Ready to feel old? On March 31, 2019, our favorite high school romantic-dramedy, "10 Things I Hate About You," turns 20. The film, which is loosely based on Shakespeare's "The Taming of the Shrew," features an all-star cast that includes Heath Ledger, Julia Stiles, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Gabrielle Union. To celebrate the double-decade anniversary, Wonderwall.com is checking up on the stars of this cult hit to find out what happened after the credits rolled and what's going on in their lives today. Australian actor Heath Ledger starred as lovable bad boy Patrick Verona in "10 Things I Hate About You." The film was widely considered Heath's breakout role in the States and the start of his short but impressive Hollywood film career.

By 2005, Heath Ledger had added a slew of films to his resume including "The Patriot," "A Knight's Tale" and "Brokeback Mountain" — the latter of which led him to a real-life romance with co-star Michelle Williams. The couple welcomed daughter Matilda in 2005 and split in 2007. Heath continued landing high-profile roles such as The Joker in 2008's "The Dark Knight" as he battled a prescription drug and alcohol addiction that ultimately led to his death from an accidental overdose in January 2008 when he was just 28 (he's seen here a few months earlier). In 2009, Heath's last film, "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus," was completed with the help of Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell, who acted in Heath's remaining scenes. That same year, Heath was awarded a best supporting actor Oscar for his work in "The Dark Knight" making him the first actor to ever receive the honor posthumously.

Julia Stiles starred as brooding and bookish Kat Stratford in "10 Things I Hate About You." A strong-willed high school student, Kat isn't afraid to shut down her less-informed teachers or fellow classmates. Against her better judgment, Kat finds the one thing she can't shut down are her feelings for Patrick.

Following her role in "10 Things I Hate About You," Julia Stiles entered a new era in her film career. Cast in movies like "Down to You," "Save the Last Dance" and "Mona Lisa Smile," Julia became a fixture in Young Hollywood. In 2001, the actress made headlines when she enrolled at Columbia University. She graduated four years later with a bachelor of arts degree in English, all while continuing to land blockbuster Hollywood roles. Today, Julia's best known for playing Nicolette "Nicky" Parsons in the "Bourne Identity" franchise, including 2016's "Jason Bourne." Through the years, Julia's also appeared on TV shows like "Dexter" (which earned her Emmy and Golden Globe nominations), "The Mindy Project" and "Riviera." She even tried her hand at writing and directing the 2013 series "Paloma." In 2017, she married camera operator Preston J. Cook and gave birth to their son, Strummer Newcomb Cook.

An adorably young Joseph Gordon-Levitt starred as the sweet and painfully shy Cameron James in "10 Things I Hate About You." Cameron is a nerdy new kid at Padua High School who quickly falls head over heels in love with Kat Stratford's little sister, Bianca. Fun fact: His character's name was inspired by "Titanic" director James Cameron.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt had one of the most surprising career trajectories following "10 Things I Hate About You." The young actor morphed from an awkward alien teen on "3rd Rock from the Sun" to a hunky leading man starring in films like "500 Days of Summer," "Inception," "The Dark Knight Rises" and "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra." Like co-star Julia Stiles, Joseph attended Columbia (the School of General Studies), although he dropped out in 2004 to pursue more creative endeavors, including filmmaking. He was both the star and producer of the 2012 crime-drama "Looper" and the writer, director and star of the 2013 romantic-dramedy "Don Jon." He also added author to his ever-growing list of professional achievements, publishing the first of his "Tiny Book of Tiny Stories" series in 2011. In 2014, Joseph married technology developer Tasha McCauley and debuted his variety TV series "HitRECord on TV," which is based on the collaborative artistic forum he launched with his late brother, "Burning" Dan Gordon-Levitt, who died in 2010. In 2015, Tasha and Joseph welcomed their first child, a son; a second boy arrived in 2017. Up next for this multi-talented star is the 2019 drama "7500" and roles in "The Trial of the Chicago 7" and the R-rated musical "Wingmen."

Gabrielle Union starred as Chastity, Bianca Stratford's best friend in "10 Things I Hate About You." Chastity is Bianca's ride or die but proves herself less than loyal when she sneaks around with high school cutie Joey behind Bianca's back.

It's no secret that Gabrielle Union's career kicked into high gear after "10 Things I Hate About You" premiered. When she landed TV roles like Dr. Ellis on "City of Angels" and films like "Love & Basketball" and "Bring it On," it was clear the UCLA graduate was on track to become a leading lady in Hollywood. Today, some of Gabrielle's best known films include "Deliver Us From Eva," "Bad Boys II," "Think Like a Man" and the 2018 thriller "Breaking In." After ending her five-year marriage to NFL star Chris Howard in 2006, Gabrielle found love with NBA legend Dwyane Wade, whom she married in 2014. Three years later, Gabrielle published her memoir "We're Going to Need More Wine," in which she discussed her battle with infertility, relationships, money and her experiences as a black woman in Hollywood. In 2018, Gabrielle and Dwyane welcomed daughter Kaavia James via surrogate. When the curtains closed on "10 Things I Hate About You," Andrew Keegan went back to work as the popular character Wilson West (the dude with a kid) on the TV series "7th Heaven." While it seemed this hunky heartthrob would become a major film star, Andrew's career took a completely unexpected turn. Though he's landed small roles in movies like the 2000 rom-com "The Broken Hearts Club" and the 2018 horror-comedy "Living Among Us," Andrew's also been busy running his own "open source spiritual community." That's right: Andrew co-founded his own religion. Called Full Circle, the faith-based organization is aimed at creating a better community and inspiring members to become better versions of themselves. Although Andrew continues to act occasionally — he's set to appear in "Adverse" opposite Sean Astin and Mickey Rourke — he's also busy being a dad to daughter Aiya Rose, whom he welcomed in 2016 with longtime partner Arista Ilana.

What's Larisa Oleynik been up to since wrapping "10 Things I Hate About You"? Just about everything. Larisa continued her recurring role opposite Joseph Gordon-Levitt (whom she dated from 1998 to 2002) on the comedy series "3rd Rock from the Sun" until the series ended in 2000. She then landed a recurring role on "Mad Men." By 2011, she was also making repeat appearances on "Hawaii Five-O." The following year, she made a return to the big screen in "Atlas Shrugged II: The Big Strike," lent her voice to the animated series "Winx Club: Enchantix" and "Winx Club: Beyond Believix" and took on a recurring role as Maggie Cutler on the TV drama "Pretty Little Liars." In 2017, Larisa appeared in an off-Broadway production of "Baghdaddy" and in the movie "Wandering Off." You can next catch Larisa in the 2019 independent sci-fi drama "Auggie" as well as the thriller "Animal Among Us" and the TV series "Trinkets."

Where have you seen David Krumholtz since "10 Things I Hate About You"? Just about everywhere. The Queens-born actor scored recurring roles on TV shows like "The Trouble with Normal," "Numb3rs," "Mom," "The Good Wife" and more while also acting in films like "The Mexican," "The Santa Clause 2," "Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle," "Ray" and "Sausage Party." In 2018, David returned to the small screen on the comedy "Living Biblically" as Rabbi Gil while also continuing his role as Harvey Wasserman on the HBO drama "The Deuce." That same year, David appeared in the Oscar-nominated film "The Battle of Buster Scruggs." Married since 2010 to actress Vanessa Britting, this husband, actor and father of two has been busy filming three movies for 2019 including the crime-drama "Crown Vic."

The same year Allison Janney appeared in "10 Things I Hate About You," she landed a recurring role on the political drama series "The West Wing" and appeared in an off-Broadway production of Shakespeare's "The Taming of the Shrew" — the very play on which "10 Things" is loosely based. Allison's had roles in films like "The Hours," "Finding Nemo," "Juno" and "The Help" while also appearing on Tv shows including "Lost," "Mr. Sunshine" and "Masters of Sex." In 2017, following her roles in the films "Tallulah" and "The Girl on the Train," Allison took on her most provocative role to date as LaVona Golden, Tonya Harding's mother in the biopic "I, Tonya." The performance earned Allison her first Academy Award nomination and win for best supporting actress — a category she also won at the Golden Globes in 2018. Since 2013, Allison's played Bonnie on the CBS sitcom "Mom" alongside Anna Faris. In February 2019, Allison appeared in the big-screen family dramedy "Troop Zero" and has upcoming roles in multiple films including the thriller "Ma" and a yet-to-be-titled biopic based on the life of Fox News exec Roger Ailes.

Larry Miller is the only "10 Things I Hate About You" actor who reprised his role on the TV series spinoff based on the film, which aired from 2009 to 2010. Cool distinction aside, Larry's also found fame on the stage in the Broadway production of "The Dinner Party" and as a supporting actor in the big-screen action-comedy "Get Smart" and on TV shows like "Boston Legal" and "Gravity." In 2018, Larry appeared in the films "Rock Steady Row," "The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then The Bigfoot" and the comedy "Second Act" starring Jennifer Lopez. Along with appearing in a March 2019 episode of "NCIS," Larry is also filming the upcoming documentary "Pat Morita: Long Story Short."

The same year Susan May Pratt appeared in "10 Things I Hate About You," she also took on the role of Alicia in "Drive Me Crazy" opposite Melissa Joan Hart and Adrian Grenier. Her biggest role would come in 2000 as ballerina Maureen in the musical-drama "Center Stage." One of Susan's few lead roles came in the 2002 drama "Searching For Paradise" alongside Chris Noth, but it didn't translate into more starring roles for the young actress. While Susan's appeared on numerous TV shows like "Charmed," "Ghost Whisperer," "Mad Men" and "Masters of Sex" and taken supporting roles in films like "Who's Your Monkey" and "The Gift," her career in Hollywood has remained mostly low-key. Thankfully, we get to see more of Susan in the upcoming comedy film "Act Super Naturally," which is a prequel to her 2011 film "Act Naturally."
