Kelly Ripa, doctor crack jokes while treating her pandemic-induced worry lines

We could all probably use some levity after a week of escalating anxiety about the COVID-19 outbreak. Cue Kelly Ripa and her dermatologist, who co-starred in a silly Instagram Story clip that honed in on Kelly's, um, medical condition. "Hi everyone. We're going to talk about a certain medical problem," Dr. Anolik tells the camera in a selfie video (via People). "Yes, there's a very serious medical problem going around right now. What is it?" Kelly asks. "It's Botox deficiency," the doctor replies. "Acute!" Kelly adds, clearly enjoying the banter. "A lot of side effects," jokes the doc. "Lines, wrinkles …" Seated in the chair and ready to get her injections, Kelly then turns the conversation towards the pandemic — sort of. "In this time we can notice that there's been a lot of worrying, you can see it is written all over my face," Kelly cracks, "… but Dr. Anolik decided to be brave today and come into work to treat my acute Botox deficiency syndrome." After he finishes working on the "Live!" host, she shows off her face to the camera. "What do you think? Did I survive?" she asks her followers, adding a faux-concerned, "Is there any Botox left for anyone else doctor?" Says the doc: "We used it all up, hopefully, there won't be a shortage." Willow Smith's hair-whipping days are over for now. As part of the 19-year-old's performance art collaboration with her boyfriend Tyler Cole at the Geffen Contemporary at the Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles this week, Willow had Tyler shave her head while the two were locked in a glass room for 24 hours. "The start of the new beginning," Jada captioned a post from the haircutting moment. "Willow Smith at her interactive experience. My baby shaved her head! Again!" Titled "The Anxiety," the piece featured Willow and Tyler dealing with eight emotions tied to anxiety: paranoia, rage, sadness, numbness, euphoria, strong interest, compassion and acceptance, each of which the pair exhibited for three hours over the course of a day. According to Allure, visitors were able to watch the performance through the glass, while the artists occasionally wrote down words on cards, like the one Willow held up in her mom's Insta clip that read, "When you practice patience… you are emulating the very spirit of nature," and on the wall behind them. The piece was staged one day before the release of their new album, also called "Anxiety."

Gerard Butler carries the Olympic Flame in Greece

The Olympic Torch Relay's Greece leg was cut short after less than two of its scheduled eight days this week because of the new coronavirus, according to CBS. While the relay won't proceed, Gerard Butler, who played Spartan King Leonidas in the film "300," was able to help light The Olympic Torch from the Olympic Flame on Friday, March 13. Billy Zane also helped carry the torch, according to JustJared. And yes, Gerard did yell his famous "300" line, "This is Sparta" while carrying the torch. The flame is set to be delivered to Tokyo for the Summer Olympics next Thursday. No audience will be present in light of the pandemic.

Rita Wilson posts a 'quarantunes' playlist for others battling COVID-19

After Tom Cruise and Rita Wilson tested positive for the coronavirus earlier this week, Rita put a request out on social media, asking for song suggestions to help others in the position she and Tom are currently in. "Hi guys!I want to make a @Spotify playlist for people self quarantining," Rita tweeted. "Something that might relate to isolation, perhaps? Can you send some song ideas that I can add? Also, what should we call it? Quarantine Choruses?This is what one does in quarantine," she joked. "U think of stuff like this." You also apparently follow through on playlists! Because a few hours after she first tweeted about the idea, she shared the listening sesh. "And the winner for the quarantine playlist naming is QUARANTUNES!" she quipped, telling followers to check out the 28-song playlist on Spotify (via People). Among the "quarantunes?" Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's divorce was settled in 2016, but the former couple is still fighting in court, amid Johnny's claims Amber unfairly characterized him as an abuser in a 2018 op-ed for the Washington Post. Now, Winona Ryder is wading into the mess. The "Stranger Things" actress recently filed a statement in Johnny's defense saying she finds it "impossible to believe" he could be capable of domestic violence, according to the Evening Standard. Telling the court she "cannot wrap my head around these accusations," Winona explains that she was in a romantic relationship with the actor for four years in the '90s and the experience left her "absolutely shocked, confused and upset" when she learned Amber claimed Johnny had gotten physical with her during their marriage. "The idea that he is an incredibly violent person is the farthest thing from the Johnny I knew and loved," Winona says in the document. In his $50 million defamation suit against Amber, Johnny claims it was she who was the "perpetrator" of violence toward him, not the other way around. He's also filed a libel claim in London against British tab The Sun for its coverage of his split from his former wife and costar. "I knew Johnny very well years ago," Winona says in her statement. "We were together as a couple for four years, and I counted him as my best friend, and as close to me as family. I count our relationship as one of the more significant relationships of my life," she continues. "I understand that it is very important that I speak from my own experience."

It's that time of year again when the worst performances of the past 365 days come back to haunt Hollywood — or, as in Dame Judi Dench's case, to give all of us cause for celebration. JustJared reports that in a new interview with BBC Radio 4, the veteran actress was asked about her Razzie nomination for Worst Supporting Actress for her turn as Old Deuteronomy in 2019's much-maligned "Cats." She responded by first admitting she wasn't aware of just how negative the response to the movie was, then saying she has not seen it. She then offered what we imagine was the only positive thing she could say about the disaster. "I've only seen a picture of myself [from the movie]," Judi said. "I once had a cat like that, called Carpet, and I didn't realize I was playing Carpet," she added. "I thought I was playing a kind of, you know, mangier cat who didn't have much fur." And for the win? "I didn't realize I was this wonderful show cat!" This leaves us with one question: What kind of a casting director lets Judi Dench believe she's anything but a wonderful show cat?! He didn't seem to rule it out, but he cautioned that what he loves about his position at his alma mater is the bipartisan aspect of his job there. "I don't know," Matthew said. "Right now, this Minister of Culture/M.O.C. campaign keeps shining light on things that cross aisles. I wouldn't be interested in a political position if it would cut off access to what I believe in on the other side as well." On the other hand, he added, "But I just turned 50."
