Married man?
Ed Sheeran secretly tied the knot with Cherry Seaborn around Christmastime in Britain, a Feb. 27 report from The Sun claimed. According to the British tabloid, 40 people were on hand to witness the nuptials at Ed's country estate in England's Suffolk county. "It was very quiet — just Ed's oldest school pals, limited family and the priest," a source said. "He wanted no fuss and he wanted it to be something entirely for them — just a tiny winter wedding. It's amazing that he's the biggest pop star in the world but he was just able to quietly slide off and wed." The couple is likely to have a larger reception in the summer. "Neither of them were that fussed about making a big deal about it," the source added. "Cherry just wanted to get it out of the way without any problems or intrusions."

Health crisis
"Beverly Hills, 90210" alum and current "Riverdale" star Luke Perry suffered a stroke at his home on Feb. 27 and was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital. Some reports claimed the actor was in a medically induced coma, while others said he was just sedated. A rep for the actor told People magazine, "Mr. Perry is currently under observation at the hospital." A dispatch call revealed the fire department responded to a stroke but offered little more information. The health crisis came the same day that FOX announced it will reboot the actor's old show as "90210," which will air as a limited summer series. Many of Luke's former co-stars have signed on to do the project, though he had not.

Cheating accusations
Kylie Jenner has accused Travis Scott, her boyfriend of nearly two years and the father of her daughter, Stormi, of cheating, TMZ reported on Feb. 28. According to TMZ, Travis flew from the East Coast, where he was on tour, to Los Angeles to surprise Kylie and Stormi in recent days but while there, she found "evidence" that he was unfaithful. Travis ended up canceling his "Astroworld" show in Buffalo on Feb. 28, claiming he was ill. However, there's suspicion that it's more tied to Kylie's accusation and the unfolding drama. Travis is "strongly denying" the claims, his rep told People magazine, insisting that he canceled because he's sick. Kylie, for what it's worth, went out on the town in L.A. without Travis a few hours after the story broke.
Big winners
The ladies won big at the Academy Awards on Feb. 24, as 15 women took home Oscars, which set a record. The Wrap reported that the previous best (12 wins for women) took place in 2007 and 2015. It was a big night for diversity too, as major awards went to Olivia Colman, Regina King, Rami Malek, Mahershala Ali and filmmaker Alfonso Cuaron. Spike Lee also won his first Oscar (for his "BlacKkKlansman" screenplay). Of course, the talk of the Oscars was — and continues to be — that steamy performance of "Shallow" from "A Star is Born" by Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga (who, incidentally, also won an Oscar for best original song).
New host
As expected, Jenna Bush Hager has been chosen to sit opposite Hoda Kotb during the fourth hour of "Today" when Kathie Lee Gifford retires. The announcement was made on Feb. 27. Kathie Lee's last day will be April 5. "Here at NBC and across the country, Jenna is beloved," Hoda said. Jenna said she's "humbled" and added that her father, former President George W. Bush, texted her that he was a "very proud dad." Jenna quipped, "What's there to be proud about? I'm just drinking wine in the morning."
Splitsville
Ryan Seacrest is single again. On Feb. 27, reports revealed that the "American Idol" host, 44, and food and wellness blogger Shayna Taylor, his 26-year-old girlfriend of three years, had broken up. "It was an amicable split and they're still really close," s source told People magazine. "They still love and care about each other." Shayna was just swooning about her man on Valentine's Day. "Happy Valentine's Day to my best friend I hope everyone's day is filled with love," she captioned a picture of herself and Ryan. "Whether it be from a friend, a family member, or loved one… We all deserve a little love today #spreadthelove #valentines."
The battle continues
On Feb. 26, Selma Blair opened up about her battle with multiple sclerosis, telling "Good Morning America" that she's "doing very well." Selma's chat came two days after she got emotional as she hit the red carpet at Vanity Fair's annual Oscar party — with a cane. "I am very happy to see you. Being able to just put out what being in the middle of an aggressive form of multiple sclerosis is like. So my speech, I have spasmodic dysphonia right now," she explained to Robin Roberts. "It is interesting to be here to say this is what my particular case looks like right now." She added that she'd been "self-medicating" before she got her diagnosis to try to maintain some semblance of normalcy — then "cried with relief" when she finally learned what was wrong with her. Still, "There were times when I couldn't take it and I was really struggling with how I'm going to get by in life," she added, revealing that her 7-year-old son, Arthur, knows about her struggles. "My son gets it and now I've learned to not feel really guilty" when she needs to take time out from parenting to rest.
Hey, Daddy!
Robin Thicke became a father of three on Feb. 26. The singer and his fiancée, April Love Geary, welcomed a baby girl in Los Angeles. "Lola Alain Thicke was born this morning 2/26/19 at 8:21 am," Robin captioned an Instagram snap of himself holding the newborn. "Thank you God and April Love for this blessing! #fatherofthree." The couple welcomed daughter Mia one year and four days earlier. After Lola's birth, April said on Instagram, "She's here! And she's so beautiful!" Robin also shares an 8-year-old son, Julian, with ex-wife Paula Patton.
Reunited
Is there a reconciliation in the works? On Feb. 27, Ariana Grande and ex-boyfriend Big Sean were spotted leaving a recording studio together. Sean apparently left just before Ariana but waited for her in the car. They then pulled away together. Ariana and Sean dated for the majority of 2015. In her hit "thank u, next," Ariana sang, "Thought I'd end up with Sean / but he wasn't a match." Maybe something's changed?
Cheating scandal
Jordyn Woods denied making out or getting a little too friendly with Tristan Thompson in her highly-anticipated chat with Jada Pinkett Smith, which aired on March 1. In recalling that evening, Kylie Jenner's former BFF said she sat down next to Tristan at a house party and draped her legs over him while sitting on a chair. She said there was "never anything intimate… It was an innocent time." Jordyn admitted that she shouldn't have been at the house party in the first place, being how close she was to Khloe Kardashian, who shares a daughter with Tristan. During the chat, she also said she and Tristan kissed on the lips, but did not make out and there was "no passion." She implied that Tristan initiated the kiss and wanted to make it clear that she's "no home wrecker." Interestingly, she said, "I know I'm not the reason Khloe and Tristan broke up." After the interview, Khloe sounded off. "Why are you lying @jordynwoods ??," Khloe tweeted. "If you're going to try and save yourself by going public, INSTEAD OF CALLING ME PRIVATELY TO APOLOGIZE FIRST, at least be HONEST about your story. BTW, You ARE the reason my family broke up!"
