Taylor Swift's new Netflix documentary hit the Interwebs on Friday, Jan. 31, and it featured one unspoken potential bombshell. During a scene in "Miss Americana" where the singer discusses her decision to speak out about politics, she says, "I want to be on the right side of history." Then, according to Cosmopolitan, her left hand gets lifted into the screen. On the ring finger is a huge diamond sparkler. That's it, though. At Sundance, InStyle asked the doc's director Lana Wilson about the ring and she acted surprised. "Whoa," she said. "I'm going to have to revisit that scene." Taylor and Joe were first linked in 2017, at which point they'd reportedly been dating for months, They've kept as much as possible about their romance on the down-low since then, although he does appear in the doc. Taylor even "mouths 'I love you'" to him at one point, according to Cosmo.

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan may spend the summer in L.A.: report

When Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan stepped down from their positions as senior members of the royal family, they announced plans to split time between North America and the U.K. They've been living in Canada this month with their son, Archie, but a new report indicates they may have plans to migrate south this summer — to Los Angeles. "They have started to look at homes online and are in the process of interviewing security teams," a source tells E! News. "They are getting their ducks in a row and seeing if it's logistically possible. They've reached out to people in L.A. and would like to assemble a team of locals." As Cosmo points out, the insider also discussed Meghan's apparent desire to "do meetings in the house," which suggests she could go back to working as an actress in addition to her ongoing royal charity work, and to "be able to host friends and entertain." Us Weekly previously reported the former "Suits" star was "reaching out to people" in the hopes of finding a manager or agent "to represent her for future professional projects."

When you take home the top four Grammy Awards (plus a fifth for best pop vocal) at 18, you kinda get to start calling the shots. And the shot Billie Eilish is calling currently is for fans to quit impersonating her — particularly with bad outfits. "Please stop doing this s—," she wrote on her Instagram Story this week (via NME). "It is not safe for you and it is mean to the people who don't know any better you make me look bad (sic)." Among those who have been called out for the impersonations is photographer Jordan Matter who had a Billie stunt double do a backflip for a shoot he never cleared with her team. He later apologized. Other attempts have been less professional, like one video Billie referenced on social media that shows someone dressed like her — but wearing bad socks. "Sooo disrespectful," she commented, "… that you'd go out pretending to be me wearing THIS." The "Bad Guy" singer is slated to perform on Feb. 9 at the Oscars.

Fun Oscar fact: Even nominees have to shell out big bucks if they want to bring more than two people to the awards show with them. "Pain and glory" star Antonio Banderas revealed the actual price of the tickets he's buying for his plus-threes and beyond during a chat with James Corden this week on "The Late Late Show:" "You get four [seats] and that's it, including me," he said, according to E! News. "And then you have to pay, actually. Of course, I am paying … I think it's $750." James' totally understandable reaction? "Shut the front door. $750 to watch a group of millionaires give each other gold statues?" Antonio cracked a smile and added one more bit of Oscar ticket trivia to the conversation. "That's for people who actually are involved in this," he said. "I think that the tickets for normal…I don't know exactly the number, but for somebody that is not involved in this at all…I think it's a little bit more than that."

Kelis accuses former friends Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo of tricking her, says she never made money off first two albums

Other than her recent appearance on "The Masked Singer," the music world hasn't heard much from Kelis in recent years. That may be because she's still grappling with the way she was treated by friends and colleagues in the industry years ago when she was first starting out. In a new interview with the Guardian, Kelis says she was never paid any money from sales for her first two albums because her close friends the Neptunes — Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo — who produced the albums, along with their management team and lawyers "blatantly lied to" her "and tricked" her into signing a contract that did not actually feature the terms she thought she was signing off on. She was 19 when she met the producing pair, she says, and believed working with them "was a beautiful and pure, creative safe space … But it ended up not being that at all." As she tells it: "I was told we were going to split the whole thing 33/33/33, which we didn't do." She didn't notice what was happening for years, she said, because of touring and other income "and just the fact that I wasn't poor felt like enough", she says. "Their argument is: 'Well, you signed it.' I'm like: 'Yeah, I signed what I was told, and I was too young and too stupid to double-check it.'" The Neptunes didn't respond to the Guardian's multiple requests for comment.

How Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard explained death to their 6-year-old

Amid lots of chatter about the finale of her life-and-death show "The Good Place," Kristen Bell shared a bit about what happens at home with your kids when you deal with death on TV. Speaking to Seth Meyers on "Late Night" this week, the star said the 6-year-old daughter she shares with Dax Shepard recently asked about death. Here's how they explained it: "Our daughter, when she was five said, 'Am I gonna die?' and we both, like, the air got sucked out of the room and we were like, 'This is it. What do we do?!' There are so many roads. Like, do we make up a story? Do we say we don't know? Do we say we know and then actually not know?" Kristen recalled on the show (via ET). "And we just said, 'Yes, you're gonna die.' And she went, 'Ugh…' And then we said, 'And we really don't know what happens when you die. You may just become flowers.'" As it turned out, Lincoln handled it pretty well. "And she went…'Ok' and we were so relieved because we did make a commitment never to lie to them," Kristen said. "And it's controversial because they asked about Santa Claus, and I was like, 'I'm not gonna lie to you.'" Ultimately, she said she's noticed her kids — she and Dax also have a 5-year-old daughter, Delta — "have adopted this very practical sense about the world."

Demi Lovato recalls 'beautiful' experience of coming out to her parents

Demi Lovato has been hinting she's interested in both men and women for years. But when she sat down with Andy Cohen this week on his "Radio Andy" Sirius XM show, she spoke more openly and specifically about her sexuality, telling him about her experience of coming out to her parents in 2017. "It was actually, like, emotional but really beautiful. After everything was done, I was, like, shaking and crying, and I just felt overwhelmed," she said, according to CNN. The singer's parents were nothing but "supportive," she told Andy. "My dad was like, 'Yeah, obviously.' And I was like, 'Oh, OK, Dad.' My mom was the one that I was, like, super nervous about, but she was just like, 'I just want you to be happy.' That was so beautiful and amazing, and like I said, I'm so grateful." Demi, who's slated to perform the National Anthem at the Super Bowl this weekend in Miami, was first linked romantically to a woman in 2017.

Lisa Vanderpump's dog foundation sued over sexual harassment claim

Lisa Vanderpump's Vanderpump Dog Foundation is being sued by a former employee who claims she was sexually harassed on the job, according to Page Six. The outlet reports Damiana Guzman claims in documents filed this week that after working for two months as a dog groomer for the organization, she had to quit last July "because of the intolerable working conditions created by her manager, Martin Duarte, and his superiors." She goes on to say Duarte "mocked [her] by calling her things such as a 'skinny no-a– fool,' and a 'flat-a– b—-," and that he said "he could turn her straight." In the documents, Guzman adds that, "not a day went by where Duarte didn't make a comment about [her] body, her sexual preference, or his sexual prowess." She says when she complained to management at the foundation, nothing was done. She's seeking unspecified damages.

Queen Latifah kicks off Queen Collective program for young women filmmakers

The Oscars still have some work to do when it comes to recognizing women directors and particularly, women of color in those roles. But Queen Latifah's doing what she can to ensure women aren't shut out of filmmaking for lack of opportunity. This week, the singer and actress met with three young female filmmakers in New York City to kick off the second year of her Queen Collective program. "Basically it was the idea of bringing together a collective of women and giving an opportunity for female filmmakers to create a project from A to Z," she told Variety of the program, which begins with submissions for a chance to "receive mentorship, education, funding, distribution, media opportunities and other forms of support" while they develop their films. The films will eventually premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in April. "People should not be denied their opportunity to reach their maximum potential. I don't know what everybody's so afraid of," Latifah said. "To be honest with you, it would only enhance our business and entertainment. It enhances all of our worlds to see interesting stories and to see things as they really could be. The status quo is boring." This year's winners include Sam Knoweles, whose documentary "tangled Roots" delves into hair discrimination in the United States, and Nadine Natour and Ugonna Okpalaoka, whose documentary "Gloves Off" follows a black female police officer who moonlights as a boxer. The film tackles issues like racism, sexism in the workplace and police brutality.

At 55, supermodel Elle Macpherson — aka "The Body" — looks as amazing as she ever did. But just a few years ago, she says she "didn't recognize" her own body. That's why she reached out to nutritionist Simone Laubscher. The two ultimately teamed up not just to help Elle feel and look healthier but also to launch their own wellbeing company, Welleco, which is now a multi-million dollar brand selling natural supplements and powders. In their early meetings, Elle says Simone coached her through an alkaline diet in which she eschews red meat, wheat, dairy, sugar, and processed food. According to the Daily Mail, giving your body the right PH balance corrects the otherwise acidic environment that's often to blame for weight gain, energy and digestive problems and disease. "Pretty much everything associated with fun is more acidic — coffee, chocolate, ice cream, alcohol, fried foods etc," says Simone. "This can tip our body's healthy alkaline balance [in the wrong way]." Now, Elle's diet tends to feature breakfasts like eggs, spinach and avocado, followed by salmon, beetroot salad and pearly barley for lunch and fish with Greek salad (including cheese) for dinner. Snacks consist of things like dates, green tea smoothies and frozen banana halves. Simone, who works with other celebs as well, also recommends drinking plenty of water, avoiding gluten, sugar and sweeteners and limiting grains. For Elle, everything gets rounded out with seven hours of sleep, some morning meditation and plenty of "destressing" exercise.
