney stars, Phil's legal woes happened before he acted on the network. In December 1991, Phil was arrested after killing a 21-year-old woman in a car crash while drunk. He served one year in jail and two years probation.
