It's that time again! Time to remember all the ways the stars are nothing like the rest of us! First up, a trademarked celebrity tot! Victoria Beckham registered her darling 5-year-old daughter's name with the intellectual property authorities this month. The former Spice Girl made sure "Harper Beckham" was trademarked in Europe in order to ensure the name is not used for marketing purposes by anyone other than Victoria. If that sounds extreme, in the Beckham family, it's certainly not. Every member of the famous family has their name trademarked, including all of Harper's big brothers, Cruz Beckham, Romeo Beckham and Brooklyn Beckham. Owning a house in and of itself is a big dream for most people. But owning a piece of Hollywood history? Just par for the course if you're Taylor Swift! The star purchased a home in Beverly Hills back in 2015 that authorities recently designated a Local Historic Landmark. The $25 million mansion was originally built in 1934 by Hollywood honcho Samuel Goldwyn.
Getting asked to another school's prom was pretty impressive back in high school, but the stars receive all sorts of prom invitations. Take Kylie Jenner for example, who recently made one high school student's dream come true by showing up at his prom in Sacramento, California. The reality star documented the big night for "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," which will show her attending the dance with high schooler Albert Ochoa.

Another reason stars are nothing like us? They pursue their passions… no matter how strange! Former blink-182 guitarist Tom DeLonge always believed in aliens, but since leaving the band, he's become obsessed with the study of extraterrestrial life. He cites seeing alien spacecrafts himself as inspiring him, and admits he believes there are other cosmic life forms around. He's even written a book about it, "Sekret Machines: Gods."
Most of us don't gain weight on purpose — those extra LBs just seem to sneak up on us over the years. But when you're a star, there are times you're actually asked to pack on the pounds for a role. That happened to Vanessa Hudgens in 2013 when she signed on for the movie "Gimme Shelter," which required her to weigh 20 pounds more. But taking that weight off? That's something most people can relate to! Except that Vanessa did it in a very Hollywood way, turning to the same popular class that Beyonce has been known to use — SoulCycle. Vanessa credits two classes a day at the expensive exercise studio with helping her lose the weight, as well as a diet high in fats and low in carbs.
How much do you spend on clothes every month? How about shoes and accessories? If you've got more of a Forever 21 budget, you might not relate to "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Erika Jayne! The reality star recently opened up about just how much it costs to live her life — and the total will shock you! "It's a lot, maybe $40,000 a month on clothes, shoes and accessories But it's all for work. I'm on television, this is what I do for a living. It's part of the job," Erika recently told In Touch.
When it comes to having children, celebrities have the resources to raise them anywhere in the world. London, where they're planning to live for the twin's infant and toddler years, according to E! News.
Miranda Lambert might be 33 years old, but she still requires a nanny bag! The country star told the New York Post that her assistant always makes sure she has alcohol on hand, sharing, "My assistant packs — I call it my nanny bag — she packs a bag of liquor for emergencies, for meltdowns and things like that." Must be nice, Miranda!
Dealing with rogue relatives for most people only happens during the holidays, but for celebrities, these pesky folks can pop up at any time. Meghan Markle is experiencing this firsthand, as her 51-year-old half-sister is planning to publish a tell-all book that includes information about the "Suits" actress, who's been dating Prince Harry for the better part of a year now. Among the claims? She refers to Meghan as "Princess Pushy." Ouch!
Can you imagine Elton John giving you life advice? That's just a day in the life of Ed Sheeran, who calls the iconic singer a mentor. Elton shared with Rolling Stone some pretty specific advice he dished out to the younger star, which included "don't put on weight." Why the specific warning? "He's very prone to put on weight like I am," Elton told the magazine. If Ed's "Shape of You" video is indication, it looks like he took that advice to heart!
A five-bedroom home doesn't sound that far out of the realm of possibility for us regular folks, but Katy Perry managed to find one with an incredibly hefty price tag! According to TMZ, the singer recently purchased a $19 million mansion in Beverly Hills and though it only has five bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms, the amenities and the neighbors are what really bump up the price tag. The 5,427-square foot pad has amazing views, an infinity pool and boasts a neighborhood full of A-list stars like Adele, Nicole Kidman and Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis.
