Pauley Perrette says she'll never return to 'NCIS'
Pauley Perrette is tired of being asked if she's returning to "NCIS." She has no problem explaining why she won't be back, either. "NO I AM NOT COMING BACK! EVER! (Please stop asking?)," she tweeted on Friday, June 7. "I am terrified of Harmon and him attacking me. I have nightmares about it. I have a new show that is SAFE AND HAPPY! You'll love it! #HappyPlace Love y'all!" The actress also shared a photo of a crew member she said had 15 stitches and a black eye after being bitten by Mark's dog. "You think I didn't expect blow back? You got me wrong," she tweeted. "THIS happened To my crew member and I fought like hell to keep it from happening again! To protect my crew! And then I was physically assaulted for saying NO!?and I lost my job." Pauley left the show in 2018 after 15 seasons there, saying "multiple physical assaults" on the set left her no other choice, according to USA Today. "Pauley Perrette had a terrific run on NCIS and we are all going to miss her," CBS said in a statement at the time. "Over a year ago, Pauley came to us with a workplace concern. We took the matter seriously and worked with her to find a resolution. We are committed to a safe work environment on all our shows." When Pauley made her final appearance in last week's episode, it was without any interaction from Mark. "She did her scenes on one day and he did his work on other days, and they still produced a great show," an insider told The Wrap of Pauley and Mark's post-dog bite avoidance of one another. "It was simply scheduled that they did not work the same days." Requests for comment have been either declined or not returned to The Wrap and USA Today.

Kylie Jenner avoids run-ins with Tristan Thompson, Ben Simmons
NBA superfan Drake hosted an exclusive party at Delilah in Los Angeles on Wednesday, June 5, and while guests included Kylie Jenner and two of her sisters' exes, everyone reportedly played it cool. E! News reports both Kendall Jenner's former beau, Ben Simmons, and Khloe Kardashian's ex-boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, were at the bash, which Kylie arrived at late with some female friends. She reportedly stuck by an inside booth while Ben spent some time with "a brunette woman he brought" and Tristan chilled and drank with two men he'd come with. "Kylie stayed in a corner of the bar the entire time while the guys were lingering around separately," a source told the outlet. "It definitely looked like Ben brought the women as a date and she stayed by his side the entire night lingering around with him," the partygoer added. Tristan, meanwhile, "wasn't shy to talk to women at all, but wasn't flirting with anyone specific," according to the source.
The New York Times responds to Madonna's profile critique
Madonna was not pleased with her New York Times profile this week, which she slammed for focusing on "superficial" details before calling the paper "one of the founding fathers of the Patriarchy." Judging from the Times' summary of her response to the piece on social media, the Times wasn't pleased with her, either. "Wait—what's Madonna mad about?" asked editor Choire Siche. "(Surprise, though, and a spoiler — Madonna absolutely despises this profile, viciously and graphically described on her Instagram, though I'm unclear on why. It's often awful to be written about! It's a very normal reaction, and I think it's amplified for people who are very regimented and used to being in control of their lives)," Choire continued, adding that Madge has "grown ever more remote and has always been a bit inarticulate, even as she stays in the popular imagination and in the rotation of playlists." For her part — and to answer Choire's inquiry — Madonna was mad that she was subject to observations she felt would not have been included had she been a man. "Women have a really hard time being the champions of other women," Madonna wrote on Instagram, "even if they are posing as intellectual feminists."

Cardi B defends her Billboard Top 100 Songwriters spot
Cardi B is defending her appearance on the Billboard 100 Songwriters chart after a social media user questioned how she got there. "[It's] Because I do write a lot of my s— that's the thing," the rapper assured the troll (via E! News). "Yes just like every other artist I do have a couple writer that help with hooks but I wrote plenty of songs on my album specially my mixtape ." She added a few not-so-PG thoughts to the post from there. Cardi, who drpped her new single, "Press," last week, is expected to release her second studio album later this year.
Halle Berry is probably not putting that 'Catwoman' suit back on 'in this life'
It remains to be seen where Halley Berry's "John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum" performance will get ranked, but it's a good bet Halle, 52, will have fun with the response either way. As she told Sean Evans on "First We Feat's Hot Ones" this week, Halle still gets random feedback about her "Catwoman" performance — and she doesn't even remember much about winning a Best Actress Oscar in 2002 for "Monster's Ball." "I was inebriated … I don't remember any of it, none of it," she admitted (via the Daily Mail). "Very shortly after I got that statue, I became inebriated to the point where the whole night is a wash." As for "Catwoman," she said fans continually ask her to put the latex suit back on. "So many people come up and they say, 'I don't care what anybody says, I loved 'Catwoman,'" Halle revealed. "I'm like, 'OK, well what did they say?' They said, 'It sucked, but it really didn't suck. It didn't. You were good, I mean the movie might have sucked, but you were good.' So we have a good dialogue about the movie and always laugh about it and then they say, 'Now do 'Catwoman 2,' and I say, 'No, probably not in this life. But you're sweet, thank you."'
Sarah Hyland's boyfriend Wells Adams on engagement buzz: 'Who knows what the future holds?'
Sarah Hyland's boyfriend Wells Adams recently said his parents and Sarah's parents won't meet until they're forced to "at the wedding." However, that doesn't mean the two are strictly on the road to getting engaged. "I think we're just saying it in passing," he told Us Weekly this month. "Right now, we're just having a really wonderful time living with each other and going down that path, which, living with someone is a new thing for both of us. So, who knows what the future holds with that, but we're very happy." The couple reportedly moved in together last August.
Lisa Vanderpump no longer speaks to 'RHOBH' castmates
Now that Lisa Vanderpump has confirmed she won't return for the next season of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," she's getting candid about her challenging relationship with her castmates. "I have a great relationship with [Bravo]; I just don't have a great relationship with the women," Lisa admitted to Us Weekly on Thursday, June 6. "After 17 episodes of them bashing me, I think I've had enough of all of them." Having completed nine difficult seasons on the show, Lisa added she thinks "everybody knew" she was coming to the end of her tenure there. "It's almost impossible for me to go back. How could I? It was too difficult." She also said she hasn't spoken to her former castmates. "I think I heard from Kyle once," Lisa said, "but for the most part, anybody that had reached out, it was for filming. It wasn't to talk to me privately."
Wendy Williams steps out wearing her engagement ring again
Just last week, Wendy Williams swapped her huge engagement ring from ex Kevin Hunter for another piece of jewelry. But the Daily Mail reports the ring from her marriage was back on the talk show host's left ring finger on Thursday, June 6, when she joined Debmar-Mercury exec Ira Bernstein at Craig's for dinner. If the outing was romantic — or the ring placement was meaningful — however, Wendy didn't offer any explanation. Asked by a photographer on her way out of the restaurant if she'd be interested in a date, The Blast reports Wendy replied, "I'm very busy. Get in line." Wendyn filed for divorce from her husband of more than two decades in April.
Zendaya poitely skirts date proposal during Q&A
The dangers of an audience Q&A … During a question and answer session with fans about the HBO show "Euphoria" in New York City this week, Zendaya was essentially asked out on an ice cream date, according to Page Six. The would-be suitor, who introduced himself as Mikal, reportedly broke the ice by asking if the 22-year-old actually smoked marijuana while shooting scenes in which she plays a drug addict. "No, I don't do any of that, so it was definitely a foreign thing for me," she responded. He followed that up with an offer to take her to the local ice cream spot, Amy's. "Yo, if I had time I would, because I love ice cream and I appreciate that," she said sweetly. Asked, "Is that a no or a maybe?" Zendaya laughed and said "we'll see," which inspired Mikal to suggest she bring a "plus one" since they don't know each other. Speaking to the audience, Zendaya replied, "We all going!"
Blac Chyna settles lawsuit with photo agency
A month ahead of their trial date, Blac Chyna and the Celebrity photography service Backgrid have settled their dispute. The Blast reports court documents reveal the scheduled July 9 court date is off the table now that "the parties have reached a settlement in principle that will resolve the matter completely." Backgrid sued Chyna for allegedly posting photos of herself shot by their photographers in 2017 without paying for them. The agency was looking for $150,000 "per infringement" of their rights to the pics. Chyna had claimed the pics fell under fair use terms. The terms of their settlement have not been disclosed.
