Camila Morrone still gets flack for dating Leonardo DiCaprio: 'It's a bummer'
As Camila Morrone rides a wave of success following her performance in the well-received indie film, "Mickey and the Bear," the 22-year-old is still dealing with negative attention from some corners of the Internet. In a new profile for WSJ Magazine's Young Hollywood Portfolio, she acknowledges some of that is tied to her high-profile relationship with Leonardo DiCaprio, 45. "More exposure leads to more judgment and negativity," Camila says (via People). "It's a little bit of a bummer because you're really trying to do good work and be nice and be a good person, and in the meantime … people wish negative things upon you." Still, she says that kind of backlash can't change the fact that she loves acting. "It would never take away the joy of the craft that I get to do," she says. Leo and Camila were first linked romantically in January 2018. Though the actor tends to avoid acknowledging his love life in any public way, Camila has spoken honestly about reactions to the couple's age difference, telling the Los Angeles Times in December that age gaps like theirs have long been a part of Hollywood and "the history of the world." Said Camila: "I just think anyone should be able to date who they want to date."

On Tuesday, Jan. 14, Twitter blew up with claims Kim booed the Cleveland Cavaliers star while he was at the free-throw line, according to E! News. Kim was watching the Cavs play the Los Angeles Lakers beside her husband, Kanye West, and Courteney Cox, when she was filmed standing up, clapping then sitting back down after Tristan's free throw. "KIM STOOD UP TO BOO TRISTAN AT THE LINE LMFAOOOOOOO," one Twitter user captioned a version of the clip. E! notes one of the pics Kim posted from the game was of Tristan, making it seem unlikely she intended to send any negative vibes his way.

Selena Gomez teases new track, 'Boyfriend'
Fans are wondering if Selena Gomez wrote a response song to her ex, Justin Bieber's 2012 track, "Boyfriend," after she teased some new music during her appearance this week on "The Tonight Show." At one point, Jimmy Fallon asked if Selena recorded any songs that failed to be included on her new album, "Rare." "Maybe there's a few things," she said, looking "flustered," according ton Seventeen. "There's a few other songs that I couldn't help but want to exist. So I can't really tell when, but one of my favorite tracks is called 'Boyfriend' so I can't wait for people to hear that one," she said.

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are moving forward with their controversial plan to step down as senior members of the British royal family and relocate, part-time, to Canada, after Queen Elizabeth II approved a "period of transition" for the young royals. And while the couple have said they intend to work towards becoming financially independent, it's unclear who will cover costs for things like their security when they're in Canada. On Monday, Jan. 13, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau told a local TV station: "…there are still a lot of decisions to be taken by the royal family, by the Sussexes themselves, as to what level of engagement they choose to have and these are things that we are obviously supportive of their reflections, but have responsibilities in that as well," according to CNN. He added that "there are discussions going on" about the matter currently. "We are not entirely sure what the final decisions will be, what the dispositions are and those are the decisions for them. I think most Canadians are very supportive of having royals here, but how that looks and what kind of cost is involved, there are still lots of discussions to be had," he explained. Page Six, meanwhile, has reported UK police are concerned the cost of protecting the royals after their move will balloon. The Queen, who met with Harry, Prince Charles and Prince William on Monday, has reportedly ordered a formal, final plan to be created this week.

At 65, Christie Brinkley's spent enough of her professional life in front of a camera to know beauty standards will always keep changing. This week, while looking at a Cosmopolitan she covered back in 1977, the model and mom reflected on how those perceptions affected her work then versus now. Sharing a photo of the cover, which featured Christie in a tiny purple string bikini, she shared on Instagram that it was one of the first times she encountered what would become the start of a trend."At the time all the bikinis were low slung on the hip. This high leg cut made the hip a new erogenous zone," she told her followers (via ET). "I couldn't figure out how to put it on as just one string holds it all together! [Photographer] Francesco Scavullo shot all the covers for #cosmopolitan back then. He had a big umbrella with a string that ran from the middle of the umbrella which contained a light to the tip of your nose. You were in perfect light at the end of that string." She added that since there was no retouching in '77, everyone's makeup and "every strand of hair" had to be perfect. "I remember I was worried that I looked fat. I'm so glad that today our industry appreciates all shapes and sizes so we can just focus on being healthy. Not cookie cutter," she wrote. "I was one of them. I look back at these and think that worry was such a waste of time. If only the perspective we gain with age that alleviates the worries, could be passed on and absorbed by the younger generation …but I do think shifting the focus to feeling great is a giant step in the right direction."
Chrissy Metz talks weight issues and recognizing it's 'all about forward progress'

Speaking to Good Housekeeping for the magazine's January/February 2020 cover story, she explained that quitting because "something isn't perfect" isn't "conducive to forward progress, and it's really about progress, not perfection." Rather than holding it against herself if she eats something maybe she knows she shouldn't have for health reasons, Chrissy says she tries to, "change my perspective and think, 'What is it that I'm angry about?' since we tend to want crunchy foods when we're angry or ice cream when we soothe ourselves." Despite her best efforts, she also knows there may always be haters out there who make their opinions about her clear. "Those people are in the cheap seats; they're not in the ring with the blood, sweat and tears, and they have no idea what my daily life is like," she tells the mag. "Let me know when you've walked in my shoes, but oh, you're in the cheap seats."

According to Billboard, the singer posted a poem about the nominations within hours of their announcement on Monday, Jan. 13. The poem shouts out Adam Sandler and Greta Gerwig, Lupita Nyong'o, Awkwafina and director Noah Baumbach. Kimberly Van Der Beek is still recovering from blood transfusions following the loss of her pregnancy
After losing what would have been her sixth child while pregnant last year, James Van Der Beek's wife Kimberly says she's still in the recovery process. "I'm still healing from the miscarriage and the blood transfusions," Kimberly told her followers on Instagram Stories this week (via Us Weekly). "It takes four months after blood transfusions for your blood count, so I've still got to take some rest every day." After she and James shared their sad news, Kimberly revealed on social media that something happened in the emergency room that could have killed her. She has not yet spoken in any more detail about what that was. James has previously told fans the couple have suffered a number of miscarriages over the years.
After Gabrielle Union controversy, NBC to complete 'AGT' investigation by the end of the month
NBC plans to wrap up its investigation into the allegedly "toxic" work environment that preceded Gabrielle Union's firing from "America's Got Talent" by the end of January. Deadline reports NBC Entertainment Chairman Paul Telegdy told reporters during the Winter TCA press tour that the network is taking the situation "very seriously" and that it will set up new protections "if necessary." "We proudly embrace the notion that we could be a better workplace," he said. "We want to always go after the truth, that's our culture here." SAG-AFTRA is reportedly still investigating the matter.
