Dwayne Johnson buys his dad a new house
For Christmas, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson gave his mom a brand new house. Now, he's doing the same for his dad. "I just got off the phone with my dad and man, it was a great call," The Rock said in a moving video clip he posted on Instagram on Sunday, March 3 (via People). "About two to three weeks ago, I called my dad and I said, 'Look, you're probably happy where you're at.' I said, 'but I want to do something for you. I want to buy you a brand new home, wherever you wanna live, you can live. He couldn't believe it, he was speechless. And he goes, 'I'm so excited, and I'm also so nervous.' My dad's an old school tough guy, I said, 'What the hell you nervous about? He said, 'Well, no one,' he was searching for words, and he's like, 'no one ever called to tell me they were going to buy me a house before and the fact that it's you, it's my son, I'm so proud of you, and I love you so much." Dwayne then told his followers, "I've never heard my dad talk like that," adding, "It felt good to me, and it felt good to my heart." He also opened up about how his father "used to beat my a–," calling it "tough love." "I hated it back then, but I'm so grateful for it now," he continued, "and it just felt good to kinda give back to the ones who raised you so, love you too, pop." In the accompanying caption, the star explained that his dad had a hard life from the time he was kicked out of his mother's house on Christmas Day and forced to live on the streets — an experience Dwayne said shaped the way his father raised him. "Enjoy your new house, pop," he wrote.

Kylie Jenner continues edging ex-best friend Jordyn Woods out of the picture
With Jordyn Woods seemingly out of her life, Kylie Jenner seems to have found a replacement best friend in Sorella Boutique owner, Heather Sanders. Kylie — who reportedly kicked Jordyn out of her house after news she'd made out with Khloe Kardashian's boyfriend, Tristan Thompson — spent much of Sunday, March 3, indulging in some retail therapy with Heather at the Westfield Topanga and The Village mall in Calabasas, according to the Daily Mail. The two were spotted checking out the latest offerings from Neiman Marcus in one of multiple get-togethers since the Jordyn-Tristan scandal erupted. The shopping spree came on the heels of Jordyn's appearance on Jada Pinkett-Smith's "Red Table Talk," in which she she denied having shared anything more than a friendly kiss with Tristan that she said he initiated, and just days after infidelity rumors hit Kylie's boyfriend, Travis Scott. The make up mogul met Heather years ago at Kendall Jenner's 16th birthday party. They reportedly became closer when they were pregnant at the same time.

Cardi B and Offset head to Cabo for a romantic vacation
On-again couple Cardi B and Offset are getting some post-Grammy Awards R&R in Cabo this week. E! News reports the pair headed to Mexico on Sunday, March 3, where Cardi showed off some of the highlights of their temporary digs on her Instatgram Story, including a pool and a fire pit, as well as the heart made of rose petals on their bed. A meal of lobster and salmon alongside a bouquet of roses topped things off in another post. It's definitely been an unorthodox relationship road for Cardi and her Migos rapper beau, who pleaded for her to take him back after he allegedly cheated, barged onto her stage with another reconciliation attempt and most recently surfaced onstage with her at the Grammys when she won the Grammy for Best Rap Album. For now, at least, Cardi seems happy to have Offset in her life again.

They're both extremely busy, but it's hard to do something like that without seeing the space." The pair reportedly got together in Malibu for their initial consult. "It was really just an opportunity for them to walk the space together and for Joanna to hear Jennifer's vision for the space," the source adds. "There truly is no formal plan for any of the footage, but could possibly end up on the Gaines' new network."

As Khloe Kardashian begins the process of moving on from her life with Tristan Thompson after he cheated with family friend Jordyn Woods, she can rest assured her brother-in-law, Kanye West, is doing all he can to protect her. A source tells People Kanye "thinks of himself as the godfather" of the Kardashian-Jenner family and "has the mindset that if anyone messes with one of them, they mess with them all." Given what happened at a house party in February between Tristan and Jordyn, the insider says Kanye has no interest in speaking to either of them ever again. "He's protective of the Kardashian women, all of them, and if anyone hurts them, he will always be their biggest advocate. He's 100 per cent on Khloé's side," says the pal. "Guys may come and go, but the bond between the girls is never going away, and they're committed to supporting each other," the source adds.

Jana Kramer snaps at mommy shamers after sharing tantrum video
Jana Kramer's had it with being mom-shamed on social media. The singer and actress recently shared a video of her 3-year-old daughter, Jolie, throwing a fit at the dinner table. Though Jolie's behavior kinda comes with the territory for her age group, some users accused Jana of poor parenting. In comments Jana later shared on her Instagram Story (via E! News), critics suggested Jolie may have been jealous or "missing her mommy" when Jana was looking after her son. "The whole week she was sick she got stuck w daddy so mommy could take care of Jace," the comment said. "Maybe it's not the baby anymore syndrome." Jana responded by explaining why she posted the video in the first place. "I know I shouldn't respond to comments, especially comments like that, but it just drives me crazy that people feel the need to comment on my pictures," she snapped. "And then it makes me upset because I'm like, I want to be able to post a temper tantrum of Jolie's, just to keep it real, and for the other moms out there, you're not alone." She continued: "Yet, I have people trolling my page saying, 'Well, she's doing that because of this.' Like, just stop. You don't know, you don't live in this house, you don't know what's going on. Please don't tell me why my child's acting that way. Thanks."

While sharing a keto-focused sloppy joe recipe on the Monday, March 4, edition of "Today," he announced he'd lost "about 40 pounds" since starting the diet in September, according to Page Six. "My cholesterol — just had them checked a couple of weeks ago. Everything's good," he said of the results. Celebrity trainer Jillian Michaels, among others, have openly opposed the low-carb, high fat diet. "What works for you, works for you," Al replied after Jillian voiced her opinion. "There's science on both sides that says it's not a great idea and science that says it is a great idea. I think it's up to people, with their doctor, with their medical professional (to make their own decision)."
