Celebs react to Kellyanne Conway's 'alternative facts'
Celebs including Sarah Silverman, Andy Cohen and Lance Bass aren't feeling Kellyanne Conway's "alternative facts." Donald Trump's adviser used the phrase on "Meet the Press" over the weekend while debating the validity of reports the inauguration suffered a dramatic decrease in attendance from years past. "You're saying it's a falsehood and Sean Spicer, our press secretary, gave alternative facts to that," she said (via Us Weekly). "I don't think you can prove those numbers one way or another. There's no way to quantify crowd numbers." The show's host Chuck Todd reacted by saying, "Alternative facts are not facts. They're falsehoods," and the phrase quickly began trending on Twitter. "#alternativefacts is perhaps the greatest Real Housewives term I have ever heard. I can't believe we haven't heard it on a reunion," Andy Cohen tweeted, while Lance Bass joked, "As a member of the @backstreetboys, I had a love child with @BettyMWhite. #AlternativeFacts." Sarah Silverman didn't find anything very funny about the situation and shared, "Lies now called 'alternative facts' by trump admin," as Zendaya posted, "Alternative facts….didn't know that was a thing… a bit of an oxymoron." The New York Times reported that "Trump's crowd was significantly smaller and less than the 1.5 million people he claimed."

Speaking of his organization, he added, "Hopefully we'll get our" turn and noted the need for clean water isn't a partisan issue.
