For the last time in 2016, we're taking a look at some of the stories that prove the stars are nothing like us! From throwing extravagant holiday parties for their employees to naming their kids things only a rock star could get away with, Wonderwall.com has rounded up some of this month's more glaring examples that show how us normal folk and celebs live very different lives. First up is a very lucrative business deal: While more of us can only dream of making $10 million over the entire span of our lives, Selena Gomez made that by signing on one dotted line. The superstar inked a deal with Coach in December 2016 that will net her $10 million for both designing a line with the company and becoming the new face of the brand. Keep reading for more ways the stars are nothing like us!

When you're a star, a simple tweet can become major news. That happened to John Mayer when he tweeted, "Tuesday, December 13 may be the lamest day of the year, conceptually." Though it sounded innocent enough, fans assumed it had something to do with his ex Taylor Swift, who happened to be born on Dec. 13. John eventually deleted the tweet, but not before trying to explain himself, writing, "NOPE. No. Nuh-uh. People I am 39. I am deleting those tweets. Come right at me for doing so. Absolutely no shade." Sure, John.

Oh, to be Kylie Jenner! The mogul's lip kits have been selling out all year, and her latest venture into merch — T-shirts, baseball hats, panties, pins and calendars — was no different. The star launched her Official Kylie Jenner Shop on Dec. 10, 2016, and most items sold out that same day. "We are sold out of almost everything on @thekylieshop online !!! Wow! Thank you guys for making this launch so special. Check out KylieJennerShop.com to see what's left. Xoxo," Kylie wrote on Instagram that day. Among the few items that remained? The calendars.

The couple that records an album together, stays together?! Only in Hollywood! Ashlee Simpson recently announced that she's working on a new album with hubby Evan Ross. "It's been really fun to work together," she told Us Weekly. "This way we can tour together! I'm definitely excited. I love working with my husband."
Celebrities are nothing like us… especially when it comes to naming their children. Mick Jagger proved that with the mouthful of a moniker he and ballerina girlfriend Melanie Hamrick gave his eighth child: Deveraux Octavian Basil Jagger. Aside from being born with an odd name, there's also a major age gap with his eldest sibling — the Rolling Stone frontman's daughter Marsha Hunt is 46 years old.
It's good to be employed by George Clooney's tequila company, Casamigos! The movie star was responsible for one of the most glamorous holiday parties of all time as he and fellow owners Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman sent their staff to Mexico on a four-day trip in December 2016. Among the events? A source told the New York Post the festivities included, "day parties, tequila lunches, a few daytime meetings, jet-skiing, beach dodgeball, volleyball, beautiful dinners, night parties, glow-in-the-dark golf and fireworks."
When most people get engaged, they immediately call all of their family members to tell them the big news. But when celebrities get engaged, there are some famous faces on the list who need notifying. A prime example? Emmy Rossum, who recently revealed that her second phone call after getting engaged to writer-director Sam Esmail was to none other than Carolina Herrera. Emmy tapped the legendary designer to craft her wedding dress. Must be nice!
In our wildest dreams, John Legend serenades us with a love song written by our significant other. Well, that dream actually became a reality for Teresa Giudice! John stopped by "Watch What Happens Live" in December and was coerced by Andy Cohen into doing just that. The crooner (unwillingly) sang lyrics written by Joe Giudice for his wife Teresa on the show. A sample of the tune? "Cause I'll love you forever / I'll never lie, no never / Cause you are my baby, my empress, my lady. Teresa / you are my-y-y heaven."
Stars are nothing like us, because they can become 20-year-old clothing designers. Bella Hadid found fame as a model, and now she'll be shifting gears to design with the label Chrome Hearts. She made the announcement on Instagram on Dec. 14, 2016, writing, "So damn excited ! You have no idea what's coming! My new collection with @chromeheartsofficial designed by me, shot by my angel mother @laurielynnstark ❤️ I CANT wait for you all to see what we've made! Follow @chromeheartsxbella for more 😻🏁❤️ #chromeheartsxbella coming soon soon soon…"
Celebs often take home major paydays, but sometimes their losses are more than we can hope to earn in a lifetime. Take Leonardo DiCaprio for instance. This month the movie star sold one of his properties in New York City and ended up marking a — wait for it — $2 million loss. Now that's gotta hurt.
Khloe Kardashian took home a huge paycheck for her latest venture! The reality star's Good American jeans line netted her $1 million on its very first day, which set records. A statement about the brand explained that the line is a phenomenon, reading, "After just over one month in the market, [Khloe and business partner Emma Grede] have proven Good American is the biggest denim launch in apparel history."
