Justin Bieber is reportedly headed to a yoga retreat in India
How serious is Justin Bieber about revamping his lifestyle? India serious, it turns out. According to a report from Life&Style, the singer, who recently called off the remainder of his Purpose tour, is planning to spend two weeks at a silent yoga retreat in India where cell phones are included in the verbal communication ban. "Justin wants some peace and quiet," a source tells the tab. "He's fairly new to yoga and has only been to a few classes, but he's become really passionate about it because it helps him relax, focus and escape the stress of everyday life. If the report is correct, Justin's yoga plan syncs up with the reasons he gave for canceling the final dates on his world tour. In an Instagram post on Aug. 2, Justin explained that he felt "insecurity, fear and bitterness" were getting the best of him and that taking some time off would allow his music career to be "sustainable." Reports following the cancelation also cited his religious beliefs. "Justin is adamant about leading a normal life," says the source. "One of the good things about going on a silent yoga retreat is that he won't have any screaming fans to contend with." Sources previously told TMZ the Biebs planned to return to music "when the time [is] right."

Mel B's new romance with a Beverly Hills Police officer inspired some sarcastic headlines stemming from the fact that she shares a child with Eddie Murphy, the star of the "Beverly Hills Cop" movie franchise. It may be more complicated than that, though. A source described as a "close friend" by In Touch claims the new man is married. The pal Mel "already seems to be in love with the new guy," whom she reportedly met because of police involvement in her contentious split from Stephen Belafonte. "This guy is giving Mel a huge ego boost. He worships the ground that she walks on, and she loves it," says the source. Although Mel has reportedly told friends the beau "was unhappily married" and "planned to separate from his wife prior to meeting Mel," those close to the "America's Got Talent" star are said to be worried Stephen could leverage the new relationship in their divorce proceedings. "Mel's life is complicated enough right now," says the insider. "The last thing she needs is the over-the-top drama of dating a married man."

It's all Mariah Carey's mom's fault. And by "all" we mean that diva 'tude she's become infamous for. The new issue of Paper features a cover story about Mimi and the end of her Las Vegas residency. It also features a question about memorable "diva moments" Mariah has had. "I've never had a diva moment," the singer replied. Perhaps having come to terms with the fact that such a statement is … um … completely untrue … she then backpedaled. "No … Actually, I have had diva moments, and then people can't handle it," she admitted. "I guess it's a little intense, because I come from a true diva: My mother is an opera singer. And that's a real diva, you know — Juilliard diva. And so other people that are like, 'I'm a diva,' it's like, 'Honey, you don't know what a diva is, you didn't grow up with my mom.' And I mean it as a compliment, or I wouldn't be the person I am without experiencing that. And so when people hear me say, like, 'Dahling da da da da' and talk that way, it's kinda like I'm channeling my mother. Not that she says 'dahling' all the time, but like that voice is … it's like I inadvertently do it, and I don't do it to be disrespectful, I just do it and it just happens and it's like, [in diva voice] 'I don't even know why.' As Rihanna prepares her third Diamond Ball in New York City next month, her Clara Lionel Foundation is giving fans a chance to win tickets by donating just $1 to the organization, which supports education, healthcare and emergency services around the world, according to JustJared. "I want to challenge each of you to make a commitment to help one person, one organization, one situation that touches your heart," Rihanna said in a speech at Harvard this year, when she was awarded the school's Humanitarian of the Year Award. "My grandmother always used to say if you have a dollar there's plenty to share." Rihanna last hosted the Diamond Ball in 2015. A recent report claiming Prince Harry has been personally escorting his girlfriend safely into his waiting car on the tarmac when she visits London should come as no surprise to anyone who watches "Diana, 7 Days," when it airs on Sunday. Aug. 27. In the film, Harry, who was 12 when his mother Princess Diana was killed in a car accident in Paris in 1997, explains how painful it was to know that the paparazzi who chased his mother and caused the crash took advantage of the situation by taking pictures of the aftermath and selling them. "One of the hardest things to come to terms with is the fact that the people who chased her into the tunnel were the same people who were taking photographs of her dying in the backseat of her car," Harry says in a clip excerpted by Cosmopolitan. "William and I know that, we've been told that numerous times by people that know that was the case." He continued, "She had quite a severe head injury, but she was very much alive on the backseat and the same people who caused the accident, instead of helping, were taking photographs of her dying on the back seat. And then those photographs made … made their way back to news desks in this country."

DMX's home confinement lifted for rehab
Rapper DMX, aka Earl Simmons, has been granted a break from his home confinement order so he may attend a rehab program, according to the New York Post. DMX has been wearing an ankle bracelet since he failed a drug test that was part of his bail arrangement stemming from his arrest on 14 counts of tax evasion last month.
Jane Fonda drops the price of mansion she shared with Richard Perry
Before announcing she and her partner of eight years Richard Perry were calling it quits in January, Jane Fonda and her former boyfriend tried to unload their 7,100-square-foot home in the Beverly Hills section of Los Angeles for $12.99 million. Seven months later, Jane is reducing the price to $9.995 million, according to the New York Post. The Post reports the pad features canyon and ocean views, massive walk-in closets, a glass staircase and matching glass elevator and a meditation garden and solar-heated pool.

The gender pay gap is no joke — especially for Amy Schumer. After signing on with Netflix for her "Leather Service Special" for $11 million in 2016, Variety reports Amy discovered her male peers Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle had signed contracts worth $20 million per special, nearly twice what she was being paid. Rather than sit back and accept the much lower wage, she went back to Netflix, told them she knew what other comics were earning for the same work and asked for "significantly more compensation," which she got.
