Katharine McPhee and David Foster celebrate with family ahead of their London wedding
Wedding bells are just around the corner for Katharine McPhee and David Foster, who have been celebrating their upcoming nuptials in London with family and friends this week. David's daughters, Sara Foster and Erin Foster, are reportedly in London already for the festivities, which kicked off in earnest on Wednesday, June 26, when the group went out for a dinner that turned into a post-"Waitress" rock musical of sorts for the bride. As Katharine shared on her Instagram Story (via the Daily Mail), "things took an interesting turn when the [restaurant's] waitress burst into song." It wasn't long before Katharine's cousin got up and started singing with the waitress, who by then had company on her impromptu stage as the whole crew began to sing David Bowie's "Heroes." Apparently, Katharine couldn't sit there and not join in after her long runs starring in "Waitress" in London's West End and on Broadway. "Then I took it to the next level and started to really scare my new family," Katharine joked in a video that showed her pitching in on "Proud Mary" vocals with the staff. Katharine, 35, and her music producer beau, 69, got their marriage license in Los Angeles back in May. As for the wedding itself, an insider tells the Mail it will be held this weekend and it will intimate, with about 80 guests, unlike David's previous weddings. "This one is more focused on their respective families and very close friend," said the source.

Khloe Kardashian: 'I don't ever need a man to feel solid'
Khloe Kardashian is gearing up for Season 3 of her reality show, "Revenge Body," getting in lots of quality time with True Thompson, the 14-month-old daughter she shares with ex, Tristan Thompson, and hanging out with her extended family — plenty to keep her fulfilled. Still, you can't blame Us Weekly for wondering at this week's junket for the show whether anyone's offered to set Khloe up on a date since her split from Tristan in February after he allegedly hooked up with Jordyn Woods. "Not yet and I'm so good!" she gushed when asked if her fam was sending potential date material her way. "I feel really happy and I'm spending so much time with my family," she explained. "We're working so much, but I like that I'm taking time for myself, and I think that I'm really good at being single! I enjoy it." Besides, she added, "I don't ever feel like I need a man to feel solid. I feel really good, so I'm enjoying spending time with True and my family." Meanwhile, Tristan seems to want to make things right with his ex, in spite of how their romance ended. On Khloe's birthday this week, he shared a message on Instagram that was so sweet, Page Six noticed followers joked that it sounded like his account had been hacked. "Happy birthday @khloekardashian You are the most beautiful human I have ever met inside and out," he wrote, sharing a photo of Khloe and True. "Thank you for being an amazing mommy to our princess True. She is blessed to have someone like you to look up to. I wish you nothing but more success and sending you positive blessing your way." He signed off with, "Enjoy your day Koko."

Mel C says the Spice Girls want to go back on tour
The Spice Girls' reunion tour wrapped up this month after 13 shows, but as Melanie "Mel C" Chisholm recently told Billboard, they're already thinking about their next move as a group. "I think for us right now, the big thing is we don't want it to end," Mel admitted (via People). "We've had an incredible run here in the U.K. We'd really like to get further afield. We've had so many fans that have visited us from all over the world. People have come from New Zealand, North America, South America, everywhere. I think we'd really like to take it out to the fans that haven't been able to travel but have supported us all these years. So that would be the immediate thing." There's more on their plate, too. While the recent tour included everyone in the original group but Victoria Beckham, all five singers will appear in a forthcoming animated feature film. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount Animation is shooting for a 2020 release and a soundtrack featuring classics from the '90s as well as some new music. Gayle King thanks flight attendant for reuniting her with her lost wallet on Instagram
Here's a friendly reminder it's possible to use social media's superpowers for good rather than evil. On Wednesday, June 26, after returning to New York City from San Francisco on a red eye and rushing to make it to her post on "CBS This Morning," the day before, Gayle King shared a screenshot of a direct message from a flight attendant named Zina. Turns out Zina found Gayle's wallet on a plane and wanted to know if the address on the driver's license was the best place to mail it back to her. "Yes angels exist & her name is ZINA & she works for @delta..," Gayle captioned the screenshot. "I lost my wallet & had checked all cars, cvs aisles & work .. it was my asst @jznotthatjayz idea to check DM Instagram (which i never do) THERE IT WAS!" she continued. "As Joseph pointed out he's a genius … thank you zina (and Joseph) !" The kicker? As Gayle put it: "Isn't it ironic I was doing a story on Instagram & Instagram helped reunite me and my wallet! Whew!" Gayle's pal Oprah Winfrey chimed in to call Zina "the Oprah Magazine hero of the week," while the Digital Director for Oprah mag pointed out the hilariously meta aspect of the whole thing: "This story happening on Instagram while you were interviewing the head of Instagram…just made my head explode."
Nicki Minaj takes a dig at Billboard months after they dissed her
Nicki Minaj may have just had the last laugh in the mini-feud Billboard sparked when it tweeted a pro-Cardi B, Nicki dis earlier this year. The brand's since-deleted tweet — which pointed to Cardi being the first black woman to win a Best Rap Album Grammy before posting, "Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj is being dragged by her lacefront" — so irked Nicki that she and others bailed on the 2019 Billboard Music Awards. Turns out the show had the worst ratings of any Billboard Awards in history. Retweeting an announcement that read, "With only 2 million views, the 2019 BET Awards was the show's LOWEST ratings ever," Nicki chimed in: "When u go out of ur way to b spiteful & hurt artists who have always supported ur show… when you fire great ppl who have put their heart & soul into the show… when you'd rather be a messy reality show than a prestigious award show… when ur still being dragged by that lace."
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have started planning their 'modern' wedding
Four months after Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom's Valentine's Day engagement, the couple have finally "set aside downtime to plan all the personal details" of their upcoming wedding. That's according to ET, which quotes a source as saying the two are "having so much fun" getting started thinking about ways they can make "their wedding a little different." Says the insider: "They want it to be modern and exciting," including Katy's dress choice. "She is leaning away from wearing white and her family is doing their best to encourage her to be more low-key, but that doesn't seem to be her. This is Katy and Orlando's day and they are going to create a special moment that best represents their style, which means a beautiful celebration of their love with the people they most care about," the source continues. "They are so ready to start their new life together. Their plan is to have a close friends and family wedding in the fall, but are keeping many of their plans private." ET's insider adds that with Katy and Taylor Swift on good terms again, she and Orlando "have even talked about including Taylor" on the guest list.
Jay Z lends a Basquiat piece about police brutality from his collection to the Guggenheim for a
Jay-Z has reportedly loaned at least one important piece of social commentary fueled art from his personal collection to the Guggenheim Museum in New York City for its "Basquiat's 'Defacement': The Untold Story" exhibit, which opened this month. The Jean-Michel Basquiat piece, "Defacement," was a reaction to the death of grafitti artist Michael Stewart, who died 13 days after going into a coma as a result of the savage beating he endured at the hands of six transit cops. The police were all tried and acquitted. Jay issaid to have contributed a piece created one year earlier called "CPRKR," a tribute to the late musician, Charlie Parker, Page Six reports. The exhibit hones in on "approximately 20 paintings and works on paper created in the years surrounding Stewart's death," according to the Guggenheim. Jay reportedly bought "CPRKR" in 2013 for $4.5 million. The museum has only stated publicly that the piece is on loan from a private collection.

Snoop Dogg slammed for insensitive 'alcohol abuse' post about former soccer star
Snoop Dogg's pro-weed stance took a wrong turn this week, at least in the opinion of a large group of social media users who called him out for being insensitive about the addiction and mental health struggles former British soccer star Paul "Gazza" Gascoigne has dealt with for years. The post showed side-by-side shots of Gazza at ages 20 and 47, and Snoop at 20 and 47. Alongside the Gazza pics, Snoop wrote, "Alcohol Abuse." He wrote "Marijuana Abuse" by his own pics, implying he had aged better than the athlete, who suffers from bipolar disorder and substance abuse issues. Page Six reports Gazza was in rehab as recently as 2017. "Bit harsh from snoop," wrote one fan in response to the post. Another asked, "Why has snoop dogg laid into Gazza like that," while a third vowed to "cancel" his interest in Snoop "for going after Gazza." Never one to miss a chance to shame a celebrity (in this case, for shaming another celebrity), Piers Morgan commented, "This is nasty. Shame on you @SnoopDogg." The morning after the post appeared, Gazza seemed to be replying to the fans' expressions of defense, tweeting, "Wow thanks so much re your tweets loved them. as you can see a few tears but honestly I love you's guys be good enjoy the rest of the day huge hugs from GAZZAA." Snoop and his reps have not yet commented.
