When Ashton & Demi's online status updates were picked up by the tabloids, mainstream America was introduced to its newest social network, Twitter. Here's a list of all the other stars you can currently stalk – er, follow – there.
John Mayer – John gives random life updates and also likes to play mind games with prying tabloid reporters, such as when he joked that he was in the market for engagement rings.
Britney Spears – Sometimes it's Britney, sometimes it's one of her "people", but it's always amusing to know what the most famous woman in the world has been doing lately (mostly just resting, relaxing and being Britney).
Tina Fey – Tina's Twitter is pretty much what you'd expect from the current Queen of Comedy. Funny, self-deprecating observations that always leave you wanting more.
Demi Moore – As we mentioned before, the Kutchers sure are chatty on Twitter. Demi goes on about everything from American Idol to how much she loves her hubby to whether or not she has any immediate plans to adopt. Who needs a publicist?
Ashton Kutcher – Ashton is also pretty liberal with the oversharing. In less than a week we learned that he hates his neighbor, goes to spiritual focus time to get rid of his ego, and likes to read about poverty. It's what the Internet was made for.
Rainn Wilson – The Office's own Dwight Schrute is as oddly hilarious on Twitter as he is on TV.
Snoop Dogg – Everyone's favorite canine rapper shares links to lots or random stuff, along with his trademark brand of self-promotion.
Stephen Colbert – Pretty much all the hilarious self-worship you'd expect from Colbert's blowhard pundit persona.
Lance Armstrong – It's all positive vibes and random status updates from the cycling champ. Tweetstrong.
Jimmy Fallon – The former SNL funnyman and future Late Night host interacts with fans a lot, and even takes questions and suggestions for his new show.
Pete Wentz – Pete, who's married to Ashlee Simpson, Twittered about empathizing with Ryan Gosling's character in the movie "Lars and the Real Girl", who is in love with an inanimate sex doll. Draw your own conclusions.
Russell Brand – The British comedian and self-described sex addict updates infrequently, and often incoherently. His last bit of Tweeting had something to do with being milked by his cats.
Shaquille O'Neal – Shaq's Twitter feed has become something of Internet legend. His Zen-like Shaq-isms are somehow both poetic and funny.
Perez Hilton – The celebrity gossip blogger turned celebrity mostly uses this newfound extension of his online persona to tell us what he's doing and taunt celebs in another medium.
Mischa Barton – Dropping in every few days to give updates on her jet-setting adventures, Mischa has also been using Twitter and her blog as do-it-yourself PR to clear up various rumors about her.
Vanessa Hudgens – Cut out the gossip magazine middle men and head to Twitter for the real time deets on the relationship status of High School Musical lovebirds Zac & Vanessa.
Rachel Bilson – So far from Rachel's three updates, we've gleaned that she shops, reads Teen Vogue, and feels bad for not updating more.
Al Gore – The former Vice President seems too busy to Twitter much, usually just dropping in now and then to say hello and remind us that the environment is on the brink of destruction.
MC Hammer – The seminal 90s rapper provides constant updates on what he's doing (such as his recent Cash4Gold Super Bowl ad) and regularly interacts with fans. Go ahead, ask him how many pairs of hammer-pants he still has!
Diablo Cody – The Oscar-winning screenwriter was one of Twitter's earliest celebrity adopters. For those of you who just can't get enough Juno-speak, this is your place.
Luke Wilson – The soft-spoken comedy star doesn't Tweet much, but when he does, it's usually kind of charming.
Dave Matthews – The mellowed out jam man keeps his Twitter feed real laid back and mellow, just like his music. He replies to fans a lot, often with only a word (or less).
Christian Siriano – The budding fashion designer and Project Runway winner's amazing brand of fierceness can hardly be contained in 140 characters or less.
Michael Phelps – The Olympic golden boy posts a lot of random song lyrics, smiley-faces and random hello's, but there's not a lot of rhyme or reason. We wonder why…
Eli Manning – The NY Giants star quarterback seems to have a Twitter feed mainly to keep us constantly updated on how excited he is about football.
