Princess Charlotte to start nursery school in January
Princess Charlotte is almost ready to make her preschool debut. Next month, the soon-to-be 3-year-old will enroll at London's Willcocks Nursery School, according to a statement from Kensington Palace. Officials at the school told press they were "delighted" Prince William and Duchess Kate chose to send their daughter to the school, which parents described as "kind and gentle" in recent interviews with the Telegraph. Willcocks boasts an exclusively female staff and is committed "high standards" and instilling students with "good manners," according to the British paper. When he was his sister's age, Prince George attended Westacre Montessori School near his parents' then-residence at Anmer Hall. The Telegraph reports Charlotte is expected to initially attend Willcocks for a "stay and play session" with her parents before teachers watch to see if she's comfortable sticking around after her mom and dad leave.

Sir Carter has 'a mean mug' like JAY-Z, says Tina Knowles
Beyonce and JAY-Z have been predictably mum on details about their twins, Rumi and Sir, since the babies arrived in June. Grandparents, however, will be grandparents — a truth Tina Knowles-Lawson proved at UCLA's Ladylike Day on Saturday, Dec. 16. "This is my first experience around twins, and they're so different, and their personalities, and they are wonderful," Tina told Us Weekly. Not surprisingly, it seems Sir takes after his dad. "Other than the boy has a stare, like a mean mug, like Jay sometimes, which is so cute …," Tina said, adding that Rumi is "just so happy all the time and so sweet." Asked how the family planned to celebrate the holidays this year, the Los Angeles-based designer said she was excited that everyone's schedules lined up. "I'm going to cook the biggest meal with everything I know how to cook. We're all going to be together and I cannot wait," she enthused. While Bey and Jay recently bought a home in Los Angeles, where Tina now lives, Bey's sister Solange, along with Solange's husband and son, spend most of their time in their adopted home of New Orleans. "It's really hard to get everyone together these days. It's becoming harder and harder!"

Mariah Carey wishes her lambs a 'happy holidays' from Vegas in plunging red Christmas show costume
Who needs an advent calendar when the world has Mariah Carey? One surefire sign we're getting closer to the holidays is the explosion of Christmas-y kitsch, glitz and glam that have long defined Mimi's Christmas concerts in New York City. This year, she took her annual show on the road, bringing Mariah-esque holiday cheer to her lambs in Paris, London and, beginning late last week, Las Vegas, where she — along with her boyfriend Bryan Tanaka — had nearly a week's worth of shows booked at the Colosseum. After her performance on Sunday, Dec. 17, Mimi posed before a large, lit-up tree in the drummer boy-meets Rockettes look she wears during the show. "Happy Holidays #lambily.. thank you for coming out and making it so festive! 💖💖 ," she captioned the Insta-shot, adding that it had been taken backstage. Mariah wraps up her tour on Friday, Dec. 22, when she'll likely head to her go-to holiday getaway in Aspen, Colorado.
Anna Kendrick: Execs wanted 'sexier,' 'tighter' 'Pitch Perfect 3' costumes
Critics have praised the "Pitch Perfect 3" franchise for its box office appeal to assets like its funny cast, smart writing, great music and quirky characters. Still, execs seem hell-bent on playing up the physical hotness of the movie's stars. At least, that's been Anna Kendrick's takeaway. "It's funny — whenever we do the wardrobe fittings I feel like we get notes from the top saying they should be tighter and sexier and show more skin. And I'm like, that's not why people are coming to see the movie. They definitely aren't showing up because of our sex appeal," Anna recently told Harper's Bazaar. "It's nice that audiences are interested in seeing a movie of misfits and girls of different shapes and sizes." The actress, who has spoken out about the wave of changes in personnel happening in Hollywood since allegations of sexual misconduct began taking the industry by storm, also noted she hopes the change "continues to happen in industries that are less visible" than Hollywood in politics. She also hopes "that when women report it in any industry, they are believed," she said. "Pitch Perfect 3" hits theaters Dec. 22.
JAY-Z's Trayvon Martin documentary rekindles Snoop Dogg, George Zimmerman feud
"If one hair on Jays hair is touched that's when the revolution will b televised." That's how Snoop Dogg responded to recent threats against Jay made in an interview with The Blast by Trayvon Martin assailant George Zimmerman. The feud was sparked over Jay's documentary, "Rest In Power: The Trayvon Martin Story," which details the 2012 shooting of an unarmed African-American teenager and the subsequent acquittal of the neighborhood watch volunteer who claimed he shot the victim in self-defense. Speaking to The Blast, the former watch volunteer claimed a producer on the doc "harassed" his parents. In retaliation, he said anyone who "f—- with my parents will be fed to an alligator," among other things. Bella Hadid and Hailey Baldwin share late-night pizza with Bleecker Street Pizza customers
The Big Apple is full of temptations but few are as hard to deny as the pizza craving induced by a late-night stroll through the West Village. That's probably why Bella Hadid and her pal Hailey Baldwin attempted to grab a slice around 2 a.m. one night-slash-morning last week. Alas, the models were out of luck — almost. "They'd already sold their last pie," an onlooker at Bleeker Street Pizza told the New York Post. "They were closed, but the last customers of the night ended up sharing some of their pie and chatting with [Bella and Hailey]. They talked about how delicious late-night junk food tastes and how cheap pizza is New Yorkers' most beloved guilty pleasure," said the snitch. "It was late-night small talk."
Diddy wants to buy the Carolina Panthers
Back in October, Sean "Diddy" Combs announced he wants to own his own football league amid controversy over NFL protests for racial justice in America. In what he dubbed a "new dream alert," the music exec imagined, "A league where you can be yourself. … Have a retirement plan. … Have freedom to be a great human and protest for your people without being demonized for your beliefs as a KING!!" On Sunday, Dec. 17, Carolina Panthers owner Jerry Richardson, who's been accused of multiple instances of sexual misconduct and faces one allegation of using a racial slur in the workplace, announced he was selling the team, according to Vulture. Almost immediately after the announcement was made, Diddy was back on Twitter getting a jump on his aforementioned ownership goal. "I would like to buy the @Panthers. Spread the word. Retweet!," Diddy posted. He went on to promise he'd be "the best NFL owner that you can imagine" and said he'd offer Colin Kaepernick the starting quarterback role, and not just because of the out-of-work NFL star's role in "taking a knee" demonstrations. "It's just competition, baby," he wrote.
