Believe it or not, it's been 15 years since the "Lizzie McGuire" finale aired on the Disney Channel (feel old yet?). In celebration of the big anniversary on Feb. 14, 2019, Wonderwall.com is looking back at "Lizzie McGuire" star Hilary Duff's life in pictures. Keep reading to take a trip down memory lane!

Hilary Duff moved from Texas to California when she was only 6 to pursue an entertainment career. After years of doing guest spots and commercials, Hilary landed her breakout role as the titular character on the Disney Channel's "Lizzie McGuire" TV show, which debuted in 2001 when she was just 13. It was an instant hit — an estimated 2.3 million viewers tuned in per episode — and Hilary quickly became a beloved tween idol. The show would spawn an entire "McGuire" franchise that included soundtracks, books, dolls, toys, video games and a film! "Lizzie McGuire" aired for three years before wrapping in 2004.
"Lizzie McGuire" made Hilary Duff a superstar — and it also introduced her to her first serious boyfriend. Hilary began dating pop singer Aaron Carter after he guest starred on her Disney Channel show in 2001. But the young couple soon found themselves in a love triangle after Aaron cheated on Hilary with fellow teen star Lindsay Lohan, which led to a years-long feud between the ladies. Aaron and Hilary continued dating on-and-off for another year before calling it quits in 2003.

After "Lizzie McGuire" wrapped, Hilary Duff (pictured here at the 2003 Teen Choice Awards) continued her reign as Hollywood's resident teen queen. She starred in several successful coming-of-age flicks during the early 2000s including "Agent Cody Banks" in 2003, "Cheaper by the Dozen" in 2003, "A Cinderella Story" in 2004 and "Cheaper by the Dozen 2" in 2005. Hilary's fandom continued to grow and the starlet decided to expand her resume into other avenues…
Hilary Duff launched her first fashion line, Stuff by Duff, in 2004 and promoted it all over the world (including in Sydney, seen here, the same year). The line eventually expanded to include furniture, fragrances, makeup and jewelry. The brand was a huge success for Hilary, netting $5 million in its first year. Her first fragrance, With Love…Hilary Duff, was launched under the same umbrella and became one of the three best selling fragrances at U.S. department stores in late 2006. Stuff by Duff was discontinued in 2008 once Hilary no longer had full control of the line.
In addition to her fashion line, Hilary Duff also launched a music career in the early 2000s. She released three studio albums during this time — "Metamorphosis" in 2003, "Hilary Duff" in 2004 and "Most Wanted" in 2005. "Hilary Duff" and "Most Wanted" were both certified platinum and featured hit singles such as "Fly" and "Wake Up." Hilary (seen here promoting her work on MTV's "TRL" in 2003) also embarked on a year-long world tour in 2005 that was a huge success, selling more than 80 percent of available seats. During this era, Hilary wanted fans to know that "Basically, I'm not Lizzie McGuire anymore" and that was made all the more clear with her newest relationship…
When Hilary Duff was 16, she began dating 25-year-old Joel Madden. The former Disney star and the Good Charlotte singer (who's now married to Nicole Richie) were rumored to be dating in July 2004 but their romance wasn't confirmed until a year later when Hilary's mom, Susan, revealed it to a magazine. Joel worked on Hilary's "Most Wanted" album and for a time the pair were inseparable. The relationship eventually ran its course, however, and they split in late 2006.

Hilary Duff and Haylie Duff aren't just siblings — they're best friends. And in 2006, they were also co-stars: They played sisters in the film "Material Girls." They're seen here celebrating with mom Susan Duff at the movie's New York City premiere afterparty on Aug. 24, 2006.
Fresh off her split from Joel Madden, Hilary Duff went straight into the studio and recorded her fourth album, "Dignity." The project was released in March 2007 — right after Hilary attended the 2007 Grammys, seen here — and featured her highest charting single in the United States, "With Love." The song peaked at No. 24, but the album was not as successful as her previous attempts. It was her most critically praised project, however, and reviewers enjoyed her lyrical content and new musical direction. She also memorably changed her look around the same time. "I was coming out with my new album, 'Dignity,' and I had a breakup, so I dyed my hair brown," the blonde told ELLE. "I did this weird movie with John Cusack in Bulgaria ['War, Inc.'] and I was supposed to have dark hair. I was just like, 'I'm just dying it, I'm just doing it!'"
Hilary Duff began dating NHL player Mike Comrie in July 2007. The hockey star surprised her with a brand-new Mercedes-Benz G-class SUV (retail price: more than $100,000) for her 20th birthday. He also received the thumbs-up from Hilary's older sister, Haylie Duff. "I think he's great and so special," Haylie told People magazine in December 2007. "I love him. He's a really great guy."
First comes love, then comes marriage! Mike Comrie proposed to Hilary Duff in February 2010 with a 14-carat princess-cut diamond engagement ring worth a reported $1 million. The couple married in an intimate evening ceremony (pictured) in Santa Barbara, California, on Aug. 14, 2010.
Hilary Duff decided to try her hand at writing and published her first novel, "Elixir," in October 2010. The young adult novel, co-written with author Elise Allen, became a New York Times bestseller. Hilary continued writing and released two more books, "Devoted" in 2011 and "True" in 2013, to complete the trilogy.
After a year of marriage, Hilary Duff and hubby Mike Comrie announced her pregnancy in August 2011. Hilary was 24 when she gave birth to son Luca Cruz Comrie on March 20, 2012. She announced Luca's birth on Twitter, writing, "Welcome to the World Luca Cruz Comrie! Tuesday evening, we became proud parents of a healthy 7 pound 6 ounce beautiful boy. We are overjoyed and feel like the luckiest parents in the world…. He is surrounded by so much love!! Mom and baby are both doing extremely well."
All good things must come to an end. Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie announced their amicable separation in January 2014. The former couple were soon spotted kissing and spending time together, leading to reconciliation rumors. But after months of speculation, Hilary filed for divorce in February 2015, citing irreconcilable differences and requesting primary physical and joint legal custody of their son, Luca. The divorce was finalized in February 2016, but the pair have managed to maintain a friendly and close relationship as they've co-parented Luca.
Hilary Duff announced her return to TV screens in 2014 when she signed on to co-star opposite Sutton Foster on the TV Land show "Younger." The star was cast as Kelsey Peters, an ambitious 20-something who persuades Sutton's character to work at a publishing firm. "Younger," which was Hilary's first starring role in a TV series since her "Lizzie McGuire" days, premiered in March 2015. Critics and fans loved the comedy-drama and it has been renewed for five seasons since its debut.
After eight years away from music, Hilary Duff released her fifth studio album, "Breathe In. Breathe Out," in June 2015. It debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200, becoming her fifth top five album. Her lead single, "Sparks," peaked at number 93 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became her fourth top 10 hit on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart. Impressive!
Pink hair don't care! After being blonde, brunette (and even blue), Hilary Duff decided to think pink and chop off all her hair in 2016 after completing the second season of "Younger." "Pink was my favorite, I think. We finished another season and I was like, 'I'm gonna do it! Why not?' I want to do it all when I'm in my 20s 'cause I don't think you can do it in your 30s," she told ELLE. "But then I think you can do it again in, like, your 60s. Hopefully I am still, like, slightly stylish then and I can rock it."
Hilary Duff went public with celebrity trainer Jason Walsh — who was also her personal trainer — in 2016. "We were seeing each other for a while," she admitted to Cosmopolitan in early 2017 after they split. "It was definitely my first more serious relationship since my ex-husband [Mike Comrie]."
Hilary Duff stepped out with her next boyfriend, songwriter-producer Matthew Koma, in January 2017 — and they made things red carpet official later that same month. The pair split in March 2017 reportedly due to their busy schedules, but they were back together by September. "It's going so great," Hilary revealed during an interview on "The Talk." "I mean, this is the third time that we've dated… Timing is such a big deal… third time's a charm!"
Even with all her career success, Hilary Duff — seen here in October 2017 with son Luca Comrie just a few days after her 30th birthday — enjoys her role as Mom the best. "Luca and I swim all the time and he is an avid scooter rider, so I got a scooter too, which is so embarrassing to be an adult on a scooter, but when I'm with him, it's so much fun," she told 102.7 KIIS-FM in April 2018. "Then we jump on the trampoline — we have a trampoline in the backyard. And his favorite game is tag right now, and he's so fast. His legs are so long, so I'm actually running as fast as I can, and I can still beat him, but it's a good workout."
Hilary Duff returned to her designing career for the first time in nine years in January 2018. She launched a collaborative eyewear line with GlassesUSA.com called The Muse x Hilary Duff Collection. "I designed the collection with every woman in mind," Hilary wrote on Instagram. "My vision was to create stylish glasses at affordable prices for all face shapes and skin tones, so there is something for everyone. I want to empower women to use glasses to express themselves, their uniqueness and to be proud of who they are."
Hilary Duff made a huge announcement in June 2018: The "Younger" actress revealed that she and boyfriend Matthew Koma were expecting their first child together, a little girl. "Guess what guys! @matthewkoma and I made a little princess of our own and we couldn't be more excited!!!!!!🤰🏼👶🏼🎀," Hilary captioned an Instagram photo of herself and the singer-songwriter-producer with her growing baby bump on display.
A pregnancy wasn't the only good thing that happened for Hilary Duff during the summer of 2018. The fifth season of her hit show "Younger" premiered that June and network execs announced the show's sixth-season renewal. Hilary is pictured here at the program's New York City premiere at Brooklyn's Cecconi Dumbo restaurant.
Hilary Duff welcomed her adorable daughter, Banks Violet Bair, on Oct. 25, 2018. The former Disney star announced the news on Instagram four days after Banks' arrival via home water birth. "Banks Violet Bair this little bit has fully stolen our hearts! She joined our world at home on Thursday afternoon and is absolute magic," Hilary wrote alongside a photo of herself and Matt cradling their sweet baby girl. Mama and baby are pictured here at a Los Angeles farmers market in January 2019.
