Kris Jenner left MJ out of all her pics from MJ's birthday party
Uh, forgetting someone, Kris Jenner? On Monday, July 22, Kris shared a seven-photo post on Instagram from her mother, MJ's, birthday party over the weekend. Captioned, "My squad celebrating MJ's birthday! #love #family #rideordie," the shots all appeared to be taken professionally and featured Kris' boyfriend, Corey Gamble, an assortment of her daughters and some of her friends, according to the Daily Mail. The birthday girl didn't make it into any of Kris' photo pics, though. "MJ's party with no MJ lmao classic Kardash behavior," one user commented. "Celebrating MJ?" asked another. "Cmon @KrisJenner and you guys, MJ is not in one photo. She should be in the center of every single picture taken that day." A third offered, "Was MJ in the bathroom or something?" MJ, who was at the party, by the way, turns 85 ob Friday.

Alex Rodriguez dances at Jennifer Lopez's Philly concert with their daughters
Alex Rodriguez continued his No. 1 fiance points-earning streak this past weekend at Jennifer Lopez's show in Philadelphia on Saturday, July 20. Video from the concert (via Access Hollywood) shows A-Rod and his 14 and 11-year-old daughters, Natasha and Ella, and J.Lo's 11-year-old daughter, Emme. rocking out to "Dance Again" near the front of the stage at the Wells Fargo Center. In a post on his Instagram story, he quoted lyrics from his soon-to-be wife's track and topped off the cute clip with the words, "It's a family affair," an apt reference given how much time he and his girls now spend with Jennifer and her kids. Jennifer's tour stops have hit some challenges lately, including the blackout in New York City that went down while she was performing at Madison Square Garden. But Alex has been by her side through almost all of it, including a recent show she described as having been "tough" in a Youtube video. "It was the best show I've seen so far," Alex assured Jennifer in the clip (via Us Weekly). "You guys killed it! And you showed why you're a champion, baby. You were down and you still came back up and had the best show. You don't see how great you are. You really have no idea. Baby, nobody's looking at steps. People are looking at how beautiful you look and how great you sound." Later in the video, Jennifer can be seen gushing to her manager about the confidence boost her man gave her. "That's why I love him and I'm gonna marry him," she said. "Whether he wants to or not, we're getting married. We're getting married forever."

Would-be burglar near Taylor Swift's home charged with possession of a prohibited weapon
The Rhode Island mansion Taylor Swift bought in 2013 for a reported $17 million was again the site of an uninvited visit from a stranger. According to The Westerly Sun, a 32-year-old Iowa resident who was already being looked out for the singer's security because of previous behavior was charged with possession of burglary tools and possession of a prohibited weapon other than a firearm last week (via The Blast). "He has a history — security guards at the home told us that he was already on a watch list because there were concerns he could pose a threat …," said Westerly Police Chief Shawn Lacey. "It is our understanding that he may have visited other properties belonging to Taylor Swift in the past." Police got involved after multiple Rhode Island locals reported his allegedly suspicious appearance near a boat yard by Taylor's home. He later told police he'd taken a train to the location from New York City and wanted to "catch up with Taylor Swift."
Leonardo DiCaprio reflects on working with Brad Pitt and whether he'll ever retire from Hollywood
For Leonardo DiCaprio, the opportunity to act has been a "gift" he intends to take advantage of for as long as possible. Speaking to People at this week's Los Angeles premiere for "Once Upon a Time … In Hollywood," the 44-year-old — who plays an actor who struggles to maintain relevance after starring in a now defunct hit TV series in the film — reflected on what the future might hold for his own career. "It's a good question. I don't know," he mused. "I mean, I suppose at some point I might retire, but I've always looked at this as the greatest gift that anyone's ever given me. I feel like I won the lotto, so I'm going to keep going as long as they'll have me." While "Once Upon a Time …" director Quentin Tarantino has said he'll quit making movies after he's made 10 (his latest being No. 9), Leo acknowledges "there's ebbs and flows in everybody's career," but he doesn't see the ebbs as a reason to stop working. "Sometimes you're a little hotter, sometimes you're not," he said. "Sometimes you may not be hot at all, but if you love what you do, you gotta just keep doing it." He also heaped praise on his costar, Brad Pitt, who plays his stunt double and best friend in the film, their first project together. "He's not only made great choices as an actor, not only is he extremely talented, but he's incredibly easy to work with," Leo marveled. "And that's the dynamic that I think both of us needed in this film. We needed to have guys that implicitly knew this town, knew this industry and knew this type of relationship, of guys that are professional, but then they kind of become family." "Once Upon a Time In … Hollywood" hits theaters Friday, July 26.
Brad Pitt sees an 'organic' end to his movie-making career eventually
Unlike his "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" costar Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt isn't ruling out an eventual retirement from filmmaking. "No, I don't know. I don't know. I enjoy doing other things. I think that one day I'll just wake up and organically it'll be done," he told People at the movie's premiere this week, adding, "Maybe I won't wake up and that's why it'll be done." He shared a similar sentiment about the "organic" nature of doing what works while it's working in a recent interview with GQ Australia, telling the magazine he finds himself increasingly "behind the camera on the producing side and I enjoy that a lot." Still, he acknowledged he's involved with such projects "less and less." "I really believe that overall it's a younger man's game – not that there aren't substantial parts for older characters – I just feel, the game itself, it'll move on naturally. There will be a natural selection to it all," Brad said. ":But I'm curious to see what the future of [film] is, what shape it takes. I really appreciate the streaming services because we're seeing more and more quality projects being made. We're seeing more writers and directors and actors getting a shot. It just tells you how many talented people are out there. .. I like to think there's room for both," he said. "But I could be a dinosaur and not even know it, man. And the comet could be on the way."
Ariana Grande, Kim Kardashian speak out after photographer Marcus Hyde was accused of predatory behavior
One of Kim Kardashian West and Ariana Grande's go-to personal photographers apparently missed the memo on the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements. Now, Ariana is urging models via Instagram Stories to stay safe and avoid situations where they feel unsafe. Her post came on Monday, July 22, after the fashion world watchdogs behind Instagram's Diet Prada account shared what appears to be a screenshot of a DM conversation between Marcus Hyde — the photographer Kim and Kanye West donated $25,000 to after he was severely injured in a car accident — and a young model and student named Sunnaya Nash. The exchange indicates she responded to a call he put out for models and was told in no uncertain terms she could either send him nude photos in advance or fork over $2,000 for the privilege of working with him. ("But nude is free?" she asks in the screenshot. "Ya, he replies. "Okkkkk I can shoot nude but don't want to send you nude photos," she says. "Then don't," he replies. She asks if he's still willing to do the shoot and he says, "it's $2k." "Bc I won't send you nudes of myself before shooting?" she asks. "Yeah," he writes, "Gotta see if you're worth it.") Sunnaya's post, which has been deleted along with others by Instagram, which called Sunnaya out for bullying and/or harassment, tagged Diet Prada, which in turn tagged Ariana, Kim and other celebs alerting them to Sunnaya's claims and asking the celebs to "come get your boy and teach him some decency." Ariana responded on her Instagram Story without naming Marcus but she was clearly referring to the sexual misconduct allegations against him, which have multiplied since Sunnaya came forward, according to W. "i have just read some shocking and really heartbreaking stories. i hate that this is a conversation. but. please do not shoot with photographers who make you uncomfortable or make you feel like you need to take your clothing off if you don't want to. if you want to, sick. but if you don't, please don't," Ariana wrote. "if they tell you you have to pay more money if you're clothed that's f—ed and i'm sorry that has happened to you. i promise there are so many respectful, nice, talented photographers out there." She added: "I hate hearing about things like this," she wrote. "I am sorry that that was anybody's experience and know that it doesn't have to be. Look out for one another. Tag your friends on posts of other photographers who's [sic] work you like and have had positive experiences with and help each other get connected." After Ariana shared her thoughts on the matter, Kim weighed in on social media as well, posting the following statement on her Instagram Story, according to Page Six: "I have been reading all of the messages and stories from women regarding inappropriate and inexcusable behavior of a photographer that I have worked with in the past. My own experiences have always been professional, and I am deeply shocked, saddened and disappointed to learn that other women have had very different experiences. I stand in full support of every woman's right to not be harassed, asked or pressured to do anything they are not comfortable with. We cannot allow this type of behavior to go unnoticed and I applaud those who speak out."
Selena Gomez rings in her 27th birthday in Italy with friends
Happy birthday, Selena Gomez! The singer and actress turned 27 on Monday, July 22, which she spent in Italy, where she and some friends have been hanging out since Selena's cousin's wedding in Texas over the weekend, according to E! News. For her birthday, she headed to Pierluigi in Rome for lunch with pals. "The table shared several dishes such as raw fish, tagliatelle with lobster, pasta with vodka sauce and various salads," said a source. "They were chatting and laughing the entire time. No candles, cards or cake, but they did have desert of ice cream and tiramisu." The restaurant is reportedly one of Selena's favorites. "After lunch they walked around near Piazza del Popola and the Spanish Steps," a second insider said. "It was a hot day so they didn't stay out too long. They cooled off with bottled water and did some sightseeing and shopping at street vendor stands and in women's clothing stores. Selena seemed very happy to be in Rome and was taking in the beautiful sites and all of the culture." The next day, Selena and her friends boated to the island of Capri, pausing to take in the sights — and share some hugs — along the way.
Meghan King Edmonds says her son's 'brain damage is not progressive'
In a candid interview published this week by the Daily Mail, former "Real Housewives of Orange County" star Meghan King Edmonds shared an update on the health of her 13-month-old son, Hart, who's suffering from the effects of irreversible brain damage. "His brain damage is not progressive," she told the outlet. "We don't yet know how it will affect the rest of his life, like speaking in sentences or his physical abilities. He looks very normal to a regular person. He chases after his brother and sister." She added that she hopes the treatment Hart's been getting — which has ranged from physical therapy to chiropractic assistance to hyperbaric oxygen chamber immersion — will bring some stability to his condition. "I'm just hoping that all the early intervention stuff we're doing now is going to help him and by kindergarten he won't be doing any more therapy at all. He will essentially have grown out of his diagnoses," she said. As she explained in a blog post when he was first diagnosed, "Hart has minor Periventricular Leukomalacia on both sides of his brain (namely the white matter), but more so on his right." She added, "[The doctor] said that this explains all of my concerns: the rigidity in his muscles, the (somewhat) delayed physical milestones, the lack of fluidity with arm and leg movements, the stiffness in joints, the weakness in his lower back, the somewhat favored use of his right side."
Madonna skirts Dave Chappelle's no-cell phone rule on Broadway
Among what we assume is a laundry list of privileges that come with being Madonna is the luxury of being the only audience member allowed to hang onto her phone at Dave Chappelle's Broadway show. Page Six reports Madge was spotted hanging out at the comic's "Live" show at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in New York City over the weekend with Anderson Paak, who opened the performance, and bassist/producer/singer Thundercat. The entire audience apparently was asked to seal their phones in locked bags before it began. Madonna? Not so much. "She was the only one who got to keep her phone," a spy told the tab, adding that she laughed at all of Dave's jokes. Madge reportedly aarived about half an hour before the comic started and stayed for about two hours before being "whisked away by security the moment that Dave was done."
