Newly minted mother of three Kate Hudson showed off her midriff in a workout selfie on Wednesday, Nov. 29, along with an in-depth invitation to follow her fitness "mission" as she begins the process of losing the weight she gained before welcoming her daughter, Rani, with Danny Fujikawa, on Oct. 2. In the lengthy caption alongside her Instagram selfie, Kate vowed to get back into shape and lose 25 pounds in time for a new film she's slated to shoot in the spring. "So…here we go! The routine with our baby is getting more familiar and I'm ready to start taking a little time in the day focusing on myself. For me that means my health," the Fabletics founder begins in the post. "Why? Because I wanna be around a long time for these three kiddos of mine. I know that some are curious about what that means and for all you moms (whether working or not working moms) it is the most challenging thing in the world to balance kids and personal time. Let's be honest, kids take the number one position and it's haaaaard to make the time for yourself," she continues. "I've been doing a lot of research and I've spent my life time trying all kinds of new things that are focused on health and wellness. Because I am on a mission right now to get back to my fighting weight 😉 and my strong body/mind back I want to bring you in on some of this journey." She goes on to say she'll be sharing goals, tips about exercise and healthy meals and meditation practices she "just can't live without" on her @prettyhappyofficial Instagram page, which is associated with her "ways to love your body"-focused book of the same name. "🧘‍♀️ MY GOAL: I will be shooting a film in the spring and I'm looking to shed 25lbs," she declares. "I'd like to try new workouts and eat as healthy as I can. I wanna do all this and keep up milk production, raise my kids, work everyday, make time for my man, have girlfriend time and stay sane! 🤪 I know that this sounds more like a new year resolution but after Thanksgiving and everyone thanking their health, I feel motivated to keep that up. At the time, Mariah replied to the cameraman with, "I don't know her." The comment became a meme amid rumors the two were feuding. So what was really going on? "I really was trying to say something nice or say nothing at all. I really was," Mariah explains. Asked how she handles having "everything dissected" given her public life, the singer, who has spoken openly in the past about her own self-esteem issues, says she simply avoids the online negativity. :I try to stay away from it because you can't drown in that. I don't know how people read comments all the time and then survive," she says. "It's really about a great support system and working with people who understand and try to create a good environment. Hopefully, those people will also understand stress is really a killer. When we have lost some of our greatest, it's really taken a toll on me, as someone who grew up watching them and being inspired by them."

Turns out Mac Miller had a secret Instagram account. Fans of the late rapper, singer and producer figured out at some point this week that the account @cloudywithachanceofawesome69 was being updated not by a man named Lars, as the captions claimed, but by Mac, who also had an account under his own name. While the official IG was more focused on music, Crack Magazine reports Mac's other account was essentially one big clearing house for parodying people obsessed with vaping. Tongue-in-cheek tricks and tips to enhance the experience of vaping, videos and photos showing folks like politicians using e-cigarettes and sarcastic captions like, "Great day for vaping, guys! Go out there and chase those clouds!" Even the accounts he followed as "Lars" seemed to be facetious follows — think WWE, Monster Energy Drink and Jason Statham. Mac died Sept. 7 of what was later ruled a mixed drug toxicity. He was 26.

David Foster and Katharine McPhee are headed to Hawaii over the holidays with David's kids

Earlier this month, Katharine McPhee, 34, posted a jokey "Meet the Fosters" pic with the heads of her soon-to-be official husband, David Foster, 69, and five step-daughters superimposed over the movie's "Fockers" characters. Pegged to Thanksgiving, Katharine wrote, "mommy's home" in the caption, taking a lighthearted dig at the fact that she's two years older than her fiance's youngest child and 14 years younger than his eldest. So will "mommy" be coming home for the next batch of holidays? Sounds that way. David's daughters, Erin and Sara Foster recently revealed to UsWeekly that in addition to a family get-together set to take place most likely at Sara's house, the whole crew is headed to Hawaii. After years of fantastic performances, big risks and an insane amount of hard work, Taraji P. Henson is finally getting the praise she deserves. And as she recently told InStyle for the magazine's January 2019 cover story, her "Empire" character, Cookie Lyon, deserves plenty of credit for her current success. "Hollywood executives would tell me that I don't have fans all the way over there," she says in regard to international acclaim. "I said, 'You're lying because they can reach me any time. I'm a finger tap away, and they let me know every day.' Then we go to Paris [to promote 'Empire'], and it's standing room only in a room with 1,500 seats. I cried," she recalled. "If you believe what people tell you … you can't let people tell you s—." Taraji would know. "I was like the Punky Brewster of the hood," she says, delivery a Cookie-esque IRL line. "I was a well-rounded kid, but I could also scrap if necessary. But I wasn't that hard. Fast forward a few decades and a whole lot of awards and Taraji's both acting and producing in projects like her upcoming film about Emmett Till, the black teen who was brutally murdered for allegedly whistling at a white woman in the '50s. She's also started a foundation to create awareness about mental health issues in the African-American community. "I don't care if you're young or old or what color you are, art is so powerful," she says. "You can show things to people you've never met and you broaden horizons. I don't take for granted what I have, and I try to use it in any way I can, positively."

Paris Hilton's canceled engagement to Chris Zylka hasn't left her with a desire to find someone new. "I am busy being a boss-babe, running an empire. That is all I have time for," she told E! News on Wednesday, Nov. 28. "I barely have time for myself, let alone anything else." Asked if she was ready wade back into the dating pool, she made it clear that's not in the cards right now. "I am not even thinking about that right now. I am literally so busy. I hardly have time to see my own family, let alone do that," she said. "I am so happy. I just love my life," Paris added. "My advice is to always be happy and feel good about yourself—because life is truly too short."

Michael J. Fox reflects on his Parkinson's diagnosis at 29

"You've made a mistake — you're not aware of who I am." That's how a then 29-year-old Michael J. Fox recalls reacting when he was told he had Parkinson's disease. "I just thought, 'This is preposterous that this is happening to me.' I got this diagnosis, and it freaked me out, and I ran from it," he says in a new interview with Closer Weekly (via the New York Post). "I responded by drinking too much," he admitted. "I drank to obliterate it, to make it go away. [But the abuse] caused tension in my marriage, which had always been good and has been amazing since." The "Family Ties" alum has been married to Tracy Pollan, who played his girlfriend on the long-running '80s series, since 1988. "My wife is just an amazing person," he says. "I credit her with a lot of my ability to deal with this — and also shutting down my early attempts to deal with it in a non-productive way by drinking or getting angry." The couple shares four children — and Michael is equally quick to give them credit for supporting him, as well. "If I were to use one word to describe my kids, it's 'kind,'" he says. "They take it in — it's just natural. I don't know how we got so lucky that they turned out this way, but they apply that to everything they do. They didn't get anxiety from [my disease]. They got peace from it, and it's kept them honest. They pour orange juice for me. It's great. You understand there's bigger stuff going on than just yourself." As for his own way of coping with the disease, the star says he focuses on the present and takes things day by day. "It's OK to understand where I am today, but I don't have to spend a lot of time thinking about where I'll be tomorrow," he says. "I do the things I need to do — exercise or manage my meds correctly or get the correct amount of rest — but I don't do them so tomorrow's better. I do them so today is good." Not that he isn't also thinking about what the future may hold for those battling the disorder. In recent years, the 57-year-old has focused on advocating for those with the disease and raising money and awareness to find a cure through his eponymous foundation. "Somebody said, 'Someday, there's going to be a cure for Parkinson's, and it's gonna be because of you,'" he recalls. "It was the first time that really struck me. If that happens, it's much more special than any movie or TV show."

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West donate $25k to photographer after nearly fatal car crash

Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West aren't waiting for Christmas to get into the giving spirit. After making multiple donations in support of those affected by the wildfires in California as well as to the family of a black security officer killed by a white policeman, the couple gave Kim's personal photographer, Marcus Hyde, $25,000 to help cover medical bills as he continues to recover form injuries sustained during a serious car crash on the coast in Malibu, California. According to the New York Post, Kimye's donation to Marcus' GoFundMe page devoted to raising money for his care helped get his donations to $25,000 — nearly triple the original $10,000 goal. "As many know, Marcus Hyde was in a serious car accident at the end of October, resulting in him being hospitalized with serious injuries," the page reads. "He is still currently being hospitalized and will be for quite some time. With that being said, he has a long road to recovery." Kim also shared the page on her social media, asking fans to help if they were able to do so.

Melissa Gorga: Joe and Teresa Giudice's daughters 'need their daddy' as appeal process drags on

As the Giudice family waits patiently to find out the status of their appeal to prevent Joe Giudice from being deported to Italy after he completes his prison sentence in March, Joe's sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, remains concerned about the daughters Joe shares with Teresa Giudice. "There's four little girls that are involved here that honestly want their daddy and really need their daddy. So do we want Joe to come home, and have everything go back to normal. Yes. I think he's learned his lesson and I hope to God he comes home," Melissa said this week on "Watch What Happens Live," according to the New York Post. Joe's lawyer has said only that the "appeal has been filed" and that he and his team "remain optimistic "that Joe will soon be home with his family where he belongs." Joe is due to complete his 41-month sentence for fraud on March 14, a date his girls have no doubt been looking forward to in the hopes the deportation order can be reversed. Last month, Joe and teresa's 13-year-old daughter Milania shared an emotional update on social media about the development. "My dad, who is the best dad in the world, needs to come home," she wrote at the time. "We aren't done fighting dad. I can't believe this is happening."
