Talk about a heartfelt birthday message. Carey Hart turned 42 on Monday, July 17, and his lady celebrated the big day with a candid Instagram post about what he means to her. "Happy Birthday My Love," Pink captioned a black and white selfie of the two of them with one of their kids. "The weight you carry and the strength you have has always fascinated me. What you've accomplished in your life (the impossible, many many times) and what you continue to do (invent, live, love, forgive, alchemize) is incredible. You, my dear, are incredible. You're gorgeous inside and out (we know) -you're the good egg that never cracks. We love you to the moon, the sun, we'd follow you anywhere. I wish you enough this year. Enough rain to be able to feel the sunshine. Enough laughter to make the tears not sting so bad. You're my grateful."

Tara Reid gets wiggy with it at 'Valerian' premiere
Tara Reid debuted a different look on Monday, July 17, when she hit the red carpet at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles for the "Valerian " premiere. Rocking a long, blonde, Donatella Versace-esque wig, Tara smiled for cameras in a loose-fitting, low-cut pants-and-top set. A quick look at the 41-year-old star's Instagram indicated the wig was left over from a fashion shoot for the art, style and entertainment mag A Book of Us, although Tara hasn't revealed which issue she'll appear in. Tara returns to the small screen twice during Shark Week next month with appearances in (the awesomely titled) "Trailer Park Shark" on Aug. 2 and "Sharknado 5: Global Swarming" on Aug. 6.
Gwyneth Paltrow closer to realizing Go-Go's musical
The wine was flowing freely and '80s beats were cranking at Gwyneth Paltrow's Hamptons home over the weekend. According to the New York Post, Gwyneth hosted a party in honor of "Head Over Heels," a Broadway musical she's been pitching that's basically — albeit confusingly — a 1590s period piece set to Go-Go's hits. At the party, Go-Go's guitarist Charlotte Caffey performed for guests including Gwyneth and her kids, Apple and Moses Martin and one of Gwyneth's co-producers on the show Donavan Leitch. "It was a friends and family thing. It was billed as a tea party, but it was rosé all day," he joked to the tab. Though the pitch language has reportedly changed, the Post reports it originally included a mission statement that sounds like it could have been authored by whomever came up with the term "conscious uncoupling." "As Producers, responsible for promoting content relevant to the universal Human Experience, we feel an obligation to stand on the right side of History, to promote progress toward inclusion, and to defend the basic rights of all human beings," the statement read. "We seek to empower you to follow your heart, and to realize that the beat of your own heart is echoed by a universal beat that makes us all one." Which loosely translates to "vacation's all I ever wanted" …
Olivia Newton John's daughter shares update on her mom's cancer treatment
It's been more than a month since Olivia Newton John announced she'd been diagnosed with breast cancer again and was canceling her tour to get treatment. On Monday, July 17, her daughter Chloe Lattanzi shared an update on her mom's therapy. "My mama just sent me this," Chloe wrote on Instagram, sharing a video of some kitties rolling around and playing with each other in the grass (via the Daily Mail). "She's doing great! At a healing centre with lots of wild kittens!" Chloe continued. "Just wanted to let you all know how ell she's doing. I love you guys. We love you!,' she added, punctuating the post with the hashtags #f**kcancer #fighter #winning and #ilovemymom." Fans quickly responded with encouraging messages. "Your mom is my lucky star," wrote one of Chloe's followrs. "I'm glad she is doing great. I had no doubt. Her music continues to help me through all of my life's trials. I send her prayers and positive energy." According to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America's website, Animal Therapy can relieve stress, release endorphins and provide those battling cancer some positive company.
Is Aaron Carter cutting himself off from family and friends?
The family issues between Aaron Carter and his relatives may go deeper than the spat he had with his brother Nick over Nick's decision to tweet rather than call Aaron after he was arrested on suspicion of DUI and marijuana possession over the weekend. "He doesn't talk to his family very often and has cut out a lot of his old friends," an insider tells Us Weekly. Although it was public, Nick's tweet sounded sincere. "To my brother: I love u no matter what & if u feel the need to reach for help, I am here and willing to help you get better," he wrote after hearing about Aaron's arrest." Family isn't always easy, b[ut] we're all here for you," he added. Aaron responded in a similarly public forum — via a statement to Us. "If my own blood (Nick) truly cared about my well-being, why wouldn't he call me directly and have a conversation instead of making this about him through a very public forum?" he asked. "That's not cool at all to use me for his PR and kick me while I am down. I love my family despite it through thick and thin." Earlier this week, TMZ reported Aaron felt he was arrested unjustly and planned to sue the police who were involved. The website also claims Aaron spoke with a police officer shortly before he was arrested after his credit cards were declined when he was trying to pay to fix a flat tire on his car. A fan reportedly jumped in and covered the bill in return for an autograph and a photo.

Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup hit with dating rumors
Is love in the air for "Gypsy" costars and real-life pals Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup? A spy tells the New York Post the pair held hands and looked closer than colleagues usually do when they had lunch together in New York's Tribeca neighborhood over the weekend. The pair "walked in holding hands" when they arrived at the lunch spot, according to the source. "We didn't know they were a couple. Pretty cool seeing two big stars so into each other." The insider added that the actors "looked happy and were laughing a lot, then left again holding hands." Naomi announced her split from Liev Schreiber in September, while Billy recently told Mr Porter magazine he had "faith" he would eventually find The One. Neither of their reps commented on the news.
John Mayer explains how Drake inspired his latest tour
Despite his numerous Grammys and years of experience as a touring musician, John Mayer is still taking cues from younger artists when they impress him. Case in point: Drake, whose concert inspired the LED wall and floor on his The Search for Everything World Tour, according to the Associated Press. "I wanted to have a really big show. I want to be competitive. I want to be in the world where people are creating bigger and better shows. I think there's a healthy competition involved in it. I went and saw Drake's show … you see something that wows you and as an artist yourself you go, 'I want a little of that,'" he said. "In a way it's really minimal. But from there you can go anywhere you want to go. It can be abstract. It can be superminimalist. It can also be super-real." He went on to say he might expand on the idea for a future tour. "I have an idea maybe next year to do like a 2.0 version of it where it really goes down deep into my dream, but that's a lot more trucks and buses. I'd go broke from that tour but it would be incredible," he said. "It would almost be Broadway-like. I want to be modern day and I want to play by modern-day rules and excite people, but I also want to do it the way I would do it. Everything that I've ever picked up that was a technology in some way or another, I've always found, I think, my own voice with it. And so I'm doing the big, bad LED show, but in a way that tells a story about me." The second leg of John's tour kicks off Tuesday, July 18, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
That time Billy Crystal tore a rib muscle sneezing
Billy Crystal can even make a story about a sneeze funny. The comic stopped by "Jimmy Kimmel Live" this week, where he revealed the reason why he couldn't appear on the show last month, when he was originally scheduled. Turns out he tore a rib muscle — by sneezing. "So I'm in that position that a lot of you young people find your parents in around 8:30. I'm in a position, like, only a Cirque du Soleil person or a jellyfish could be in and I'm [dozing off]," he recalled (via ET). "And out of the blue I sneezed, but a violent sneeze. If it was a cartoon, my arms are flying off my body, my eyes are coming out of my head, people in the room are now naked because it blew their clothes off," he quipped with a smile. "I literally could not breathe. And it's not an injury you want to brag about. I didn't rescue a woman out of a burning car. I didn't catch an orphan falling out of a burning orphanage … I sneezed." Apparently, Billy's a lifelong intense sneezer. He added that in college he once made a pile of cash by advertising folks should pay $5 bucks a head to "come see him sneeze" while he ate the chocolate he was allergic to. "Finally we get to 63 sneezes," he concludes, "and I made $250."
