Caitlyn feuds with Kris, Richard Simmons talks, more ICYMI news

A rocker got engaged, a hooper separated from his reality star wife and Richard Simmons spoke! Those were all big stories this past week, but, surprise, surprise, the Kardashian-Jenner clan owned the drama of the week. Caitlyn Jenner's soon-to-be-released memoir is driving a wedge between her and ex-wife Kris Jenner. During the past week, excerpts from Cait's new book, "The Secrets of My Life," were released ahead of its April 25 debut. In the book, the transgender advocate details her sex life with Kris, saying she wasn't "entirely comfortable" getting intimate during their marriage. Caitlyn also claims that Kris knew about then-husband Bruce Jenner's gender identity struggle and made him suppress who he really was. The Kardashian family matriarch isn't taking too kindly to how she's portrayed. "I read it and basically the only nice thing she had to say was that I was great socially at a party one time," Kris said in a promo clip for "Keeping Up With The Kardashians." Kris also alleges that "everything [Caitlyn] says is all made up" and that she's never been "more angry and disappointed in somebody" in her life. Us Weekly said the family is "upset" about the book too. "Cait's talking about the family but didn't speak to them first, just like she did with the Vanity Fair interview," an insider said. "They're tired of being caught off-guard."

Kid Rock is a betrothed man. The rocker is engaged to longtime girlfriend Audrey Berry. The couple actually got engaged earlier this year, but the news wasn't reported until April 11 by the Detroit Free Press, which notes Audrey was spotted in early April sporting a big diamond on her left-hand ring finger. They've reportedly been together for nearly 10 years.

Pregnant!

Serena Williams is ready to enter the game of her life: motherhood. The tennis icon announced on April 18 that she is pregnant with her first child. She's 20 weeks along — which means she was barely two months pregnant when she won the Australian Open singles title in January. The athlete announced the news on Snapchat, where she donned a swimsuit that showed her growing baby bump. Serena got engaged to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian in December 2016.

Hospitalized

Early this week, Richard Simmons was hospitalized after "severe indigestion," ABC News reported. The ever-reclusive fitness guru had been battling "discomfort while eating" for several days, his rep said. Richard's condition was not bad enough to warrant an ambulance, so Richard's people drove him to the hospital. On April 19, Richard addressed his fans for the first time in three years. "Hello to everyone who has shown concern for me and sent their good wishes. You will never know how much it means to me," he wrote in a statement. "Aren't you sick of hearing and reading about me?! LOL Well, by now you know that I'm not 'missing,' just a little under the weather. I'm sure I will be feeling good and back home in a couple of days."

Weed, indeed!

New Age parenting? Melissa Etheridge raised eyebrows pretty high on April 17 when she revealed that she smokes marijuana with her wife, Linda Wallem, and her adult children — daughter Bailey, 20, and son Beckett, 18. Yep, she gets high with her kids. "I have smoked with my older two," she told Yahoo. "It was funny at first, and then they realized, it's a very natural, end-of-the-day [thing]… And it brings you much closer. I'd much rather have a smoke with my grown kids than a drink — oh, God, no." As expected, critics blasted her. On April 19, the cancer survivor told "Access Hollywood" that being judged "breaks my heart a little bit."

Separated

La La Anthony and Carmelo Anthony's relationship has hit the skids. After seven years of marriage, the stars have separated. TMZ broke the news on April 17, revealing that the MTV VJ-turned-reality star and actress and the NBA player were living apart. On April 18, a report on TMZ alleged that Melo not only cheated on La La, but that he got another woman pregnant. The woman, a dancer, is more than six months along. La La and Carmelo have a 10-year-old son, Kiyan. The couple has reportedly had an up-and-down relationship for years but have really been struggling lately as Carmelo's future with the New York Knicks remains in doubt. An alleged "other woman" clearly wouldn't help the situation either.

Trump diss?

On April 19, the New England Patriots visited President Donald Trump at the White House, but one important face was missing: Tom Brady. Many are wondering if the quarterback's wife, Gisele Bundchen, had something to do with it. Tom, who was a Trump supporter, said he wasn't attending because of "personal family matters." Perhaps not coincidentally, around the same time Tom would have been standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the controversial president, Gisele posted an anti-Trump tweet encouraging people to march in Washington to protest the prez's policies on "climate, jobs and justice." She's since deleted the tweet. In the past, Gisele has said she's not a Trump supporter and Tom even said that his wife admonished him from publicly talking politics. "I talked to my wife, and she said I can't talk about politics anymore," he admitted in November. "I think that's a good decision, maybe, for our family." So perhaps that "personal family matter" was actually Gisele?

Dating

Ben Affleck is officially moving out and moving on with his life. Last week, Jennifer Garner officially filed for divorce. On April 17, it was revealed that Ben is already dating another woman. TMZ claims that Ben and the mystery woman are "not seriously" dating, but dating nonetheless. "He's ready to move on," a source added.

'Housewives' romance

Jack Nicholson is a legendary Lothario and it sounds like a "Housewife" even once fell under his spell. "Real Housewives Of New York" star Sonja Morgan revealed on "Watch What Happens Live" that she had a fling with the actor. She described the romance as "so much fun." Host Andy Cohen then pressed her on the romance, asking if she and Jack had more than one evening together.. "One big sloppy mess whenever we could," she said.
