Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest may already be having trouble on 'Live!'
With ABC helping both "Live!" and the rebooted "American Idol," Kelly Ripa is reportedly nervous she may end up with another co-host bailing. At least that's what some insiders are telling the New York Post. "She doesn't want a repeat of the Michael Strahan situation. It's like ABC is once again diluting the attention on 'Live.' She wants to make sure her show is Ryan's first priority, not 'Idol,'" said a source. Although Ryan has said nothing about accepting a job on '"Idol" and his rep tells the Post there is no deal in place with the talent competition show, multiple sources say trouble could loom for "Live!" "This isn't some spur-of-the-moment deal. It's a part of his move to ABC," said a source. "It's a no-brainer. He took the job for 'Idol' and to host 'Live.' It's the only way ABC could pay him enough money to come over. They'll have to announce it before upfronts." Still other insiders told the tab Kelly remains happy with the plan to have Ryan join her on the air: "Kelly is in the loop. She had approval over the co-host, so Ryan was her first choice. It was a very calculated decision by the network and by her. Everyone is thrilled. They've known each other 15 years . . . They really are friends." A rep for the network, meanwhile, denied rumors of discord, saying, "Everything is categorically not true."

Fans think Harry Styles wrote a song about Taylor Swift
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Harry Styles said, "I write from my experiences; everyone does that. I'm lucky if everything [we went through together] helped create those songs. That's what hits your heart." That quote, along with a preview clip on Apple's Behind the Album documentary, have fans convinced Harry's new song "Two Ghosts" is about his ex, Taylor Swift. The Daily Mail reports fans have been tweeting non-stop since the preview trailer aired, trying to make sense of the lyrics used in the it. "Same lips red, same eyes blue/ Same white shirt, couple more tattoos/But it's not you, and it's not me/Tastes so sweet, looks so real," the song begins. "Sounds like something that I used to feel/But I can't touch what I see/We're not who we used to be/We're not who we used to be/We're just two ghosts standing in." Tweeted on Harry fan: "If 'red lips' and 'blue eyes' are actually lyrics, Two Ghosts is about Taylor. I resent her and haylor but it's obviously about her." Another chimed in "I knew two ghosts would be about haylor I'm shooken." The song has not yet been released.

John Legend launches job training program for former inmates
While he was being honored as one of the world's top philanthropists at a Town + Country gala this week, John Legend revealed he's working on a campaign called "Unlocked Futures" that will offer grants and job training to people who have been imprisoned. "Sometimes it is hard to get hired so you have to hire yourself," he explained at the event, according to the New York Post. "I have [teamed] with New Profit and Bank of America to reinvest in formerly incarcerated entrepreneurs," he added. The singer recently traveled to Louisiana to encourage lawmakers to embark on a major overhaul of their criminal justice system.
Paris Hilton says she invented the selfie
"If a beeper had a camera, I would have taken a selfie with it." So says Paris Hilton of her early fame years in the new issue of W (via the New York Post). Now 36, Paris goes on to say she was actually the first person to take a selfie. "I think I have a selfie from when I was a little kid, like on a disposable camera," she noted. "We started a whole new genre of celebrity that no one had seen before." Unlike when she first started out in the celeb game, Paris says "anybody with a phone" can become famous in 2017. Looking ahead, though, celebrity isn't enough for her. She remains focused on DJing and, according to the Post, "growing her empire": "I want to have something substantial and something that lasts."
Nikki Reed, Ian Somerhalder 'really wanted' to start a family
Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder are gearing up to be first-time parents — a move that apparently fits right in with Nikki's life plan. "Nikki said she always knew she wanted to have kids before she turned 30," a source close to the actress tells Us Weekly of the 28-year-old star, adding that they both "really wanted a baby. "They are incredibly happy together," the source adds. "Ian worships Nikki. He's so sweet to her and treats her like a queen!" The couple, who announced their stork news in March, celebrated their first wedding anniversary on April 26.
50 Cent's alleged burglar had a printed out plan of attack
The man who allegedly tried to break into 50 Cent's mansion did plenty of advance planning — but it didn't pan out. TMZ reports Edwin Joyce had enough information about the pad to go in through the generator room. Unfortunately for him, that choice set off an alarm and the property manager saw him sneaking around, according to the police report. When police arrived, they reportedly discovered the would-be burglar had printed out directions to the rapper's house. Edwin is currently being held on bail for $125,000.
Scott Disick may need rehab
Scott Disick is back to his old partying aways, according to TMZ. The website reports that while he's been dating Ella Ross, news that his ex, Kourtney Kardashian, is seeing Younes Bendjima has pushed him over the edge into a booze and club-filled binge. He had stopped drinking per Kourtney's request in the hopes she'd take him back. But when he learned about Younes, sources say he lost it to the point friends think he needs more rehab.
Kevin Bacon still struggles with money
Long before Bernie Madoff made, well, off with Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick's money, Kevin struggled with his fianances. He opened up about his history with financial planning to Wealthsimple (via the New York Post). "My parents weren't wealthy, and they didn't really teach us much about money," he says on a the company's website. Detailing gigs in restaurants and warehouses, the actor explains in the clip that he was penniless when he got to New York. "It took me a long time to come around to the idea that you have to have a kind of responsibility with money, to keep an eye on it. To a certain extent, I still kind of struggle with it," he said.
Steve Harvey defends rules list
Steve Harvey wants to explain why he made an iron-clad list of rules his staff had to abide by in order to keep their jobs. Speaking to ET this week, he said he felt he had no alternative. "I could not find a way to walk from the stage to my dressing room, to sit in my makeup chair, to walk from my dressing room to the stage or to just sit and have lunch without somebody just walking in,. I've always had a policy where, you know, you can come and talk to me — so many people are great around here, but some of them just started taking advantage of it," he said, explaining the leaked email that detailed his rules. "Look man, I'm in my makeup chair, they walk in the room. I'm having lunch, they walk in, they don't knock. I'm in the hallway, I'm getting ambushed by people with friends that come to the show and having me sign this and do this," he continued. "I just said, 'Wait a minute.' And in hindsight, I probably should've handled it a little bit differently."
