Kristin Cavallari admits marriage to Jay Cutler 'isn't perfect'

After going through couples therapy — and having three kids — Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler understand having a happy marriage doesn't come easy. The "Balancing in Heels" author, who wrote about her "imperfect" marriage in the memoir, opened up to Us Weekly recently about what keeps her relationship strong. "Honestly, I think communication and it's so much easier said than done," she admitted. "I know that Jay and I have to make a conscious effort. You have to put in work for a relationship. You can't just get complacent and lazy. You have to still value and appreciate the other person. I think that when you don't that's probably when you start to get in trouble. And, I mean, we have our issues. Our relationship isn't perfect. But we love each other and we work on it and we make a conscious choice to work on the relationship and I think that that's what you just have to do." Though she said the two haven't been to therapy much lately, she noted that they've kept in mind what they learned when they were seeing a counselor. "We have a lot of great tools that we learned from therapy and I think that was the most beneficial part." The couple recently relocated to Nashville after Jay was released from the Chicago Bears and signed on to be a commentator with FOX.

Speaking to Mario Lopez on his radio show on Wednesday, June 21, Miley Cyrus' mom Tish said her daughter and Liam Hemsworth are in no rush to appease the world with a lavish ceremony. "She is not eloping. She is not getting married. They are so freaking happy and living in Malibu," Tish said, according to Us Weekly. "She's so happy, and she's always like, 'I don't know why everybody wants us to get married. It's so perfect.' She's 24. She's got time." As for the wedding itself? Tish is pretty sure Miley will go low-key. "Of course I probably would [want a big wedding]. She would never do that, I don't think," Tish said. "She's a simple, simple girl. I don't think so. I want all my kids to have big weddings." Miley began wearing her engagement ring again in 2015, two years after she and Liam first called off their engagement.

Engraved with the date Feb. 23, 1963, the watch was a gift to the former First Lady from her brother-in-law Prince Stanislaw Radziwill.

Khloe Kardashian isn't the only one who's excited about her relationship with Tristan Thompson. When E! News caught up with Khloe's bestie Malike Haqq recently, she explained why the Cleveland Cavaliers star seems like a perfect fit for Khloe. "I am so happy for Khloe and Tristan. They're a match," she said. "They're great friends. Their relationship is incredibly effortless. It's what you want to be. The sky's the limit to me when it comes to their relationship. They can do anything as long as they stay exactly the way they are right now." The way Malike sees it, Khloe and Tristan share similarities that run deep in their hearts. "Tristan's a very grounded, sound human being that comes from a great family …," she said. "Sometimes you recognize other people come from similar backgrounds that might work a little more closely to the way you were raised or the way you do things. Morals and boundaries and all those things are really important and I think that they have a lot of the same morals and goals in life. I think that's why their relationship is successful." Asked if she thinks there might be wedding bells in the couple's future, she would only say, "I won't say what they won't do. I believe that they can do anything, the two of them. I really do."

As the new creative director for a Versace capsule collection, Zayn Malik is moving even further into his girlfriend, Gigi Hadid's fashion world. But when the two are at home, they're happy to simply enjoy one another's company like any other couple. "We just spend time together as a normal couple, cook food, watch TV, have a laugh," he recently told the London Evening Standard (via Celebitchy). He also opened up about being Muslim, British and traveling regularly for work in 2017. "I take a great sense of pride — and responsibility — in knowing that I am the first of my kind, from my background," he said. "I'm not currently practicing but I was raised in the Islamic faith, so it will always be with me, and I identify a lot with the culture. But I'm just me. I don't want to be defined by my religion or my cultural background." Of course, in some countries, he is defined that way whether he wants to be or not. "The first time I came to America, I had three security checks before I got on the plane," he recalled. "First they said that I'd been randomly selected, and then they said it was something to do with my name, it was flagging something on their system … Then when I landed, it was like a movie. They kept me there for three hours, questioning me about all kinds of crazy stuff. I was 17, my first time in America, jet-lagged off the plane, confused. The same thing happened the next time too. I understand the level of caution that needs to be taken, especially now, in the light of certain events at home. I don't think there's any benefit to getting angry — it's something that comes with the climate. I understand why they've got to do it."

Mel B calls Stephen Belafonte's spousal support request 'exorbitant'

Stephen Belafonte needs to get a higher paying job or reevaluate his budget. That's according to his ex, Mel B, who filed documents this week opposing Stephen's request for spousal support. According to TMZ, Stephen wants $4,300 for food and groceries, $2,000 a month for clothing, $11,000 a month for housing and $750 a month for his phone bill, which she called "exorbitant." Stephen is reportedly working full-time at the restaurant he and Mel B own together. If he's not making enough money to cover his expenses there, Mel says in the court papers, he "should get a job at a different restaurant." Mel filed for divorce earlier this year after nearly 10 years of marriage.

"It may not seem significant to you, but that's how we start," Halle continued. "Have you called your local politicians, have you written a letter?' When they say they've done nothing, I say, 'Well, don't talk to me … because you are part of the problem, because you are sitting here spewing negativity and complaining. "It's tough because there are boxes people want to put actors and actresses in all the time. And when you look at the landscape of network television, those character archetypes are very limited because you need to appeal to mass audiences," she says (via Celebitchy). "The idea is to give only slight variations on things that they've seen before, that they're comfortable with. They want to watch women that are beautiful, whether they're slightly quirky, or the romantic lead. They always need to have their hair in the perfect place, and things like that. With streaming services and the amount of content being produced for television, artists and creators are able to take risks, in terms of the types of stories they're telling and creating. Netflix is at the forefront of that, giving the artists freedom to express their vision."
