It was not a good week for several celebrities, whether they were dealing with health issues or police matters. Alanis Morissette fits in the latter category. On Feb. 14, 2017, it was reported that burglars had broken into her Los Angeles-area home while she was gone and made off with $2 million in jewelry. Alanis had been posting pictures of rings, bracelets and necklaces on social media and her blog in recent weeks. On the heels of this theft, as well as recent incidents involving Nicki Minaj and Kim Kardashian West, authorities are urging celebs to stop posting images of jewelry to social media.
Health issue
Bijou Phillips is in need of a kidney transplant. The actress was rushed to the hospital on Feb. 15, 2017, after a fever she'd been battling spiked. Her husband of more than five years, Danny Masterson, has been by her side at the hospital. On Feb. 16, he released a statement to "ET" revealing more details about the mother of one's secret health crisis: "Bijou was born with small kidneys and has been quietly dealing with kidney disease for the last five years, including being on the transplant list. In an effort to heal her body she has led a stress-free life with a vegan diet, which eventually wasn't enough, and she's been privately having dialysis," the statement read. "She recently found out one of her friends is a match and is optimistic that she will have a transplant soon."

Assault suspect
Justin Bieber is in trouble with the law — again. Twice this past week, the Biebs was named as a suspect in an assault case. The first incident occurred in June 2016 in Cleveland. A police report says the victim alleges that the pop star grabbed his sunglasses in a hotel in downtown Cleveland. The guy says he took a picture of Justin with the shades, which sent the singer into a rage. He says Justin's crew also got involved in the ruckus. The guy claims that he's been trying to settle with Justin since last June, but isn't getting anywhere with that, so he filed a police report. Then, on Feb. 16, 2017, it was reported that Justin is being investigated for an assault that occurred at a pre-Grammys party on Feb. 11 in which he allegedly head-butted a man for recording him in a Los Angeles restaurant.

Pregnant

Hannah actually found out that she was pregnant before her recent SI bikini shoot. She's due in May. "We want our kids' lives to be as 'normal' as possible. They're going to be born into such an extraordinary situation," she wrote in The Player's Tribune. "They're going to have to be some strong little people. We don't want them to be defined by their dad's name — for them, we want him to just be 'Dad.'"
Secretly married
"Shahs of Sunset" star Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi is a married woman. The reality TV star revealed on Instagram on Feb. 14, 2017, that she and her longtime boyfriend Shalom secretly got married on Jan. 25. But after detailing the news on social media, she inexplicably deleted the post. Before that, though, she wrote, "January 25, 2017 We walked into a courthouse just to see what type of paperwork is needed for getting married. They sarcastically told us there's a small chapel we could go to and do it right then. An hour later, we walked out of that chapel as husband & wife. We clearly weren't dressed for it and I couldn't stop laughing from shock…" On Feb. 15, GG reposted the video. "It's hard enough dealing with all of the mean things people say to me just from watching my show," she explained. "So I took the video down. But then I realized, that this moment right here, this moment is worth sharing with the world."
Police investigation
Mike Comrie, Hilary Duff's ex-husband, is being investigated for allegedly raping a woman at his Los Angeles home. The woman told police the former NHL star sexually assaulted her at his residence after they met up in a bar. According to TMZ, he's claimed the sex was consensual. Sources connected with the former athlete told TMZ that the encounter also involved a second woman who has not filed a complaint.
Splitsville again
Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian have reportedly split again. "Rob thinks it's the right decision," a source told Us Weekly. "Chyna has disappeared for days at a time without communicating or providing any updates. This won't end well." People magazine also reported on the split, with an insider telling the mag, "Chyna is super fed up with Rob and thinks he is way too emotional and depressed. She thinks he has terrible issues." The duo made headlines when they split just before Christmas 2016 but reconciled shortly after. As for the reason for this latest breakup, "[It's the same] with her yelling and screaming about how his family doesn't like or support her, and his insecurities," the source told Us. Chyna has been seen out with other men over the last several weeks.
Overnight visits
Good news for Brad Pitt! He's been having his children stay with him overnight without a monitor present, according to In Touch. "He's become a much more prominent figure in the kids' lives, and they seem to be doing a lot better now that things have calmed down," a source told the mag of the latest news related to the actor's contentious custody battle with ex Angelina Jolie. "He's recently had two different overnights with two kids without being monitored, and he's hoping to have them for at least a week at a time by the end of February or early March." As for sons Maddox and Pax, the insider says, "Those relationships are still very tenuous, and Brad really hasn't had a breakthrough with the boys yet."
Baby on the way
Talk about a bun in the oven. "Good Burger" star Kel Mitchell and wife Asia Lee are expecting a baby. The Nickelodeon star announced the pregnancy on Instagram in a "Good Burger"-themed photo on Feb. 14, 2017. "We have a bun in the oven! thank you @therealasialee for being the best Wife to me the best Friend to me and now the best Mom to our blessed baby!! I love you so much!" Kel captioned a pic in which he and his wife don "Good Burger" employee hats. With one hand, they both hold her belly. In Kel's other hand, he holds a cheeseburger while Asia holds a bottle of orange soda.
Ring return
Lady Gaga is about 6 carats lighter these days. According to In Touch, the singer no longer has the engagement ring that Taylor Kinney gave her when he proposed in February 2015. "She gave Taylor back her heart-shaped engagement ring shortly after the holidays," a source told the mag. "They had been spending time together late last year… Taylor just wouldn't commit to getting engaged again." After splitting in 2016, Gaga and Taylor spoke openly about a possible reconciliation, but it sure seems like the chances of that are now very slim. The source said, "She was incredibly sad to give the ring back, but it was the closure she needed." Gaga's since moved on with CAA talent agent Christian Carino.
