The Kardashian-Jenner krewe are going to Costa Rica
Kim Kardashian West recently traveled to Dubai to make her first official public appearance since she was robbed in Paris. Now, she's getting ready to go on a real vacation with her family, making another break from her post-robbery habit of laying low as much as possible. An insider tells Us Weekly that Kim, plus Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian, Scott Disick, Khloe Kardashian, Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble, are planning to visit Costa Rica. Kanye West, Caitlyn Jenner and new parents Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna are sitting this one out, according to multiple sources. In November, Us reported Kim spent nearly a month indoors after she was robbed at gunpoint. Since then, she's reportedly made changes to keep herself safe, from cutting back on the expensive jewelry she used to wear in public to posting less often on social media.

Who runs the world? If you're talking about the film world, it is, in large part, these familiar faces. Natalie Portman, Emma Stone, Amy Adams, Lupita Nyong'o, Ruth Negga, Dakota Fanning, Elle Fanning, Dakota Johnson, Greta Gerwig, Aja Naomi King and Janelle Monáe appear on the cover of Vanity Fair's 2017 Women in Hollywood edition. And as E! News observes, the 11 of them share a combined 12 Oscar nominations and two Oscar wins. The actresses' old-school glamour is captured in tones of gold, pink and red by Annie Leibovitz, who also photographed Natalie Portman revealing her pregnant belly a la Demi Moore circa 1991 for the issue.

Even Zayn Malik's keys are all about Gigi
Stahp it with the cuteness! Despite constant speculation about whether Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid are breaking up or getting married (depending on the day, apparently), Zayn's quick appearance in New York on Tuesday, Jan. 24, confirmed he's got a serious case of gigi-on-the-brain. And on the keys. E! News spotted the singer climbing out of an SUV when he arrived back in town. As he headed inside an apartment complex to catch up with his girl, a paparazzo honed in on the large graphic keychain in his hand. It read "gigi" in black and white script. Because of course.
Are French Montana and Ljay Currie fighting over Iggy Azalea?
In case you thought the world needed another social media feud … Iggy Azalea's new guy's got ya covered. Following the Australian rapper's PDA-heavy hang with music producer Ljay Currie in Mexico over the weekend, Ljay got a not-so-nice tweet from his new girl's ex, French Montana. "Play with my emotions I'm shoot your punk A— … lol," French wrote. According to TMZ the tweet was a response to a photo on LJay's Instagram that appeared to show him wearing a diamond ring identical to the one French gave Iggy when they were dating. Iggy's dogs were also reportedly in the picture. All of this seems like a complicated way to argue to us, but whatever floats your boats, guys …
Cyndi Lauper reacts to Madonna's Women's March speech
In Madonna's controversial Women's March speech, she admitted she was "angry" and "have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House" before admitting she knows anger "won't change anything" and declaring "I choose love." It was the blowing up of the White House, though, that got most folks' attention. When Cyndi Lauper stopped by "Watch What Happens Live" this week, Andy Cohen checked in to see what the singer thought of her pop music peer's remarks. She wasn't feeling them. "I was glad that she went," Cyndi said of Madge (via the Daily Mail). "I think it happens a lot when you are really jacked up, feeling your emotions. I don't think it served our purpose because anger is not better than clarity and humanity." Later, she compared Madonna's approach to the one Scarlett Johansson employed in her speech. "[Scarlett] shared her story. It was clear and it was eloquent," she said. "Yelling doesn't. It just jacks people up but it doesn't communicate any type of humanity or any kind of story that would open another person's mind."
Pamela Anderson visits refugee camp: 'Closing borders is not the answer'
During a surprise visit to France's Camp de la Liniere, a refugee camp outside Dunkirk, Pamela Anderson was changed forever. She wrote about the experience on her blog in a post that began, "I'm leaving Dunkirk now. I'm speechless. I'm so angry." She went on to describe how she'd given supplies to keep refugees warm, fed and vaguely entertained (via crayons and animal-themed coloring books. "The children are so lovely and polite," she wrote. "Some were so fearful they wouldn't get a blanket or crayons or an apple -It was chaos. I'll never forget today." Pamela also shouted out "the amazing" volunteers whose "selfless" work she admires before sharing scenes of the fear and dangers refugees face every day in the camp, which is expected to close later this year. "People must see what is happening," she writes. "Beautiful and innocent people are shown such little respect. … The kids hugged and kissed me …I'll never be the same." She went on to encourage "more people to come visit and volunteer if at all possible," adding that, "closing borders, and closing people out is not the answer."
Eva Amurri reflects on breast-feeding anxiety
After a night nurse dropped Eva Amurri Martino's son Major, causing him to fracture his skull, she became overwhelmed with anxiety and postpartum depression that in turn seemed to make her body stop producing milk. As she explained in a blog post earlier this month, she finally realized she had to stop breastfeeding her 3-month-old. "What made this even worse is how much I would blame myself for it all. I would put so much pressure on myself to battle the anxiety so that my son's food source wouldn't suffer. When I would fall short (which you always do when you try to strong-arm anxiety!), I would feel even worse for 'failing' my son," she explains in the post (via Us Weekly). She thought about including formula in Major's diet but recalled she was afraid "the Breastfeeding Police were going to somehow know the second I made the decision and blame me for not trying hard enough, for not battling through and finding a solution." Eva goes on to say that she couldn't bring herself to use formula at first, "even though I remembered how much happier Marlowe and I both were when I started formula with her at four months." Finally, her husband Kyle Martino encouraged her to "stop torturing" herself. At this point, Major was 11 weeks old and my morale was in the toilet. Between my pumping and feeding schedule, and my hyper-vigilance surrounding Major and his safety, I was barely leaving the house," she recalled. Eva closed by saying she now uses HIPP Organic formula. "This wasn't an easy decision for me, but I will say that I felt a great sense of relief after making it. I think as Moms it's never easy to make a decision based on our own needs, but it's important to remember that as Mamas we are the beacons of light that our children follow. If we are miserable it's very challenging to make our kids happy and to help them shine as brilliantly as they deserve to. Secure your own oxygen mask before helping other passengers!"
Celebs protest Donald Trump's decision to move forward with pipelines
Celebs like Mark Ruffalo and Shailene Woodley are among the thousands of Americans voicing their anger over Donald Trump's green-light action for the Dakota Access and Keystone XL Pipelines this week. Both actors have provided major support to protests against the Dakota pipeline in the past, citing how it would jeopardize the safety of drinking water for the Standing Rock Sioux and pointing out, as others have, that building pipelines on native American land shows a lack of respect for the rights of indigenous people across the country. On Thursday, Jan. 26, Mark continued his protest online, tweeting stats like the number of permanent jobs a pipeline would create (35, for the record). "Don't believe 'alternative facts' magical pipeline job growth numbers," he posted. "An inconvenient spill: Pipeline burst provides perfect reminder of why DAPL shouldn't be built #NoDAPL," he tweeted the day before, sharing a link to the massive pipeline spill in Canada on native land one day after the president signed off on allowing work to continue on the Dakota and Keystone XL pipelines. Other celebs who continue to tweet their support of the Standing Rock Sioux and protest of the pipelines include Shailene Woodley — who told MSNBC this week opponents of the pipelines should hold corporations and banks accountable for their potential investments them — as well as Adrian Grenier, Rosario Dawson and Mia Farrow.
Oprah Winfrey is launching a meal line
Oprah Winfrey's never been shy about sharing her weight struggles with fans. Now, she's working on a new way to help those fans eat affordable, nutritious meals, the easy way. A new collaboration with Kraft Heinz yielded Mealtime Stories, a line of ready-to-eat, refrigerated meals from Oprah herself, according to Food & Wine. Ten percent of profits from Mealtime Stories will go to "charities aimed at eradicating hunger," according to the website. Go Oprah!
