Katharine McPhee and David Foster spark a new round of romance rumors

They have yet to discuss the nature of their relationship, but Katharine McPhee, 33, and David Foster, 67, left a fundraiser together at the Peppermint Club in Los Angeles this week, sparking more questions about their rumored romance. The two have been spotted out together multiple times since they were first linked this past spring. In September, David's 35-year-old daughter Erin posted a few social media pics showing her dad and the singer onstage and at dinner together. On one snap (via Us), Erin wrote "my parents." She captioned another, "excited about my new step mom."

Minka Kelly sounds off on Jesse Williams cheating rumors

OK, then. This week, Minka Kelly finally spoke out about rumors her rumored relationship with Jesse Williams was responsible for the end of his marriage to Aryn Drake-Lee — and she didn't mince any words. When an Instagram user posted, "I hope the cheating rumors aren't true. It would be disappointing," on Minka's account (via E!), she followed up with this message: "They're not. Hate for you to be disappointed. Glad I could clear that up for you. Now f— off." Jesse, who has not confirmed he's involved with Minka, has been fighting with ex in the process of their divorce and custody battle despite the initial amicable terms on which they announced their split.

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez open up about their first business project together

These two are funneling their combined star power to help Puerto Rico recover from Hurricane Maria — they're also taking advantage of the opportunity to gush about one another while they're at it. As J.Lo explained to E! News this week, her former Yankee star boyfriend pitched with her to make the upcoming "One Voice: Somos Live! A Concert For Disaster Relief" happen later this month. "We compliment each other in a beautiful way, and I couldn't have asked for a better partner in this. I mean the things that Alex did to help make this a success for the people of Puerto Rico and for all of disaster relief has been amazing," Jennifer said. "Alex was like, 'We can do this,' and he got the MLB and the New York Yankees to donate right away. And then he made a donation. And then that all happened almost simultaneously," she continued. Jennifer, meanwhile, handled contacting oher celebs to get them involved. "I called every performer myself," she said. "It was a lot of fun to call you know, Gwen Stefani or Demi Lovato or Jamie Foxx or Leonardo DiCaprio or any of these people … Ellen DeGeneres and go 'Hey, my full time job is now Puerto Rico, can you help me out?' And I can't even get the sentence out and they're like, 'Yes, what do you need? What do you want me to do?'" The singer went on to explain part of the reason she wanted to stage the concert, which airs Oct. 14, was remind herself there's still plenty of good in the world. Added Alex: "We sometimes take things for granted. Just being in a room with air conditioning or refrigerated food or light and water, gas. Things that they don't have and it's getting worse by the minute," he said. "I think for us, it's important to send the message to them with our words and our actions that we're there and we're there to stay and we're not gonna abandon them." The event is set to raise money for Feeding America, Save the Children, Habitat for Humanity, Unidos for Puerto Rico, United Way and UNICEF.

New details about Harvey Weinstein's contract

Could Harvey Weinstein sue the Weinstein Company for firing him? TMZ reports clauses in the producer's contract essentially allowed him to get away with impropriety as long as he was not indicted or convicted of a crime — and as long as he covered his tracks with enough cash. If it were found Harvey "treated someone improperly in violation of the company's Code of Conduct," the contract reportedly reads, Harvey was expected to pay for all legal fees, judgments and settlements incurred as a result by the company. The contract also reportedly stated: "You [Weinstein] will pay the company liquidated damages of $250,000 for the first such instance, $500,000 for the second such instance, $750,000 for the third such instance, and $1,000,000 for each additional instance." In the document's excerpts, these payouts were said to be the "cure" for any wrongs that might have been done on Harvey's part. The contract also allowed the board to fire Harvey, which it did over the weekend amid revelations of mounting sexual harassment and now, assault, allegations, in the case of "the perpetuation by you [Weinstein] of a material fraud against the company." As TMZ points out, these clauses seem to suggest the producer might have recourse against the company's board if he chooses to go after them.

Pink finds a 'silver lining' in Harvey Weinstein debacle

When it comes to the Harvey Weinstein allegations, Pink is looking on the bright side. Speaking to E! News this week, the singer first said when it comes to issues like sexual harassment and assault, she believes "in fairness, justice and the truth." Though she's spoken out about allegations about Dr. Luke's sexual misconduct, Pink pointed out, "I've never been in a situation like the Harvey Weinstein thing," adding, "I don't know what that's like. You don't know how you would react until you're there." Ultimately, she said the entire debacle made her aware of something positive: "I love the silver lining that women are having each other's backs and they're coming forward and supporting one another. I think that's the beautiful part of the trauma. Not to be cheesy, but that's the silver lining," she said. "The truth always comes out, which I like."

Liev Schreiber steps out with Minnie Driver's sister

Has Liev Schrieber found someone new? The "Ray Donovan" star was recently spotted shopping in New York City with his arm draped around Minnie Driver's sister, Kate, prompting rumors the two might be involved. A source tells the New York Post the duo are family friends. Liev and Kate were also photographed together at the Vanity Fair Oscar party in February. Multiple outlets dismissed romance buzz at that time as well. Liev and Naomi Watts, who share two sons, announced last year they were moving on from their 11-year relationship.

Katy Perry helps a couple get engaged

She said yes! No, not Katy Perry — but close. Wednesday, Oct. 10, was National Coming Out Day, and Katy celebrated by helping a couple get engaged at her concert in New York City. After ushering two women onstage, Katy asked them to share a wish with the crowd. One of the two, Katie, seemed more than ready for the challenge. "Well, I don't know if all of y'all have seen Becky, but she's pretty even without any makeup on. And she's perfect every time I look at her," Katie said, according to the Daily Mail. She then got on one knee, pulled out a ring and popped the question. "Becky, will you marry me?" she asked. The audience roared and (the other) Katy urged Becky to go for it. "Say yes, Becky, if you want to get married!" she hollered into the mic. (Easy with the peer pressure, there, girl.) Becky said yes, and before they left the stage, Katie told Katy, "My wish came true." Congrats!

Scott Disick arranges a private tour of the White House

Scott Disick put his penchant for partying aside this week to take his kids, Mason and Penelope, to Washington, D.C. According to the Daily Mail, Scott was in Donald Trump's neck of the woods for an appearance at the Sugar Factory in the Virginia 'burbs and planned a private tour of the White House after his promotional duties were complete. From the looks of things on social media, it seems Scott's 19-year-old girlfriend Sofia Richie skipped the trip.

Tyga faces another T-shirt company lawsuit

Among Tyga's various financial problems is a former business partner who's suing the rapper in an attempt to find out where the money he's owed is really going. According to TMZ, Tyga worked with Chuon Guen Lee on his Last Kings T-shirt company before things went south. Chuon ended up suing Tyga once — and being awarded millions of dollars. Now, he's reportedly going after Tyga again on grounds Tyga hasn't paid Chuon what he's owed. In court documents, Chuon says Tyga set up new businesses in order to move his money around and hide the money Chuon says he's due. He's reportedly demanding proof of Tyga's revenue from all of his companies and asking that the court not allow Tyga to transfer cash between businesses.

Jason Aldean returns to his tour after Las Vegas shooting

After canceling scheduled performances in Los Angeles, San Diego and Anaheim, California, following the mass shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Festival that left at least 50 people dead, Jason Aldean returned to the stage this week in Tulsa, Oklahoma. "This country can be really divided — that's really unfortunate to see. It's been cool to see all the love and support that's been going on for the last 10 days. If we could do that on a daily basis the world would be a better place," he said, according to Rolling Stone. Later in the performance, he urged fans not to let their lives be ruled by fear in spite of the shooting spree that took place when he was onstage and, perhaps, the shooting deaths of Christina Grimmie at her concert last year and two young women from Louisiana at a screening of "Trainwreck" the year before. "They're gonna try to continue to hold us down … make us live in fear and be scared," Jason said. "To those people I say: F— you, we don't really care." Before the end of the show, he mentioned what happened in Las Vegas once more, admitting, "For the last 10 days, we really didn't know what it was gonna be like to get up here and play for you guys. We didn't know how tonight was gonna go." He then grabbed a beer to show things were going fine. Jason and his wife have spent much of the past week visiting victims of the shooting.
