Kristen Bell on Anna Faris, Chris Pratt's split: 'It's more nuanced' than people think
After days of new revelations about what's behind Chris Pratt and Anna Faris' split after eight years of marriage, Kristen Bell is here to try our tears. "I think there's a little bit of lack of acknowledgment about really loving something that was," she explained to E! News this week. "If there are two people that decide not to be together, it shouldn't really be a heartbreak for everyone. You should say, 'Oh, they tried. But that doesn't discount the lovely years they had together.' If I ever get divorced, I'm still going to be like, 'Wow, I loved being married to that man.' It's a little more nuanced I think than people want to acknowledge. I think it's the truth." She went on to point out that she while other people's choices "might make us sad for a while," that's what happens in life and she refuses to "fault" anyone for what they decide they need to do. E! also asked about reports suggesting Anna and Chris split because of their work or their rumored habit of competing for laughs. She shrugged it off. "I don't necessarily know that it's 'Hollywood' that gets in the way. The reality is when you're working in this industry you're sometimes shooting a movie in China for four months. You're away from your family for four months. I think it's more the separation than anything that can weigh on people," Kristen said. When it comes to her own marriage to Dax Shepard, Kristen explained she's all for being careful: "We go to couple's therapy. We make sure that we're talking with respect to each other. When we sit down to have a disagreement it's a disagreement, not an argument." Now that we have that advice out of the way, you may return to your previously scheduled weeping and "LoveIsDead" hashtagging.

Amber Rose wants to marry 21 Savage
When you're famous, a little bit scandalous and ready to get hitched, what better way to fill your boyfriend in than by talking wedding bells with TMZ? The website caught up with Amber Rose this week, hoping to get an update on the defamation lawsuit filed by the mother of her ex Wiz Khalifa. Instead, they got the 33-year-old model's smitten chatter about her boyfriend 21 Savage. "Let's talk about how much in love I am, how happy I am," she told the reporter, changing the subject from the lawsuit. "I just got back from Atlanta. I'm in love, I'm happy." Asked if she's thinking of marrying the 24-year-old rapper, Amber admitted, "I wanna marry him, but we'll see." She's reportedly in the process of getting a legal team organized to help her pursue a restraining order against Wiz Khalifa's mom.

Salma Hayek pitches in on cooking, babysitting duties at Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively's house
Maybe they're "just like us" after all. This week, Salma Hayek shared a photo from a visit to her pals Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively's house that showed her lending a hand in the kitchen. Make that both hands. While Ryan hovered in the background near what looked like a jar of baby food and Blake, we assume snapped a photo, Salma suddenly found herself stirring the meal on the stove while holding the couple's 10-month-old daughter Ines — a move anyone will recognize if they've visited child-rearing friends who are more than ready to let their little one spend some quality time with their guest. "When your friends invite you for dinner and you end up doing all the work," Salma joked in the caption, adding the Spanish translation and a shoutut to "The Hitman's Bodyguard," which she shot with Ryan. "Cuando tus amigos te invitan a cenar y acabas haciéndole todo tu. #hitmansbodyguard #ryanreynolds #tbt." Speaking to E! News, Salma recently said she's "close to" Blake and called her "my girl."
Lara Spencer shows off her abs of steel
Yesterday, we gave you a heads up that we needed to talk about Kelly Ripa's, well, ripped-ness. Today? Allow us to direct your attention to Lara Spencer's insane abs. The 48-year-old "Good Morning America" host shared an Instagram photo from vacation in which she showed off her svelte six-pack to fans. It didn't take long before the aforementioned tummy was making headlines across the web. As Us Weekly reminds us, Lara was a nationally ranked competitive platform diver when she was in college at the University of Penssylvania (did we mention, she's got plenty of gray matter above those abs?). These days, she recently told Shape, she keeps fit with yoga and tennis and eats what she wants — which happens to be "clean foods" like kale, spinach, broccoli and blueberries, "in moderation."
Taylor Swift throws big-time shade at former DJ's lawyer during sexual assault trial
If they handed out Grammy Awards for comebacks, Taylor Swift's testimony during her sexual assault trial would be this year's winner. A rundown published by Vulture surveys the best moments in which the singer retaliated calmly — and sometimes hilariously — at attorney Gabe McFarland's attempts to persuade the jury that his client, former radio DJ David Mueller, had not groped Taylor's rear during a 2013 meet and greet. (To recap, the DJ actually sued Taylor first because he lost his job when she told the station what she maintains he did to her. She promptly countersued.) For starters, Taylor called David's lawyer by his first name, Gabe. When Gabe suggested if Taylor was upset about a groping incident she "could have taken a break," she replied: "And your client could have taken a normal photo with me," according to Vulture. When Gabe held up the photo that was taken while Taylor says the DJ's hand was up her skirt touching her and said it looked like everything was fine, Taylor said: "Gabe, this is a photo of him with his hand up my skirt — with his hand on my a–. You can ask me a million questions — I'm never going to say anything different. I never have said anything different." Gabe later said the front of skirt looked normal for a hand to be up there. Take it away, Taylor: "Because my a– is located in the back of my body." Gabe suggested another woman near Taylor in the photo could have done the offending deed, Taylor said, "Yes, she did not have her hand on my a—." A potentially guilt-inducing question about how David lost his job because of Taylor's allegation earned this reply: "I'm not going to allow you or your client make me feel in any way that this is my fault. Here we are years later, and I'm being blamed for the unfortunate events of his life that are the product of his decisions — not mine." Finally, asked why there were no eyewitnesses to the incident, Taylor offered this: "The only person who would have a direct eye line is someone laying underneath my skirt and we didn't have anyone positioned there."
Kim Kardashian addresses mommy-shamers after car seat criticism
Calm down, mommy-shamers. Kim Kardashian West is aware parents are advised not to let their kids face forward in a car seat before they're 2 or before they reach the top end, height and weight-wise, of what their car seat's manufacturer says the seat can handle. In a YouTube post on Thursday, Aug. 10, Kim addressed those who had criticized her after she shared a recent photo of her 1-year-old son Saint facing forward in his car seat. "So I took a photo of Saint and he was sitting forward and so they say for his age, he should be rear-facing," Kim said. "But what people didn't know is that Saint is now the weight and the height requirement to sit forward-facing. [Four-year-old] Saint actually weighs more than North. If that is believable, he does, and it is wild." According to E! News, the max height and weight for most car seats is about 40 pounds and 40 inches.
Bill Murray went back to see 'Groundhog Day' again
It is "Groundhog Day" after all. The night after Bill Murray earned his latest round of adulation for being nothing short of adorable and emotive while watching "Groundhog Day" on Broadway in New York City this week, he returned to the August Wilson Theater to see it again. As he had done the evening prior, he shared his reactions with the cast. "I had some observations watching it again, and it's really beautiful," he said, according to the New York Post. "As the product of the story turns to joy, the audience gets more and more excited. You have an unusual opportunity to do something that just really affects people." Before leaving, he assured the actors: You're killing 'em … You may quote me on that. I'm not much of a beer guy but I'm going to drink to that."
Kate Beckinsale insists she's had no work done
Kate Beckinsale is over the endless suspicions about what makes her face look so ridiculously young. "You can see I haven't done anything," she implores a reporter in a new interview with Elle about her film, "The Only Living Boy in New York." She smooshes up her face, she glares, she frowns — and Elle's crack reporter assures us, all those features and lines actually move. "I know that paralyzing one's face must be a bad idea," Kate says, "but I'm accused of it constantly." Searching for some beauty tip — even Kate's favorite facial — only gets the interviewer what sounds like sarcasm. "I like that thing where they take blood out of your arms," she offers, "spin it round, and then put it on your face." Sigh. You're no help, lady.
Queen Latifah talks wanting to be a mom and when it might happen
Last year, Queen Latifah told E! News that while she's a "procrastinator," she's "always wanted to bring a child home." "I had some things to deal with. I had to get a lot of partying out of my system early in life for about 40 years. You know what I'm saying?" she joked. "I'm good now. I think I'm ready." A year has passed since then and as someone at this week's TCA panel for her new Lee Daniels' show "The Star" noticed, there's still no princess or prince in Queen Latifah's life. Never say never, though. "You'll know when you see me with the rugrat on my shoulder with the little backpack and all this. 'Oh, she did it!'" Latifah said, according to Us Weekly. "That's kind of how it will happen." We'll keep an eye out!
That time Bryan Cranston got caught having sex on a train …
Sometimes sex ain't that sexy. Case in point: When Bryan Cranston and his wife Robin tried to get, um, intimate during their anniversary vacation. "My beautiful wife Robin and I, who celebrated our 28th anniversary recently — admittedly a cheap applause line," he began, recounting the story to Conan O'Brien this week (via ET). "We were in Europe for our honeymoon and one of the parts of the trip was to go from Switzerland to Italy, and they said, 'Take the train,'" he continued. "The travel agent said, 'By the way, the third tunnel is 50 minutes long. It's traditional for honeymooners to take advantage of that time.' I said, 'Are you ready to burn seven calories?'" Heck, why not, they thought. "We're reclining, going, and we're enjoying our love making," he said, letting a laugh escape. "Within a short period of time, I start seeing the features of my beautiful wife's face and I'm thinking my eyes are getting acclimated to this … Within seconds, WHAM, we're out in broad daylight." Their kids, by the way, were among the people on the train who could see them. "And my gorgeous wife says to me those three words you always want to hear," Bryan recalled, 'Get off me.'"
