Mariah Carey plunks down five figures on a birthday gift
Say what you will about Mariah Carey's high-end taste; we kinda doubt her crew has a problem with it, thanks to the seeming trickle-down effect of her spending habits. This week, Mariah threw a birthday party for her manager, Stella Bulochnikov, at Catch LA, where she presented the birthday gal with five-figure token of her affection. As Mimi's own music blared from the restaurant's sound system (because Mariah), she reportedly wheeled a $34,000 Louis Vuitton trunk out from the back room while carrying sparklers, according to a New York Post source. Waitresses trailed Mariah and the trunk with champagne and more sparklers. "Stella was all smiles from beginning to end," said the insider. "Her daughters even gave her a Balenciaga bag."
