If there's one thing celebrities are good for, it's scandal. Quite a few stars have been mired in controversy in 2018. Wonderwall.com is recapping the most controversial stories and the stars they involve, starting with Ryan Seacrest. The "Live! With Kelly and Ryan," "American Idol" and E! red carpet host was accused of sexual harassment by a former E! wardrobe stylist in November 2017, but the story didn't gain serious traction until the 2018 award season. The network completed an investigation into Ryan's alleged wrongdoing during the time he worked with the woman and found insufficient evidence to back up her allegations. Despite that and Ryan's repeated denials, critics called for his resignation. Ryan still hosted the major award show red carpet coverage for E! in 2018, though he faced a ton of backlash and some have since blamed the lingering scandal for low "American Idol" ratings. Then, on March 29, stylist Suzie Hardy penned a guest column for The Hollywood Reporter in which she revealed she'd filed a police report in hopes of triggering a criminal investigation. "We will continue to cooperate and we remain confident that Mr. Seacrest will once again be cleared of any wrongdoing," his attorney said the same day. Aubrey O'Day has been the subject of much chatter ever since details of her alleged affair with Donald Trump Jr. emerged in March 2018. According to multiple reports from outlets including Page Six, Us Weekly and Perez Hilton, the former Danity Kane singer and the president's son began a physical and emotional relationship while shooting Season 5 of "The Celebrity Apprentice" in late 2011. The clandestine romance reportedly continued until March 2012, when Donald's then-pregnant wife, Vanessa Trump, found texts exchanged between her husband and Aubrey, who later recorded two songs said to be about the end of her forbidden romance. The affair allegations were made public just days after Vanessa filed for divorce on March 15, 2018.

YouTube personality Logan Paul caused global controversy on Dec. 31, 2017, when he posted a highly insensitive video showing the corpse of a man who'd hung himself in Aokigahara, Japan, in an area known as the "suicide forest." Logan faced immediate backlash and was heavily criticized by activists, celebrities and politicians. He removed the video from his YouTube channel and released a written apology on Twitter in January 2018, but the damage was already done. YouTube announced it was removing Logan's channels from Google Preferred, the sequel to his YouTube film, "The Thinning," was placed on hold and "Logan Paul Vs." was halted. Logan was also cut from Season 4 of the YouTube Red series "Foursome." Finally, on Feb. 9, 2018, YouTube suspended all advertising on Logan's channels due to his "pattern of behavior."

Quincy Jones had everyone talking when he revealed insider stories about some of the most elite superstars in Hollywood history including Michael Jackson, Marlon Brando, Richard Pryor and the Beatles. The legendary music producer said in a February 2018 GQ interview that the Beatles were terrible musicians, claimed he dated Ivanka Trump when he was 72 and she was 24, said that Marlon Brando had sex with James Baldwin, Richard Pryor and Marvin Gaye, and accused Michael Jackson of stealing most of his songs. Many family members and friends of these iconic celebs were upset, to say the least, and Quincy issued an apology on Twitter just a few weeks later.

Arie Luyendyk Jr. became America's most hated man in early 2018 when he dumped the winner of "The Bachelor" on national television to pursue the runner-up. The race car driver-turned-realtor had asked Becca Kufrin to marry him during the season finale taping in Peru, but later regretted rejecting Lauren Burnham, the runner-up. Arie proceeded to break up with Becca with cameras rolling then rekindled things with Lauren, who welcomed him back with open arms and even accepted his marriage proposal during the show's "After the Final Rose" special. The couple hopes to wed as soon as this summer.

Russell Simmons had a reputation as a kind hip-hop mogul who enjoyed yoga and meditation before he was hit with sexual assault allegations in late 2017. In the months since, more than 15 women have accused the Def Jam founder of sexual harassment, assault or rape. Russell denied the allegations in February 2018, telling Rolling Stone magazine that he denies any wrongdoing. "I vehemently deny all the allegations made against me. They have shocked me to my core as I have never been abusive or violent in any way in my relations with women," he said. Russell has since stepped down from all his business endeavors and is currently facing several lawsuits.

Ewan McGregor has lived most of his life in the spotlight scandal-free, but that all changed when the "Fargo" star was accused of leaving his wife, Eve Mavrakis, for his co-star. The Scottish actor filed to divorce his wife of 22 years, with whom he has four daughters, in January 2018 a few months after it was revealed that he was dating Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who played his girlfriend on "Fargo." Though it came to light that Ewan and Eve had separated in May 2017 around the time Mary announced she'd split from her husband, many fans were disappointed after it was reported that Eve did not initiate the breakup and didn't want her marriage to end. More negative headlines came when Ewan decided to awkwardly thank both his estranged wife and his girlfriend during his Golden Globes acceptance speech in January.

Blac Chyna is well-known for her controversial antics and so far this year, the former reality TV star and onetime fiancée of Rob Kardashian has kept it up. Chyna, who turned 30 in May, raised eyebrows when she confirmed in February that she was dating 18-year-old rapper YBN Almighty Jay. The mother of two also had people talking when she reportedly called Kim Kardashian West — the aunt of her daughter, Dream — a "very cruel, huge bully" after the "Keeping Up the Kardashians" star sent her a "haters" Valentine's Day gift of a new KKW Beauty perfume.

Bryan Singer has long been accused of sexual harassment and assault, which he's denied, but it was allegations in late December 2017 that truly affected his career. The "X-Men" director — who was first publicly accused of harassment in 1997 — was hit with a lawsuit alleging that he raped accuser Cesar Sanchez-Guzman in 2003 when Cesar was only 17 years old. Following these allegations, along with reports of unprofessionalism and erratic behavior, Bryan was fired as the director of the Queen biopic "Bohemian Rhapsody." The USC School of Cinematic Arts also announced in January 2018 that it will remove Bryan's name from the Division of Cinema & Media Studies program.

Tommy Lee caused a storm of controversy after he got into a physical altercation with his son, Brandon Lee, in March 2018. Brandon allegedly punched Tommy in the face following a war of words between them, according to a since-deleted Instagram post from Tommy. The Mötley Crüe drummer filed a battery complaint against his 21-year-old son and initially wanted him prosecuted. Pamela Anderson, Tommy's ex-wife and Brandon's mother, told TMZ that "[Brandon] punched [Tommy] in the nose for all of us who he has hurt" and said her son was acting in self-defense. She also accused her ex of being an alcoholic, which Tommy has denied.

Heather Locklear raised eyebrows when she was arrested in February 2018 on suspicion of domestic violence after a drunken fight with her boyfriend. The "Melrose Place" actress also allegedly attacked arresting officers, screaming, "if you ever come back to my house, I will shoot you." The domestic violence charges were dropped in March 2018 but Heather, who reportedly headed to rehab, was still charged with four counts of misdemeanor battery on an officer along with one count of resisting/obstructing an officer. The troubled TV star was in trouble again in June when she was taken to a hospital for psychiatric evaluation after allegedly threatening to shoot herself. Days later, she allegedly attacked a cop and an EMT, who's now suing her, when they were called to her home during another incident. In August, new charges were added. Heather entered a long-term rehab facility in hopes of treating her problems, but then was placed on another psychiatric hold, which was extended, in November 2018.

Stacey Dash has become known in recent years for her strong political opinions and conservative statements. The "Clueless" star, who's faced backlash in the past for comments about former President Barack Obama and Black History Month, made headlines again when she announced that she was running for Congress. Stacey filed documents to run in California's 44th congressional district and launched the "Dash to DC" campaign in February 2018. Critics called the former FOX News commentator's campaign nothing but a publicity stunt. On March 30, she withdrew her candidacy, explaining on Twitter that it was "a difficult choice, but I have to go where God is leading me."

Andy Dick had people shaking their heads in disapproval once again when ex-partner Lena Sved accused him of abuse in early 2018. Lena, who shares two children with the comedian, filed for a restraining order against Andy in February 2018. Reports reveal she claimed that drunken arguments with their son led her to take action. The Blast reported on March 19 that a judge then barred the controversial comedian from being within 100 yards of his family. The order will remain in effect for five years.

Luann de Lesseps was on her worst behavior when she was arrested on Christmas Eve 2017 after allegedly attacking a Florida police officer while drunk. The "The Real Housewives of New York City" star was charged with a felony count of resisting an officer with violence in January 2018. Luann was also charged with trespassing and disorderly intoxication, both of which are misdemeanors. She was offered a plea deal in February 2018 but reportedly turned it down, only to accept a deal in July after pleading guilty to three of the charges against her and agreeing to attend AA meetings and abstain from drugs and alcohol. Around the same time, her ex-husband, Alexandre de Lesseps, and their two adult children sued her claiming Luann didn't uphold her part of their divorce deal when she failed to put a portion of her home into a trust for their kids. Days later, she returned to rehab.

Nelly is still fighting rape allegations in 2018. The St. Louis rapper was accused of forcing a woman to have sex with him in Washington in late 2017. The criminal case was dropped due to his accuser's refusal to cooperate with cops, but in February 2018, another women, this time in England, accused Nelly of attempting to sexually assault her last December after a concert. She has filed a civil lawsuit against the rapper under the alias Jane Doe. Nelly has denied any wrongdoing and his lawyer has claimed women are trying to shake him down, but the rapper is now facing civil lawsuits and a fresh criminal investigation.

2018 was not good to the former "Roseanne" star. On May 28, Roseanne Barr decided to send out a tweet about former Obama presidential adviser Valerie Jarrett that read: "muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj." She eventually deleted the tweet, but it led to the cancellation of her "Roseanne" sitcom reboot, which had only recently returned to huge ratings. After the show got axed by ABC execs, Roseanne apologized then said she was tweeting while on the sleep aid Ambien. Not long after she blamed Ambien for her comments, the maker of the drug, Sanofi, got involved. "While all pharmaceutical treatments have side effects," the company tweeted, "racism is not a known side effect of any Sanofi medication." The actress has remained largely out of the spotlight since her fall from grace, but did confirm that she was the victim of fake news over Thanksgiving when reports claimed she had suffered a heart attack (she tweeted that she was just fine).

Tristan Thompson had a rough 2018, despite having some career highs and welcoming a daughter with Khloe Kardashian in April. Mere days before Khloe gave birth to their daughter, True, videos surfaced showing Tristan cheating on her with several women. The first video published by the Daily Mail on April 10 showed the athlete kissing a woman at PH-D Lounge in New York City on April 7. Then TMZ posted another video of Tristan in what appeared to be the same outfit arriving at his hotel in the early morning hours of April 8 — with the same woman behind him in the video footage — plus more footage of the woman later leaving with an overnight bag. But that wasn't all. TMZ also published another video of Tristan from Oct. 7, 2017, that showed him making out with one woman while another suggestively touched him at a Washington, D.C., lounge. Initial reports claimed Tristan and Khloe's relationship was "hanging by a thread," but Khloe quickly forgave the NBA star and made it clear that she was going to stand by her man despite her family's disapproval. The two have been back and forth but put up a united front when they spent time together over Thanksgiving.

A lot of Americans hadn't paid much attention to Pete Davidson up until this summer when he got engaged to Ariana Grande. But then the fall hit and things went bad — quickly. It started when Ariana broke up with the "Saturday Night Live" comedian and called off their engagement. Pete joked about their relationship in a promo for his show, which irked the pop star enough for her to comment about it on social media, though the former couple soon came to a truce and Pete stopped talking about their romance. Ariana got the last word, though, when she released her chart-topping hit about her former loves, "Thank U, Next." Then came Pete's botched attempt to make light of the midterm elections during a "Weekend Update" segment of "SNL." He came under fire after he joked that candidate Dan Crenshaw — a war veteran who'd lost an eye in combat and now wears a patch — looked more "like a hit man in a porno" than someone running for office. While many were upset by Pete's tactlessness, the congressman-elect (he won!) said Pete didn't need to apologize while also noted that the joke wasn't even funny (burn!). The show brought Dan back again the following week, Pete apologized, and all was well again.

File this under people you probably didn't know a year ago who now can't stop making the wrong kind of headlines. Rapper Tekashi69 aka 6ix9ine dogged a bullet earlier this year when he was sentenced to four years probation after pleading guilty to one count of use of a child in a performance in 2015 (which, it should be noted, was years before he became famous) for making sexual motions behind a child who was 13 at the time. Sentencing was delayed until 2018, but that wasn't the end of his legal troubles. In November, the musician was arrested — along with his recently fired manager and two former associates — on racketeering charges stemming from issues with rival gangs and a robbery against a rival of the rapper's. Tekashi was denied bail and is looking at serving hard prison time. Shortly before his most recent arrest, the rapper cleaned house, firing his entire management team, and canceled his tour a week before his new album was scheduled to drop.

Asia Argento was not a household name in early 2018, but that all changed shortly after her beau, chef and "Parts Unknown" host Anthony Bourdain, killed himself in June 2018. In August, it was reported in The New York Times that Asia had been accused of sexually assaulting actor Jimmy Bennett — who was 17 to her 37 at the time — years earlier when they were intimate at a Los Angeles-area hotel. The two met while working on "The Heart is Deceitful Above All Things" when Jimmy was 7. Asia went on to deny the claims and explained that Jimmy was trying to extort her to the point that boyfriend Anthony paid the young actor over $300,000 to end the drama. Rain Dove — the partner of Asia's pal Rose McGowan — later released text messages in which Asia confirmed that she slept with Jimmy, though she claimed he was the one who'd assaulted her.
