Carrie Fisher wrote her own obit in 2008
Carrie Fisher died Tuesday, Dec. 27, after suffering a heart attack on a flight from London to Los Angeles. If she had her way, however, that's not how she would have gone. ET reports pop culture's most famous princess wrote her own obituary in her 2008 book, "Wishful Drinking." Fittingly, it was "Star Wars" inspired. "George [Lucas] comes up to me the first day of filming and he takes one look at the dress and says, 'You can't wear a bra under that dress… because there is no underwear in space,'" she recalls. "I promise you this is true, and he says it with such conviction too! Like he had been to space and looked around and he didn't see any bras or panties or briefs anywhere." She figured his take on the situation was, "So, what happens if you go to space and you become weightless. So far so good, right? But then your body expands??? But your bra doesn't — so you get strangled by your own bra." The actress continued: "Now I think that this would make for a fantastic obit — so I tell my younger friends that no matter how I go, I want it reported that I drowned in moonlight, strangled by my own bra." Your wish is our command, your highness.

Teresa Giudice is 'doing amazing' one year after prison release
A year after she completed her own prison sentence, Teresa Giudice managed to celebrate a merry Christmas at home with her daughters, but without her husband, Joe, who's still serving time for bankruptcy fraud at Fort Dix. In photos posted to Instagram, the reality star and cookbook author could be seen enjoying some quality time with her brother, Joey Gorga, and her friend, Dina Manzo, who People reports was visiting from the West Coast. "Christmas stop at the Giudice's," Dina wrote in one post. "My little peanut Audriana is getting so big and even more beautiful." Although she misses Joe, Teresa's making the most of what she has, her lawyer, James J. Leonard recently told People. "I think the last year was a whirlwind for Teresa," he said. "She left Danbury at 5 a.m. and was filming Real Housewives of New Jersey less than two hours later. Her book 'Turning The Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back' came out in February and made The New York Times bestseller list and then Joe went away in March. So this has been a very eventful year full of highs and lows, but she is doing amazing."
