Beyonce, Jay Z and Solange Knowles catch a Mardi Gras parade
Between the All-Star game and the first weekend of Mardi Gras parades, New Orleans was extra crazy over the weekend and Beyonce, Jay Z and Solange Knowles were there to enjoy it. Bey and Jay scored front row seats to the game but they also made time to check out the Krewe of Barkus — a pet parade featuring folks walking their costumed dogs while throwing beads and rocking out to brass band music — on Sunday, Feb. 19. While TMZ caught the stars, along with Blue Ivy and Solange's son Julez, on a balcony above the parade, social media posts showed Bey mingling with the crowd in the French Quarter. Jay Z later stopped by historic Preservation Hall to catch Jay Electronica's show. Jay and Bey bought a home in New Orleans' Garden District two years ago; Solange has been living in the Crescent City with her husband and son for most of the past four years.

Selena Gomez doesn't want to be defined by her boyfriends
After years of being involved in a high-profile relationship with Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez is done being defined by her romantic partners. Sources tell TMZ the singer has been careful about her public perception since she started dating The Weeknd and has severed ties with Justin, who appears to have been trolling her new man on social media lately. Although she's reportedly not angry with Justin about his repeated references to The Weeknd on Instagram, she thinks her ex "needs to move on from his obsession with her." Selena and The Weeknd's romance went public in December after the two were spotted kissing in Los Angeles.

George Michael's family only wanted Adele to perform the Grammy tribute
When Adele heard George Michael had died, "I was devastated," she told the New York Post in a recent interview. "I had to go for a walk on my own and on Boxing Day I said to Simon, my partner, I have to do that tribute." The Grammy Awards tribute Adele performed ended up being one of the most talked about aspects of the evening. And it almost didn't happen. "They didn't want a tribute at first – his family and camp – and they came back and were very specific that it be me," she recalled. "I said, 'Great, I have got something in the pipeline. If you want me to do it, I will do it.'" Adding that she still couldn't believe how good looking he was, she said the "Faith" singer influenced not only her music and world view but her concept of fame. "I found him one of the truest icons, because when people are that famous there is not fakeness in a bad way but they put on an alter ego to protect themselves, and rightly so," Adele said. "I understand and appreciate that."

"He will be working with the local organizing committee to ensure that everything goes smoothly. He's a huge fan of Toronto and has had nothing but support from everyone involved. Of course it will also give him a legitimate reason to spend more time with Meghan, he's truly smitten."
Nick Cannon sued for $1.7M
Last year, Nick Cannon launched an app that allows singers, actors, dancers and models to share their videos and potentially have Nick sign on to be their manager. Dubbed Ncredible, the app also now comes with a line of consumer products aimed at helping amateur artists get their work out in the world, a potentially great backup plan now that Nick's quit "America's Got Talent." There's one problem, though: Nick's been accused of stealing the idea for the app. TMZ reports Enrico Taylor is suing Mariah Carey's ex for $1.7 million on grounds that after the two met so Enrico could pitch Nick on the idea for the app, Nick disappeared — then launched Ncredible. In the lawsuit, Enrico claims he told Nick he'd partnered with Birdman to launch a digital talent search. When Nick posted a promotion for Ncredible on social media, it reportedly resembled the one Birdman posted in 2014.

Dean McDermott's ex was furious about Tori Spelling's lavish baby shower
It's a good bet Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott won't be getting any baby gifts from Dean's ex-wife Mary Jo Eustace ahead of the arrival of their fifth child. It seems Dean is thousands of dollars behind on child support and his ex was furious when she read headlines about the $40,000 baby shower Candy Spelling reportedly threw for her daughter and son-in-law at Hotel Bel Air in Los Angeles recently. According to the New York Post, Mary Jo and Dean can hash out how to repay the missing cash when they head to court on March 9.
