Matthew McConaughey addresses that Janet Jackson rumor of yore
The Thursday, Jan. 24, edition of "Watch What Happens Live" featured multiple major revelations … There was his confusion about a certain term related to the personal grooming habits of men who, shall we say, leave little to the imagination a la the characters in "Magic Mike." There was a tidbit about what happened to that thong Matthew wore when he played a stripper named Dallas in the aforementioned stripper flick. ("That was my rattlesnake thong. No one else needed to be wearing that thong," he told a caller.) And there was, at long last, his acknowledgment during "Plead the Fifth" of the long-circulated rumor that he once went out with Janet Jackson. "Can you confirm or deny, and how would you describe your relationship with her?" Andy Cohen asked. Mathew laughed out loud for more than a few minutes, according to the Daily Mail. "You got the answer from that, didn't you?" he asked as his giggles subsided. "Did I?" Andy pressed. "We went and had dinner one night. That was sorta it," Matthew said. So, confirmed. And you thought the idiot box had nothing important to teach us …

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin are looking into tropical destinations for wedding No. 2
If those months of secrecy around whether Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin were officially married after visiting a New York City courthouse last fall didn't satisfy your appetite for Bieber nuptial chatter, you're in luck! We got more … TMZ reported this week the newlyweds have again postponed plans to have a second wedding with family and friends present. Now, an insider tells People the main reason for the delay is the two are hashing out ideas for a warm, beachy getaway-focused celebration of their love. "Justin and Hailey both love tropical destinations. They are currently looking into options for a tropical wedding," says the source (via the Daily Mail). The ditched plan to say "I do" (again) in late February has reportedly been replaced with plans for Hailey to walk down the aisle in April or May. "Although they are already married, they both want their wedding to be perfect," says the source. "Hailey is working closely with their planner and figuring everything out. She is very excited to plan her wedding." As TMZ previously noted, a destination wedding for the couple's religious ceremony will mean a smaller guest — although famous inner circle friends like Kylie Jenner, Travis Scott and Drake will likely remain on the list.

Blac Chyna's kids are 'healthy and doing very well' after LAPD home visit
Following a 911 call about an alleged disturbance at Blac Chyna's home in the San Fernando Valley over the weekend, Chyna's lawyer, Lisa Bloom has issued a statement to People assuring readers the children her client shares with Rob Kardashian and Tyga are fine and there was never any cause for concern. "Chyna's children, King Cairo and Dream Renée, are both healthy and doing very well. They were never in any danger and any reports to the contrary are entirely false," the attorney said. "I remind the public that anyone who submits a knowingly false report to Child Protective Services may be subject to criminal and civil liability," she added. The update comes after police visited Chyna on the heels of an alleged argument between Chyna and a makeup artist. Police later went back to the home when the stylist returned to pick up her belongings merely "to keep the peace." Last week, Chyna was reportedly in a dustup with "Love & Hip Hop" star, Alexis Skyy — who remains friends with Chyna's ex, Rob Kardashian. Rob and Chyna have been fighting over child support for months in court.
Megyn Kelly and Samantha Bee attend jury duty on the same day
"It was more like a casting call than jury duty." That's how a spy for Page Six described the scene at 60 Centre Street in New York City this week. It seems Megyn Kelly, whose high-profile exit from "Today" has more than made it clear she's got time on her hands, along with Samantha Bee and David Schwimmer were all called to jury duty on the same day. Although Megyn called out the "Full Frontal" host last year for using a four-letter "c" word to describe Ivanka Trump, the Page Six snitch says Megyn "talked Samantha's ear off," adding that Samantha "looked trapped." A second onlooker disagreed, saying, "They both got on with each other. They hit it off and even exchanged emails, but there wasn't much time to talk there." When she received the jury summons, Megyn joked about her schedule on social media, posting. "Slightly concerned about the effectiveness of the 'I'm far too busy' excuse this time."
Why Jada Pinkett Smith is so candid about her marriage on 'Red Table Talk'
On her popular "Red Table Talk" series on Facebook Watch, Jada Pinkett Smith regularly opens up about extremely personal aspects of her life and of her family's lives. So when she spoke with Rachel Martin for the Friday, Jan. 25 edition of "Morning Edition" on NPR, rthe host wondered why someone who had long been very private about her life suddenly had a change of heart. Jada explained that part of her recent personal "growth" has come from hearing others "who had the courage to be very transparent with me," which inspired her to try and open up that same conversation to others. Jada, whose marriage to Will Smith has often been hit with cheating rumors, also said one subject she's been trying to find the best way to broach has been infidelity. "People have a lot of romantic and fantasy ideas around relationships. And considering the powerful journey that [Will] and I have been taking together, I really thought it was important to shatter, you know, whatever façade had been out there," she said of her decision to be candid about her marriage. "Now that I'm older, and with all the work that I've done, I feel like I have the capacity to be more transparent — and luckily enough, so does my family," she said. "So just because there are certain things that we talk about on the 'Red Table' doesn't mean that we don't have boundaries. But I don't see the necessity to hold on to knowledge of certain experiences that we've had."
Robert Redford to take a 'more backseat role' at Sundance: Deadline
After three and a half decades, Sundance Institute founder and president Robert Redford is moving on. He made the announcement at this week's kickoff press conference in Park City, Utah, telling a crowd that going forward, he will be "taking a more backseat role" at the annual celebration of indie filmmakers, according to Deadline. "Bye bye," he said from the stage. "Having done this for God, 34 years now, since the festival started. I think we are at a point where I can move on to a different place." Deadline points out the news comes after the 82-year-old film icon announced last year he would no longer be appearing on the big screen after "The Old Man & The Gun." As for Sundance, he explained: "I've been spending a lot of tine introducing things but I don't think that the festival needs a lot of introduction any more." He said that this year, he hopes to "spend more time with filmmakers," according to Deadline. After sharing his news, Robert reportedly introduced Sundance Institute Executive Director Keri Putnam. When he asked if he ought to take a seat onstage, she reportedly told him it was OK for him to split and he did.
Danielle Staub and Marty Caffrey's divorce could be finalized 'in a matter of weeks'
There may be light at the end of the tunnel for Danielle Staub and Marty Caffrey, who have continued living together amid bitter divorce proceedings. A source tells Us Weekly that the former couple's divorce has picked up the pace and should be "done in a matter of weeks." In the meantime, the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star and her ex are sharing their Englewood, New Jersey estate, but living "in different parts" of the home and "not really communicating that much." Shortly before Christmas, Danielle filed papers accusing her estranged husband of having abused her emotionally, verbally and physically throughout their marriage, which ended in September 2018, four months after they said "I do." Marty has denied the abuse allegations, telling Page Six Danielle wouldn't have wanted to reconcile, as he claims she did, if he had abused her.
Bethenny Frankel slams airlines for refusing to remove fish from menus after allergy scare
Bethenny Frankel's fish allergy drama isn't over yet. The "Real Housewives of New York" star apparently contacted an airline she was flying on to let them know of her severe fish allergy — the one that sent her to the hospital last month — and request that they not serve the fish they had on their menu during her flight. According to People, she said on social media that they refused to help her out. And while she initially kept the name of the airline off Twitter, later tweets appeared to identify Delta as the culprit, along with American which seems to have responded the same way when Bethenny asked them not to serve fish. "You can't write this. Now another airline is serving cooked salmon for my next flight," she tweeted on Wednesday, Jan. 23. "I have contacted them multiple times to no avail. I guess I'll have to take another poll w my cabin. BC everyone is dying to eat cooked fish on a plane." The next day, she added another post about the same issue, writing, "Ok tweeps please educate @delta who just told me that 'fish allergies are not considered airborne. Who has the article about the poor little boy who died of exactly that?" She was likely referring to the 11-year-old who died on New Year's Day because of the fish protein that was in the air. In a statement to People, Delta's spokesperson said the airline could only do certain things to protect those suffering food allergies. "We have been in touch with this customer directly to understand her allergy and do what we can to accommodate her needs to the best of our ability. As part of Delta's focus on creating a safe cabin experience for all customers, we have policies in place to support customers with allergies," the spokesperson said. "This includes making cabin announcements to alert other customers of known allergies, offering pre-boarding to customers with allergies so they can cleanse their immediate seating area, creating buffer zones onboard and offering a variety of special meals for customers with specific dietary needs." Earlier this month, the CEO of Delta told CNBC the partial government shutdown would cost the airline $25 million in January — which is probably not helping fliers making special requests.

Jenna Jameson to new moms: 'We can regain ourselves'
The flood of before and after pics continues for Jenna Jameson's Instagram feed. This week, the mother of three shared a photo she and her fiance, Lior Bitton, took while soaking up the sun in Palm Springs, California, alongside a recent more recent one. Jenna's pregnant with her daughter Batel Lu in the throwback pic, while the newer image highlights the 80-plus pounds she's lost since giving birth in April 2017. "I was just going through my images and I came across these beautiful pregnancy pics we took in Palm Springs. I was 38 weeks pregnant and felt like a truck. But I've never felt more beautiful than when I was with child," she writes in the caption. "I remember feeling so frightened for when my daughter was born and I couldn't blame being heavy on the pregnancy. Ugh," Jenna continues. "I prayed for breastfeeding to give me an easy way out. It didn't. I was scared my belly would sag down and never tighten. It sounds vain. But I think every mama on earth silently worries. Yes we love our babies and we would do it over again in a second, but we sacrifice so much!" She uses the end of the post to try and inspire other mothers to give themselves and their bodies space to get back to who they want to be. "This after picture shows that we can do it! We can regain ourselves," she writes. "We can do it without surgery (not that I'm against surgery) So to all of you sweet pregnant mamas out there or you newly postpartum mamas… I see you."
Are Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski tricking MSNBC viewers?
A new report from Page Six via an eagle-eyed Washington Post reporter hints that newlyweds Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski's "Morning Joe" production setup could be creating some tension for some involved with the show. While Washington, DC, backdrops make it look like the co-anchors are broadcasting from separate locations in the Beltway area, rather than from New York City, where the show is supposed to be filmed. The Post's Paul Farhi believes the couple are actually travelling together. "They're broadcasting from a home studio in Jupiter [in Florida]. And there's no formal set in their home studio, just a couple of (Washington) backdrops. Thus, a wide shot is out of the question," he tweeted this week. "Joe and Mika are actually sitting a few feet away from each other. But they each address their own camera rather than turning to speak to each other (because doing that would expose the fact that they're sitting on a makeshift set)." The Post reporter added that, "People on the show say the multistate production arrangement has caused some concern about its [effect] on the 'chemistry' of the panelists and the co-hosts." Page Six reports that the couple did the something similar back in 2017, making it look as if they were filming from the same location when they were actually on the road together. The MSNBC anchors married in a secret ceremony in the National Archives last fall after confirming their rumored romance with an engagement announcement in May 2017.
