Lindsay Lohan wants to star in "The Little Mermaid"
Lindsay Lohan is ready to reunite with the Mouse House! The once Disney darling is angling for a role in the live-action adaptation of "The Little Mermaid." The actress, who is currently working on an MTV reality show, shared a photo on Instagram on Aug. 13 expressing her desire. The photo was of Princess Ariel along with villain Ursula. Over the photo, Lohan wrote, "My dream Role with #MerylStreep" and tagged @disneystudios in the caption, along with emojis of a mermaid and hands in prayer. The dream casting of Streep is not completely random, as Lohan and Streep worked together on the 2006 movie, "A Prairie Home Companion." However, the studio has not made any casting decisions thus far, only sharing that Lin-Manuel Miranda of "Hamilton" fame will produce and co-write the music.

Helicopter swarms Rihanna's home after false security alarm
Rihanna's security system is next level! On Aug. 13, the alarm system of singer's Los Angeles home was accidentally triggered, sending a swarm of law enforcement to her house. The Fenty Beauty creator, who was away from home at the time, had her home visited by multiple police cars and even a helicopter that monitored overhead, according to a report on TMZ. According to their law enforcement sources, the dramatic response was due in part to Rihanna's past history with home invaders. In May, a man accessed her property and spent the night there before cops arrested him. At the time he said he was there to have sex with the "Love on the Brain" singer.

Gwyneth Paltrow forgets her credit card during shopping spree
Even Gywneth Paltrow forgets things sometimes! The Goop founder was in the Hamptons this weekend and embarked on a shopping trip with her daughter Apple, 14, Page Six reports. The twosome were at Blue & Cream in posh East Hampton when the 45-year-old realized she had no way to pay, having forgotten her credit card. According to a source, Paltrow was "mortified," although the crisis was quickly averted as she realized she could purchase their items using Apple Pay on her phone.

Anthony Bourdain's apartment is for rent
Two months after Anthony Bourdain's suicide the culinary extraordinaire's New York apartment is back on the market. According to StreetEasy, the "Parts Unknown" host's pad is renting for a whopping $14,200 a month. The apartment has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, but it's the amenities of the Columbus Circle apartment (a stones throw from Central Park) that sets it over the top. The listing boasts that the building features "full time doormen, concierge service, health club, spa, residents' lounge, screening room, landscaped sundeck and garage. Moments away from shops, transportation, world class restaurants, and Whole Foods."

In a new interview with allure, Bella Hadid opens up about her beauty idol. The 21-year-old model confessed that she is amazed by Cher. "I have always been obsessed with [her]…. She still to this day goes out on stage and is so major, and I aspire to be like her for the rest of my life. If you talk to her now she just has so much joy and she's such an amazing person." And Hadid isn't just admiring Cher from afar, she's had the superstar in her life since childhood, as she is one of Hadid's best friend's godmother. "Growing up she kind of taught me about the ins and outs, which was really cool," she explained. Like her idol, Hadid says she wants to take risks with her looks. "I definitely want to do a pixie cut. I want to do bangs again. I want to go blonde, and right now, I'm obsessed with long hair — I love a long weave," she shared.
Stormy Daniels joins cast of "Celebrity Big Brother"
Stormy Daniels is extending her 15 minutes of fame, nabbing a role on the UK's "Celebrity Big Brother," Page Six reports. Daniels, who claims she had an affair with President Donald Trump, is a perfect fit for the theme of the season, "The Eye of the Storm," which will feature celebs who have been caught up in media controversies. Joining Daniels will be reportedly be outspoken Scientologist Kirstie Alley, along with TV psychic Sally Morgan, Ben Jardine of "Married At First Sight," Natalie Nunn of "Bad Girls Club," kidnapped British model Chloe Ayling, shamed trader Nick Leeson and Human Ken doll Rodrigo Alves. There have also been reports that Meghan Markle's half-sister Samantha Grant will appear on the show.

Aww! On Aug. 13, Khloe Kardashian posted the most adorable photo of her 4-month-old daughter, True, with basketball player Tristan Thompson. In the Instagram picture, the happy baby girl is wearing a sparkly dress, smiling wide and wearing a crystal tiara fit for a princess. "You don't know this yet but you're my best friend for all eternity," the youngest Kardashian daughter captioned the photo.
Tyrese Gibson is having some major money issues
Tyrese Gibson is spending way beyond his means. TMZ reports that the model turned actor is claiming he cannot pay for his ex-wife Norma Gibson's divorce attorney in documents obtained by the outlet. According to the docs, Gibson says he is spending $114,000 each month, which includes his mortgage, child support payments, child care, utilities and groceries. However, he isn't making nearly that amount, citing his average monthly income is around $51,000 a month — meaning he is spending over twice what he earns in a month, and his bank account is feeling it. The legal docs reveal that in November he had around $800,000 in cash, but due to his spending, it's dwindled to $130,000 now. He blames his ex for his money problems in the docs, claiming that her abuse allegations have made it difficult for him to find work.
Luann de Lesseps does first post-rehab interview
Luann de Lesseps has broken her silence following her second rehab stint in a year, sitting down with Megyn Kelly on Aug. 14 for a live interview on Today. "I feel good. I feel great actually, but every day is a struggle. I take it day by day," the "Real Housewives of New York" star explained. "I'm going to be 30 days sober tomorrow, so I'm celebrating, and I have this whole new life." The former Countess told Kelly it's best she stop drinking at all. "It's good because I can't drink, and really at this point I feel like I'm almost allergic to alcohol because I can't be like most normal people and have a glass or two of wine. I'll drink the whole bottle and then I'm looking where can I get another bottle? It just doesn't work for me. I'm just not wired that way," she explained. "I can't have one drink. I don't know when to stop." But she says she's committed to sobriety now. "I have this whole new life now," she shared. "I go to AA meetings, and I follow up my treatment now that I'm back from rehab. I take it very seriously."

The couple, who have been married for 12 years, headed to the spot favorited by stars like George Clooney, walking in hand-in-hand. Spelling, who has five children with McDermott — Liam, Hattie, Stella, Finn and Beau — has stressed the importance of time alone with her husband. "Our time together is as important as our time with our children," she told Us Weekly in October. "We know how to do it differently now. For so many years, we kind of didn't know how to find time for ourselves, it was all about the kids, because we did start having kids right away."
